Nekros "Desecrate" and Farming

Question

So Nekros desecrate no longer stacks on Vodyanoi for Endo Farming. But for some reason people prefer a 3 Nekros team with Nidus over anything else (ex. Pilfdroid) and from personal experience I can confirm that 3 Nekros still have bigger Endo drop chance than any other combination. Fact or it's just simply RNG? Anyone can explainhow this works now?

And one more thing. Does this also apply to Orokin Cell farm? We used to use Nekros, Nova, Pilfdroid and whatever else and some people want to go with 3 Nekros and 1 Nova. Here again, actual experience with a 910 hours mighty 'veteran' of the game telling me that he knows better 😂 leaving the group. Was he right or wrong though?

Well - sometimes a body can vanish before nekros dessicrates - so having more than one increases the chance that every last body part is milked.

That said, he probably just watched that grind hard squad video and is a copy monkey who didn't stay in a holiday inn last night, but learned all he needs to on the interwebs.

That's all for Endo Farming, actually. Simply more Nekros = more coverage.

But isn't Desecrate affected by range mobs?? How can a body simply vanish without it desecrating if it's within range? Or it's about the 50% chance to desecrate so adding 3 Nekros gives you 2 extra shots at this? Why do they say it doesn't stack then?

Desocrate = 54% chance of extra loot from body parts.   Multiple Nekros is probably just to ensure the extra loot drops.  Its like popping relics.  You take 4 of the same to max out the odds of ONE dropping the part u want.     Hydroid is 100% but the stuff has to be in the tentacles, and the tentacles only grab so many enemies, and the AOE is small, and they suck down a ton of energy and unless your x4 hydroid just standing there letting tentecles kill stuff is boring as @$^$

The other thing that could be coming into play here is Desocrate has a chance of making every BODY PART drop loot Vs Hydroid who probably just works on the enemy as a whole???  So if you blender enemies with multiple nekros then You could definately see more loot.....

It does not stack. Nekros always rerolls the loot table, which drops items based on its own chance. The 54% is for a health orb to drop.

As far as I've learned from other posts it's not neccessary that the enemies die by the tentacles but while they are trapped in them.

Yeah i can confirm that you just have to let the tentacles grab. Kill is not needed

So a good setup would be 3 Nekros 1 Hydroid , 2 Nekros 1 Nova 1 Hydroid or 3 Nekros 1 Nova?

Asking about orokin cell farm since in Endo farm a 3 Nekros team is the best so far.

For Orokin Cell, if you camp, one Hydroid, one Nek and one Speed Nova. Just funnel the enemies into a choke point that is covered with tentacles. If you do not plan on camping, just take 2 Hydroids and 2 Nek to cover as much ground as possible (each pair just works as a team.)

I haven't really tried a dedicated squad (no, just Hydroid + Nek in a two person survival) but anything other than a Hydroid and Nekros in resource farming is quite pointless unless the spawns are very far.
