If I have Covert Lethality on a dagger, is there any point in Finishing Touch?

I'm not quite sure how these mods interact, but from what I can read on the wiki Covert Lethality makes it so a finisher will do the entirety of the enemy's health in damage. Does this make Finishing Touch a pointless addition if a dagger build already has Covert Lethality?

Yes, Finishing Touch is pointless if you have Covert Lethality, as they both buff the same attacks (Rear finishers and Front finishers) and Covert Lethality gives essentially infinite damage.

There's no point to add Finishing Touch when the enemy is already dead.

If you're unable to do finishers then you're better off finishing them with a gun.

Covert Lethality will always kill an enemy (on a stealth finisher), no matter what damage you have on the dagger. You want to get as much attackspeed as possible because it speeds up the finisher animations. That said, you still want to put somewhat of a build on it as not every enemy is able to be stealth-finish-ed.

If it was Primed Finishing Touch, then you could go overkill with it, which is the minimum viable for Sorties at all times.

I agree, seeing higher damage numbers is very satisfying and scores you a lot of bragging rights and epic screenshot moments
