LongIron
6 times I have been on Xini on a high level wave and after using a vortex Nova will tend to use the Ultimate, I think its called, causing the game, for everyone, to crash. Even better, the task window for reporting bugs appears and crashes also.. wonderful. Nova is a bad Warframe altogether and doesn't even make sense, but since one of her skills crashes the game, well.. I don't know how a ridiculous power was aloud, massive chain explosions. Not even to do with antimatter.
Erusa
Anti-matter, in theory, cancels out matter. Hence the nuclear scale of explosions...In the game, performance wise, maybe you should try lowering the brightness a bit?...Or I suppose the devs could reduce the brightness more (it's already been reduced once) just to avoid these crashes...Maybe I should avoid using a white energy color too when I go to Xini. :I
LongIron
Well its not just me it affects, ultimate is great when used with vortex, but it breaks my computers heart too often.

CrazyCanadian24
Nova in general shouldn't even exist, but DE just haaaaad to go to the "design council" (more like toddler council) for the concept Bloody idiots.
LongIron
I guess support would like to know the bug reporting window crashes every time ?
LongIron
Indeed, I am not trying to slag-off Nova, just stating how often it seems to break. But yes, she is very much a point-boom-done character.

TheStag
DE says, "Design Council, you make the next frame!" What happens is.... Everyone makes up the most OP thing they could possibly imagine. Thus, Nova was born.

Luminati07
It's amusing that you, playing as a Vauban, are creating a thread about another Warframe crashing the game. When Vauban was released, he too, crashed the game.
HellEnforcer
I have never crashed a single time every time i see that situation. Maybe is something to do at your end.

That's a really unfortunate bug, given the popularity of Vauban and Nova. I'd definitely suggest you send a ticket in if the bug report pop-up is crashing as well. DE says, "Design Council, you make the next frame!" What happens is.... Everyone makes up the most OP thing they could possibly imagine. Thus, Nova was born. ...and the level of misinformation and stupidity in this post is astounding. Nova actually looked to be a rather weak frame after the design council finished voting (disregard for a second the fact that her concept didn't offer much wiggle room and was relatively stupid to begin with). She seemed like she'd end up as an underpowered nuker like how old-school Ember used to be, with 3 flavors of damage and a transportation ability. Scott beefed up her skills when he actually created the frame. Her #1 didn't say anything about serrated blade damage initially. Her #2 didn't have any text in it about absorbing 4x damage when people voted on it. Her #4 had nothing in it about double damage or slowing effects. If you think that she was originally written and voted to be an OP super-frame, think again. All those juicy effects that people seem to love to harp on were added after the voting by the devs. Go ahead and rag on the design council for her S#&$ concept, but don't think for a second that they're to blame for her current power level. Gregio
Nova in general shouldn't even exist, but DE just haaaaad to go to the "design council" (more like toddler council) for the concept Bloody idiots. And they say design council people are rude and elitists. Well. Your problem seems to be mostly a hardware deficiency. Nova is on the high end of graphical and CPU extensive requirements of warframe, so when those two powers collide and everything detonates, your computer can't handle it. It's not exactly DE's responsibility to make the game run smoothly AT THE LOWEST specs, or even below them.
Cryp2Nite
I never experienced that, and I play Nova and Vauban alot. On the other hand...I never crashed cause of Vortex in the past, as this occurred more often to some people.

Kinperor
It's amusing that you, playing as a Vauban, are creating a thread about another Warframe crashing the game. When Vauban was released, he too, crashed the game. Just last week-end I crashed the game repeatedly with Mag's crush, so an ultimate crashing the game isn't exactly anything new... BTW, @ OP:The name of Nova's ultimate isn't "ultimate", it's "Molecular Prime".

Don't forget that when Vauban launched there was a string of CTD bugs associated with his vortex skill, so it is possible that something fishy is going on with a Nova/Vauban power interaction. Best to not rule it out and just send in a ticket to let the devs sort it out if there really is a bug afoot.
LongIron
This is true. It is you, the PC Owner, whose responsibility it is to maintain your specs and improve them if necessary. Why give it such ridiculous high res set of explosions, no one needs to see every single bit of matter that can possibly be affected. A nice 2d drawing of a explosion with suffice. My point was that the game, online mode, is still to be a little enhanced. Maybe when online dial down the visuals? Also my other point was the bug report for crashes, crashes. Has never worked. All this to receive feedback on popularity of topics so I know whether I should take them further or not. Thank you for your feedback.

It's not my fault that two 7750s and a quad-core @ 3.4GHz can run BF3 on high/ultra-high and consistently get 50+ FPS, but give up as soon as someone decides to press 4 in Warframe. Thank you for your feedback. Excuse me for saying this, but that sounds like an excuse because your thread didn't get the answers you expected. In case you really intended to use this thread to gauge the "popularity" of the topics to take them further or not, I would recommend editing your first post extensively to, you know, make it more obvious. The rest of us clearly do not have the necessarily logic and cannot make the connections that turn your post into a feedback on the stability of online mode and adaptive visuals, so, for us dummies' sake, make your post more obvious. Personally, I haven't had any problems with Nova's explosions, and my computer isn't new or particularly powerful, so this could be a bug on your side. @CrazyCanadian24 I didn't say the only problem were his specs, only that DE doesn't have to cater to the lowest specs possible. I can run Crysis 2 on maximum settings, but Minecraft on Farthest render settings sometimes lag me. There might be something DE can do to improve it, but more often than not, given that a computer has the necessary specs, that kind of crash and errors are related to user-end problems, not developer issues.
