MY FRIEND GOT SCAMMED

so one of my friends tried to buy PLAT OFF A guy I STOP HIM JUST IN TIME so he didn't get anything BUT he sent a 30$ code to the guy and now the balance is empty could he report the guy and try to get him banned or would he also get banned?

 

so what i want answered is 

1.if I helped him report would HE get banned also?

2.WOULD DE even ban the guy? cuz i have decent amount of proof he got the card

I'm assuming this is paying another player to give you their platinum.... eh... technically they'd both get banned. You're not supposed to be trading IRL money for plat between players

Trading Platinum for anything other than game items is a bannable offense my good sir, to put it, your friend and the person trading with him can be subjected to such.

Technically, your friend and the other person are likely to get banned since both of them went against the Terms of Service. Not really much you can do, they both went against the rules, they’ll likely get banned for doing so.

How is that if you know someone personal and you just make a deal of: "Hey you need plat i got 40 % off and wanted to buy some plat anyways, so its like you got the deal yourself, what do you say?" also ban worthy?

DE doesn't like you splitting coupons. Also doesn't like you having multiple accounts to take advantage of said coupons. Both are bannable.
