Petition To Keep Raid Missions In The Game (With A Poll!)

The real goal behind this is $$$.

If missiosn are slower, and give less resources and people get bored of the mand wont run much - they are forced to buy materials for cash.

 

I bet this is accompanied with a "blueprint balancing" that will greatly increase costs.

I like the ideas for the new mission types, but please keep Raid and axe Rescue instead. Raid is elegant in its simplicity.

 

Now that I'm thinking about it, Raid is very similar to Capture. Perhaps those two mission types can be combined or alternated? Like, you go into a "Capture" mission, but you don't know until Lotus starts talking whether you will be capturing a person or an artifact.

My heart stopped when I heard they were going to remove Raid.  Besides Exterminate, Raid is my most played mission type (use for farming and getting XP). That they are going to replace it with a timed mission type (which I loathe as much as Escort missions), makes me start doubting I will be continuing to play this game for the first time.

 

My order of mission types from most to least played:

 

Exterminate

Raid

Capture

Sabotage (mining equipment)

Sabotage (reactor)

Spy/Deception

Mobile Defense (Corpus)

Mobile Defense (Infested)

Mobile Defense (Grinner)

Defense (Infested)

Defense (Grinner/Corpus)

Rescue

 

As you can see, Rescue is at the bottom of my list.  If you remove a mission type....remove Rescue!

 

Edit: forgot about Spy/Deception....

Raid missions is the BEST!!! Your system LIES!!! Everyone plays raid the most... its Hostage we all hate... everyone hates the friggin Hostage... I also hate sabotage too cause most enemies murder you while your trying to break that thing in my opinion. Also Survival? Meaning replace all current raid missions with survival? Imagine how hard the second level of mercury will be with something that terrifying for noobs.

Missions that should be removed:

 

Spy Mission - Waste of Ciphers and Time and creating more tedious hacking. Lower data units to 1-2 for all factions or remove this boring mission.

Rescue - It's obvious this cannot be fixed and it's a big waste of time. unless the guy himself shoots and does the appropriate damage and can aim, this mission does not belong in a game with ninjas.

 

Raid allowed you to take a stealthy approach to missions, something destroying a reactor can't always do. Don't let deception be that only stealthy mission.

 

And come up with new missions. What's the point in removing old missions and not adding any. it's just one boring grind.

 

And make change prime blueprints to prime skin blueprints or the upgrade system and keep the original weapon skin.

 

And allow Modules shown as a dot on the map when using thief's wit(Which should be a sentinel mod).

 

And make all ammo conversions sentinel mods. Why do you guys keep adding mods for everyhting but sentinels. All there is was just one mod, you keep adding mods to weapons and frames that clearly do not fit due to lack of space. move some mods to sentinels. Make them more useful.

Missions that I play most often.

 

Defense

Exterminate

Raid

Mobile defense

Capture

Sabotage

Deception

Spy

Rescue.

 

Of all my attempts soloing games, rescue is by far the hardest due to AI being pants on $&*&*#(%&.

Yes I can even solo defs with the right frame.

 

Raid is simple and a good way to farm up resources quickly.

This list is more accurate. They should consider modifying these missions and make them more interesting w/o making it more tedious and keep it simple.
