You can still run missions in Solo mode.  I just did a siphon to test if I kept resources after extraction and you do.  It's not ideal but it should work for the time being if you have friends dead set on grinding.  Affinity is retained as well.

usually they post server problems/downtime/maintenance/ddos/whatever there
and there is although the fastest place to know that its fixed and working again
