As much as I hate to say it, kunai wins.

Personally, I prefer the Vasto. But I've always been partial to revolvers. If I'm not mistaken, and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but i believe the vasto has higher damage and crit rate and reloads almost as fast. Vasto's bullets also don't have travel time and can be very precise despite the recoil.

 Vasto will still outperform any rifle in the game due to superiority of the Pistol mods. So you don't "have" to go with the Kunai if you love the cowboy pistol.

Well we all know despair is better, i got dedpair and vasto. At low lvl i found them pretty much equal, but at higher armor ignore is very valuable. Id say get despair and vasto, not the kunai. Msg posted from my phone.

I have the Vasto and Despair, and I really like them both. I think the despair are better, but only in certain conditions. At long range, the Vasto's perfect accuracy pretty much wins hands-down. Plus, just having a six-shooter as a space ninja is just plain awesome.

of course the kunai would win (as always) right now no standard pistol will ever compare. its kinda a big issue

I think Kunai or Hikou is the way to go, unless you can't build a n Acrid.

I would just like to point out that as of livestream 12 they did confirm they are working on re-balancing the armor issue. If the kunai's AI is all you're basing this decision on then I'd suggest you wait to see how they handle to armor problem.

In my oppinion, the Kunai is one of the strongest secondary weapons.

While the Vasto is the most stylish weapon (strong too, but I guess the Kunai is a little bit more stronger).

I also have the despair and vasto at 30 they both do very good damage but i think the pistol wins but not by much,

bullets travel in a straight line and hit the target faster at distance, but at the end of the day it's what you prefer, they are both very good.

Both are VERY good weapons.

 

If you're good at aiming, Vasto is probably just as good or even better than Kunai.

also like many mentiond the kunai wins in many things, but if you have good aim and shot weakspots with a crit build you can easly bring them to T3 Void Def or xini wave 30~40

Despair's innate AP damage does not have armor applied to its calculation. Despair is statistically better than Kunai except on the condition of light infested (like we have trouble killing them anyway) due to 50% AP resistance.
