Ember 2018 - New new approach

Ember was hit during the past rework massively by nerfing her 4th and only slightly altering her 1st and 3rd. Compared to more recently released frames however, Ember is now seriously lacking in many ways. She now has poor CC, her damage is below average both due to her fire damage type which scales badly and also stat-wise. Also many skills still have almost the same effect from the closed-beta of WARFRAME.

Ember does not need a tweak - She needs a completely new approach!My concept is rather huge, so take a coffee before starting. :clem:

EMBER - THE FIERY PHOENIX

1st ability: FIREBURST (previously Fireball)
Launches a fireball towards the target dealing X fire damage. The longer the distance is, the hotter the flame becomes up to a maximum of X meters. When hitting ground there will be a small fire cloud remaining afterwards for X seconds, dealing fire damage over time to all targets in proximity. The ability button can be pressed which will make Ember put away her weapons and consume energy over time while shooting fire-beams with a maximum range of 15 meters. The damage will scale up fast but so will the energy costs over time similar to her current World in Flames. Enemy being killed by FIREBURST's beam will explode and deal fire damage in proximity.

2nd ability: ACCERLERANT
Makes nearby enemies take increased damage from fire-based attacks and also increases the duration of heat procs by X% (affected by power duration). When casting accelerant onto napalm clouds and fireblast fire rings this will refresh their duration entirely and boost their damage massively for X seconds. Also casting the ability while Ember is engulfed by Fiery Form, will boost her parcour speed and damage-to-fire conversion rate.

3rd ability: FIREBLAST
Erupts a ring of fire dealing high fire damage instantly to all enemies within and to those that have been hit by the fire-wave resulting from the explosion. Casting a fireblast in an already existing fireblast, will consume the previous ring and increase the damage and blast radius by X%. Enemies staying within the fireblast area continue to take fire damage which increases exponentially per second for as long as they remain inside. 

4th ability: FIERY FORM (replaces World in Flames)
Turns Ember into a phoenix avatar state. While being in Fiery Form, Ember consumes energy over time and deals heat damage to all enemies in very small proximity. The energy costs over time ramp up drastically after some time (~15 secs) but without any cap making the skill an emergency button but nothing to have permanentely. Also Ember converts up to X% of incoming damage into a new stack system called OVERHEAT. While having Overheat stacks, Ember deals +X% more fire damage and fire procs caused by her have X% increased duration. When reaching maximum overheat effect, Ember can press Fiery Form to burn away all of her energy to deal massive fire damage in a wide area and knocking down enemies nearby.

The Goal?
Instead of being a semi-afk Ember this new approach will make Ember an aggressive firestarter with lots of high-intensity burning attacks. She will also have some decent damage-reduction for higher levels. Instead of a the old World on Fire, you will now get a running napalm bomb able to go off any time. Also she gets some nice synergies between her skills which are currently not present and she will be able to use channeled skills similar to Hydroid.

The changes sound really cool and all, especially fiery phoenix form...

 but... What in this kit, would help her lack of ability to survive in higher lvls? If anything, removing WoF altogether (without adding a new ability to help her survive better) would make it even worse than it is now.

Agreed. Maybe adding a rebirth mechanic while the Phoenix Avatar is toggled can help with that. For example:

Fatal damage taken while in Phoenix Avatar causes Ember to be "reborn." The first "rebirth" gives Ember invulnerability for max duration and applies one stack of rebirth sickness. Each stack of rebirth sickness cuts the invuln duration in half each time.
