In orbit, another Tenno ship, this one a Scimitar, was cloaked and waiting for... something. The pilot and owner, a Tenno currently using a blue Limbo, was wandering his ship, looking for something. The ship was orderly, as if it was obsessively organized repeatedly. Honestly,  given the owner, that wasn't unlikely. Placed in a pile on top of his Foundry at the moment was a briefcase and a set of rather nice clothes. A suit and tie, to be specific. Finally finding what he was looking for, the Tenno threw what appeared to be a fake goatee. Cutting off his link to his Frame,  the Operator stepped out of his transference chamber.

The Operator was on the tall side, appearing to be in his late teens. His brown hair was fairly short, and could only be described as orderly. He walked across his ship back to his foundry again, walking past his Frame. He picked up the briefcase, opening it up quickly to verify the contents. Hundreds of thousands of credits sat in the briefcase, most likely for bribing purposes. Next, he put on the (quite nice) suit, covering up his jumpsuit. After adjusting his tie, he plqced the fake goatee on, it instantly sticking to his face. In a moment, he had gone from looking like a normal teen to looking like a wealthy businessman. Perfect for this infiltration operation.

Docked to the underside of the Tenno ship was a former Corpus shuttle, turned into a freelance merchant ship before the Tenno... 'borrowed' it. Now, it was the ship you would expect to see a wealthy businessman using. Perfect for his disguise. Entering the ship through the docking port, he walked up to the controls, and sat down. First, he undocked the two ships, leaving them both to drift awayfrom each other. Next, he activated full thrust on the shuttle, and flew down to the city below.

Clogori was back.

Before either of them can get any closer to the source of the cracking sound, two gunshots ring out, almost simultaneously, from several streets behind them.

Cyrus instinctively ducked down despite no bullets flying directly at him.

”Stay low,” Cyrus hissed at Geordie, “I don’t know what they’re shooting at, but I doubt you want to catch a stray bullet in the head.”

"Farewell Svytoj. I hope you do not come to regret your choices today, though I fear you shall."

And With that, J'Taav began to walk off, the rain quickly obscuring him.

Guess we'll have to see...Svytoj thougth to himself, slightly sighing. He finally made his way to the edge of the refugee district. He readied his papers, the sparks fading away well before he would have reached any guard positions.

High above Uranus, above the city, a moderate sized, mess of a space craft dropped from punch. A man, his bloodied body only thinly veiled by his dark red cloak, sat at controls. Two sentinels busily swarmed around the ship.
Should J'Taav, or any of his comrades been listening in, a sharp radio signal would come crashing over their COMM lines.

The bullet glances off of a crystalline shell covering the entirety of the mesa, barely visible in the low lighting. The frame stumbles slightly, as if surprised by how quickly Jane was able to respond to her attack.

The mesa drew her nikana, surging forward into a horizontal slash. Embers drifted off the blade, revealing its elemental augmentations.

"Sorry," the mesa muttered.

Jane doesn't respond to the Mesa's rambling, or even acknowledge that she heard it in the first place. A sudden gust of wind flaps the hood on her face, revealing a set of turquoise blue eyes that have nearly fully glazed over and a mouth slightly ajar.

The operative is running on a mix of pure instinct and training sessions beat into her with a stick; sliding intensely to avoid the sideways strike. As she does so, a glint flashes in the space between Jane and the Mesa, forcibly ejected from the teen's handgun. Right as the bullet lightly kisses the space between Mesa's fingers and the sword handle Jane swipes upwards with her dagger, igniting the payload within in a intense localized explosion as she slides violently past on the slick covered rooftops.

The mesa does a perfectly executed back handspring, avoiding the worst of the blast. Her nikana is discarded in her haste to dodge the explosion, and she clicks her hands, the pistol barrels attached to her forarms swinging around and attaching to her index fingers. In an instand, the mesa's perception shifted, and she became acutely aware of everything in front of her.

Raising her peacemakers, the mesa began to fire a torrent of bullets at Jane, each aimed with perfect precision.

Geordie sighed internally at the lack of an answer, but quickly forgot as his attention was drawn to the cracking noise. He followed Cyrus as best he could, doing his best to keep up despite the slippery ground and added speed of his companion. He briefly wondered why they were running at the noise rather than away from it, but decided not to say anything about it. I'm already asking far too many questions as it is, he thought to himself.

There was an explosion, followed by several more shots ringing out. The source was coming from a few blocks away, just close enough that Geordie and Cyrus might be able to intervene if needed. However, from the street they had been approaching, another loud snapping noise could be heard. They'd have to choose what they responded too.

The moment she saw Sarah, the Operator was in a dead sprint. She had her weapon ready, but revealed it when the shotgun blast went off. Probably not a great move on her part, due to the conspicuous nature and strange look of the Azima pistol. Anywho, the Operator moved pretty fast of someone of her size (rather small), and had temporarily abandoned stealth.

Meanwhile, the Rhino's Operator had been wandering around, looking for his partner-in-crime with little success.  Once he heard the shotgun blast, he panicked for a moment. Had she gotten herself killed? No, she was probably fine. Still, he dashed directly toward the source of the blast, Lex Pistol already in his hand.

As the Operator tailed Sarah, something became visible on the rooftop of the nearest building. A mesa, clad in brown and black, was fighting someone else, currently not visible from their point of view.

Sarah tore off her rough coat, tossing it in the doorway of a nearby house before beginning to climb up the side of the building. It was slow going, as there weren't many handholds, and the metal/concrete walls were slick from the rain.

The rhino's operator neared an open part of the district, where his compatriot could be seen chasing someone else.

In an instand, the mesa's perception shifted, and she became acutely aware of everything in front of her.

Raising her peacemakers, the mesa began to fire a torrent of bullets at Jane, each aimed with perfect precision.

(considering the target's current mindset, ol' Mesa could be waxing sonnets and haiku and it'd still sound like rambling :s)

Jane is sent careening backwards and splaying out onto the dusty dirt, her face tightened up in pain. There was no time to complain though, for as soon as her behind hit the ground she quickly torqued herself into a sideways roll; a good idea considering that the space was quickly filled with three wooden knives where her head and vitals were. Adrenaline coursing through her body, Jane bolts up and makes a mad dash into the wreckage in front of her. No sooner had she cleared the nearest wall than another loud BANG and a bunch of beanbags zoom centimeters past her cranium. A meek yelp escapes from the teen's mouth before she continues her sprint through the darkness.

"Think she'll make it today~?"

"Not at the rate she's going."

"I'll go get breakfast ready up top~"

"Better make it only for two, the patient won't be in any position to eat solids."

A flowery giggle escapes beside the brown woman before fading away. Swinging her wooden stick into a ready stance, the woman sprints off after Jane, silently clearing the distance in a fraction of time.

Inside, primal fear tempered with forced focus flows through Jane's veins as she stumbles and trips through the unlit massive wreckage. The idea of flailing blind around in the remains of a grineer deathtrap though is second only to the fact that two of the most terrifying people in her life right now is after her and won't stop until the teen either finishes her task of she's beaten silly. Fortunately Jane's parents are harsh but not unfair; multiple routes through the galleon have been highlighted via signs or half dead lights, and the keys are placed in the open, but the hallways are always booby trapped and the items always out of reach by normal movement methods. With time running out Jane turns around a corner into the wide remains of an artillery room. As she does so however the entire room lights up with artificial lamps, and no less than half a dozen turrets (the ones on the plains) jury rigged into the ceiling and walls turn around and begin spinning up.

"...oh hek..."

Though not enhanced cybernetically, genetically enhanced or warped by unexplained forces of nature, sheer training and practice has raised the hooded operative to a level that would surprise even the mystical warriors from the beyond. With lightning speed Jane leaps up off the rooftop and jumps backwards towards the closest open alleyway while firing off her Lex like a fictional pre-old war outlaw from one of the archived videos she watched with one of her aunts.

One shot hits the discarded sword, bouncing the weapon right off the rooftop and zooming sharp end first at the Mesa's right peacemaker. Two shots hit the closest of the incoming barrage square on to cause the shrapnel to bounce back and hopefully cause an eventual backlash (to 15:34. spanish dub is the only version of the example I mean I could find) back towards the hostile frame. With her last bullet as she drops down into the street below she fires it in the shadow of the second last round, the target being straight down the barrel of the Mesa's left peacemaker. (yes, I counted. Does the Mesa count her bullets?)

The nikana is indeed sent spinning towards the mesa, but the mesa snatches it out of the air and sheathes it in the flash of an eye. For the briefest instant, the bullets stop coming. Then they resume again.

The void-forged bullets Jane tried to shoot ended up drilling through or knocking aside her weaker conventional ammunition, and continued on their path towards the operative.

Her last bullet did make contact with the mesa's barrel, but a shift of movement in the mesa's hand resulted in it simply knocking her hand to the side.

Sarah finally ascended the roof, and gave the mesa at the top a crooked grin.

"Been some time Abby, how've ya been?" she asked. The second she opened her mouth, the mesa's pistols spun towards her and immediately fired. However, rather than cause Sarah's head to explode, the bullets collided with a softly glowing shield of void energy, roughly the size of a person.

"Well, that's no way to greet an old friend. Especially not after you ran off on me after-"

Several more bullets slammed against the shield. Sarah's hand began to shake slightly from the effort of maintaining the shield.

"-Interrupting people with gunfire is a very rude thing to do I'll have you kn-"

Even more gunshots rang out, though they mesa seemed to be firing slower now.

"Oh come on! How much energy can you still have!?" Sarah laughed nervously, beads of sweat beginning to run down her face. Her breath was also beginning to become labored.

Then the mesa's shatter-shield dropped, and in an instant a shotgun blast rang out, causing the mesa to drop to one knee. Ebony stood behind her, quickly reloading her tigris.

In his hand, a triangular prism; old and beaten to hell, but obviously still issued by the city god knows how long ago. In the man's other hand, the severed head of a Nidus.
And finally, over his shoulder, an large, glitchy looking wyrm with orange and gold sparks orbiting around it.

“You probably won’t need to. I don’t have a spare battery for it anyways. Now, let’s move.” Cyrus slid out from behind the shack and moved onto the side of the road, staying low to the ground with his gun raised.
