Ddc_cl Posted April 19, 2018 Share Posted April 19, 2018 (edited) Hio Warframe Forum Peeps, Here i come with a Warframe Concept, that come to my mind some weeks ago (if there aready a Sniper Warframe would be glad to be Redirected to It ID) The main Concept of Mosin, is Based on some of my favorite game style on warframe and game in general, being a sniper and that "No cover is save" (AKA: Punch through BABY :P) Also to be a Warframe Related to Primary weapons a Challenge that i have with this warframe is make a ballance on his abilities for being used on Free Roam maps(Eidolon) and the normal Corridor Crawling of the usual tilesets Name: Mosin (For Mosin Nagant) Stats: Health: 80 Shield: 75 Armor: 70 Energy: 150 Run Speed: 1.2 Abilities: Passive Weapon specialist: Depending of the primary weapon Type and to certain condition, Mosin gonna have a Buff related (Similar to mesa buff with secondary) Sniper Rifle: +30% Scope bonus(or +30% Crit Bonus) when Crouch Assault Rifle: +0.5m Punch through When Shoot Aiming Bows: +25% Projectile speed when Still Shotguns: -30 spread when shoot Aiming 1 Mark: +1/1.5/2/2.5m of Punch through to mosin and allies and mark enemies through cover and walls on an area of 20/50/80/100 (one room and half, aprox) 2 Ambush: Mosin leave a trap that stagger enemies for 3/6/9/12s and increase incoming weapon damage by 10/20/30/40% 3 eagle Nest: Mosin make himself and his allies in a area of 1/2/3/4 m invisible and inmovible when they Crouch, silence weapons and buff damage. Artekkor Posted April 19, 2018 Share Posted April 19, 2018 Passive makes sense and is perfect for gunman-type. 1st ability... The idea of punch through +2 wallhack is nice, but the radius is too big and should be at least halved. 2nd ambility is nice but i think what should be done is for the mine/trap to be activated manually by the player and it should force-proc bleed + blast on the enemies around it working like a brutal proximity mine. 3rd skill also makes sense, but not sure about its usefulness. We have ivara already and bonus accuracy is useless for the most part since spray and pray is the most used playstyle. Now if it allowed to deal bonus damage while in the area (its a 3rd ability after all) and ALSO make the shots silent - that would be much cooler and useful. 4th skill... Omega_DarkPotato Posted April 23, 2018 Share Posted April 23, 2018 So you're telling me that you want to take mesa's 4 and make it your four, make a S#&$tier ivara invisibility arrow your 3, (It's like limbo, but worse, considering you make your allies immobile too.) a boosted vauban concussion grenade your 2? His 1 sounds interesting, but it's essentially just a Zenith, in the form of a castable power. I don't see very much use for it however, considering that the difference between shooting someone behind a wall and just going around that wall/door to shoot them there is pretty small. Warframes have high enough mobility I don't think this would be necessary, and the only use I could see out of his 1 would just be highlighting enemies to make them easier to see.
