  1. It is very frustrating that they don't have the time to fix the old content with minor issues.

     

    Nova prime's help glitches when you aim.

     

    The Serro's animation glitches when it's equipped

     

    One of the utility clips on Ivara's hood was improperly placed so that it sits outside the hood instead of being part of it, but I haven't even bothered reporting that because I know it's so small that DE has to focus on a million other things first.

     

    It would be nice if they took one hotfix just to go and fix all the little things, but I doubt it.

     

    On the bright side, Warframe's game-ruining glitches are far lower now than ever (from my experience) and there's actually less in warframe than in any other game I play now (again from my experience).

     

    Finishers no longer get you stuck in walls when you use them in weird positions, and the game isn't constantly crashing (at least for me). Not to mention that DE has been pretty good with making sure warframe can run on lower-end machines.

     

    So to answer the question, yes, things do get fixed. It's just the major things, which we unfortunately take for granted.

  2. yeah, it's a pain - especially when you want to have it perfect with two or more fully maxed Primed Mods of the same type. i've gone through this trouble and now have perfect Pistols & Prisma Burst Laser at the same time with me - and while i'm happy with the accomplishment it still prevents me from putting a non Pistol based Weapon into my Sentinel as i would have to farm and max all Mods for it anew. 

     

    i hear DE stated that they want to reduce the Grind but have failed big-time with that? well, there's a perfect opportunity to reduce the Grind right here - let Sentinel Weapons use Mods regardless of if you have them equipped on a Weapon you're carrying at a time or not. 

     

    otherwise, well - i'm fine with the current system as well, as i'm a Beast at boring and repetitive farming & grinding to the extreme. but i suggest that this is really not the way Warframe should be everywhere and that it's a very big pain to other Players who ain't as lifeless as me... . 

     

         I personally don't care about the grind, it's what lets me play this game so much without getting bored, but this isn't just grind. To me, grind is doing the same thing repetitively to get to the next stage/unlock the something new. This is working hard to perform the same task again for a reason that shouldn't exist (imo) in the first place. No offense to DE but it feels like a big "F you!" to me. I've been playing a lot longer than I've been on the forums and this is far from the first time I've tried to use sentinel weapons, but unfortunately for me I always forget about this restriction and then rage about it when I remember it. XD

     

         But yeah it seems like a lot of people get around this by making two of every mod, but in some cases, like event mods, this can be extremely difficult to do.

     

         I think it would be great if they removed the restriction and allowed the player to un-max (and regain their fusion cores) of any duplicate mods, for something like 1 week after they next log in (after login because they might not be able to take advantage of this if it's a set week)

    Actually people use 2 right now, energy siphon and corrosive projection.

     

    if we made energy siphon unnecessary, it would just be one....

     

    Now, if DE made this change AND got around to making armor able to be shot off like they said they would do, then we'd be getting somewhere...

  4. Considering I've unlocked them all, I can officially say that only two of them have universally good uses and the other 3 are all niche with some ranging from barely niche to SUPER niche.

     

         Yeah I originally was gonna go into detail about how they're not balanced well, but most of it was based on my friends and clanmates experience and what I know about the abilities so i figured I should just leave it out.

     

    Zenurik 4 energy per second? That's gunna get nerfed. I can see it a mile away but I still want it.

     

         I disagree, it's not like you press 5 then spam for the rest of the game, channeled abilities turn off the regen and you'd be surprised how much it limits you. The regen is basically useless if you want to stay alive as ivara in a high level void (you need to use prowl which is channeled) but I guess you could sit in one spot and spam stealth arrows too...but still, most frames now either have channeled abilities or don't benefit that much from ability spamming 

     

    Personally the part that annoys me the most and have no idea how someone could approve it are the skills which have negative effects on your team. Can't wait to have my shields reduced, get killed because of it, be instantly revived to be viral procced and get instakilled after, then get insta revived again only to be magnetic procced and die again because I had no energy to use powers and defend myself...

     

    Having other players reduce allied stats is never a good idea. It promotes trolling...

     

         Not only that but the trade offs are unfair, 95% chance to be mag and viral procced? are you kidding me?

     

    The problem is that the buffs are, for the most part, permanent. That 4 minute cooldown doesn't matter when you cast it once and the next 36 minutes of your survival run include you getting constant invisibility refreshment from taking that War and destroying everything in your path.

     

    The only way you can even justify saying anything about the 4 minute cooldown, in regard to the passives, is if the passives are a temporary buff, not a permanent one. Cooldown becomes a non-issue when they last forever once it's used a single time.

     

    I actually kinda like that idea for Zenurik, although the regen should be higher then or something (and not stack). One of the problems with the zenurik tree is directly opposite from the permanent 4 eps regen is a bubble that regens 2 energy per second for 12 seconds after your ability ends....12 seconds....2 energy per second....for my 4 minute-cooldown ability, I get....almost a full energy orb...wow I'm so lucky, it must be my birthday...

  5.      First I'd like to say that this is all my opinion, and I don't mean to offend or provoke anyone with it.

     

         My thoughts on focus? great Idea, I love it, but seriously the balance on it is terrible, not only between the different focuses but between the different focus trees; basically, "passive" means that this is the best stuff in the focus school, and all the other stuff ranges from meh to "why would anyone want that" for example, in the Zenurik tree, 'time stream' can reduce your shields by 75% and boost your speed by 20% at the lowest rank, but at the highest? reduce shields by 39% (according to the wiki) and still only boost speed by 20% (according to the wiki). This means that you're effectively lowering your shields to almost half in order to get a speed boost that's not even half as good as volt's speed.... and to top it off THERE'S ONLY A 50% CHANCE FOR IT TO HAPPEN. So while you could be getting a power efficiency bonus down in the passives tree, you're wasting your time on a crap ability that has the same chance of even working as you getting heads on a coin toss....

     

         I don't have enough experience with the specific trees, but from what my friends and clanmates have said, the balance between trees is terrible.

     

         Thanks for taking the time to read this, again, I'm not trying to offend or bash, just being honest from my experiences. Also, I really hope DE doesn't decide to go the nerf route and instead decides to just buff the non-passives a ton.

  6. IDK about Enjoying the grind. My friend and I exclusively did T3 Survival to get the ASH  P part and the Volt P Part. Well its been well over 6 hours worth of strict T3 survival. We got one of the parts. This game is a huge time sink. One part? The game just feels insanely greedy whether its random or not. It also feels like DE has not constantly step in and create obstacles like lowering EXP or Focus gain. I've invested more than my fair share into this game. The least you can do is just make the drops a little more fair.

     

         Sure, you don't technically enjoy the grind itself, just like no one enjoys excersizing, but after those 6 hours, 12 hours, hell, 30 hours of farming, getting the part feels SO MUCH BETTER. The feeling of achievement is what makes this game great. Trust me, if they made this game easy to farm in, it would suck, and I wouldn't have put 2.5 thousand hours of fun into it.

     

         I know what it's like to lay around and have everything come to you easily. Too familiar with it than I'd like to be, and trust me, it's a nice fantasy, terrible reality.

So i  come back in warframe after a long term hiatus to do the new main quests and see whats new in the game.So i completed the quests (good job on the new storyline DE, i was a fan of it :D)and played for a few more days to gather some new weps and  collect the new synthesis targets and also do some void missions to see if they changed anything, from the encounterable enemies to the drop table itself.

     

     oh how wrong i was.

    i picked 2 more ppl from recruit chat and spent my 4 last  dust-collecting t3-t4 cap void keys hunting for the synthesis targets but also hoping for some good drops after the mission.

     

    3 form blueprints and 5 fusion cores it was.

    So i complained at the end and the dudes/gals who where with me also agreed that after all these months of complaining from the other players of warframe DE still continues to keep this grindfest  and still add more to it(from sorties to more sh*t void drop tables)

    And before you say "pay up then sucker", i waited for this past week for a 75% or even 50%  gotl so that the plat prices can become affordable for the bazzilion of buyable things that DE now offers in game but nop.

    "huuurrr duurr its a free gamee it must be supported by suckers players like us" well you see I WANT TO SUPPORT IT  but will DE make it easy for me?

     

    I dare say that i would prefer if this game had a monthly subscription than this "free-to-play"  or more like free-to-try 

    theme (and this especially applies for new players).

     

    ps: those who still say the loot table is rng based are ignorant idiots or failtrolls.

     

         First: you realize this game is nothing without the grind....it would take all of 5 minutes to beat...we all need to come clean and admit that we enjoy the grind; within the endless grind lies a destination, and the harder it is to reach that destination, the better it feels.

     

         You're truly ignorant if you think that warframe is a try-for-free game. Warframe is the only popular ACTUAL free to play game. Everything in it can be achieved through grinding. Go play another "F2P" game. Sure, you'll be able to play it, but everything good will be locked behind a paywall.

     

         No one said you had to use a discount to support the game, and in fact using a discount means you're supporting it less, not just "easier for you"

     

         Not rng...that sounds like a conspiracy theory, would you like to expand on that? Also, you clearly do not understand theoretical vs experimental probabilty, so I'll explain it for you, lets say a void table has a chance to drop a forma, void key, or prime part, I won't specify because it doesn't matter, lets just say they have equal chances to drop.

    unfortunately for you, rng picks a number at random, giving you your experimental probability.

     

    theoretically, you would get one of each, but that's actually very uncommon.

  8. I didn't mean colour combinations that I personally don't like.  I meant colour combinations that just don't work as intended as one colour drives out the other or what should be a blend ends up just being half and half.

     

    For example I'd like to use my Prisma Hecate Syandana but the colours I want to use for my Primed Eos armour make it lkook terrible.  Not because of how the colours look together but because the effect just doesn't work as intended (or maybe it's a bug, either way it looks bad right now).  See pic below with black panels with tiny white corners and almost no blend from one to the other.

    Scratch that.  On further inspection it seems that the black areas are actually not colourable so it has nothing to do with the black/white combination I'm using and is just that the Prisma Hecate is broken.

     

         Oh whoa whoa, that's actually a completely different thing that I agree, is irritating.

     

    From what you said I'm getting you're talking about the stupid gray lines that appear between darker colors? I hate those too :/

    luckily is seems the new frames with pbr don't have them as much :D

     

    But yeah I don't want that either.

I like the small amounts of different colours mixed through the Phased Asa so I'd like it to sty as is unless DE can somehow maintain the subtle blending of multiple colours while also making them customisable.  They've recently done a lot of two colour blends which can look good but their effect can still look bad with certain colours.

     

    I agree, i like this too, but the thing is, we have 5 different color slots and 99% of the phased skins are made up of these patterns, DE's not a noob company, they know what they're doing with this stuff, and I have no doubt they can make every different color in it customizable.

     

    Also, no matter what you do there's always gonna be a color combo that's ugly. the people who like that can choose it, and the people who don't can color it their way. Win win! the only way any of us can lose is when DE makes something that's completely uncustomizable

  10.      I know they came out a long time ago, but please, they're a moving energy pattern, we have many things like them now, as opposed to when they came out.

     

         I recently bought the phased asa skin on steam because I thought it looked cooler than the normal one only to find out that its not colorable and looks odd on all my frames.

     

         it makes sense that rubedo skins are red, because rubedo is red, but I don't see why phased skins shouldn't be colorable; they're energy, and we all know how colorable energy is in this game :D (frames like nova really show this)

They reset the sorties because they added the new frame as rewards so people could do them again today but they screwed all of us over that were in the middle of doing our sorties.  We were on the 3rd one and now we have to start all over while people that did the earlier today get to do them again for a SECOND reward.

     

         Yeah, I just looked back in game to see the red text. This is ridiculous though. I have to restart my FIRST SORTIE, so that other people can have a second sortie. I realize they needed a quick fix to how people wanted to be able to redo it for their nezha part, but this created a massive injustice, I was on the last one too :/

  12. I was on the last mission, duo with a friend, it took us like 45 minutes...just to have to do it again....so that people can do it again...while I have to put in twice the effort for one reward...

     

    DE, could I please have 2 rewards for this sortie or something? :/

  13. This thread should not have 35 replies, the OP is misinformed in what he/she is complaining about.

     

    There are different stats for pvp abilities than pve abilities. This has been a thing since PvP 2.0. DE does not have to change one to change the other.

     

         People don't like the invincibility because it removes a way of interacting with the world. It makes it not fun because you can just go godmode and never worry about anything. On top of that, valkyr was never supposed to be a tank, she's a berzerker. Imo she needs less defense and more offense, that's what a berzerker is. idc about conclave personally and idc what happens to her in pvp, but in pve hysteria needs some tweaking imo.

  14. It's actually quite the contrary. She is AMAZING in teams, offers a very strong damage buff that also has potential to buff powers and has CC that is able to lock down the entire battlefield. The only thing she rly misses and what makes her inferior to other frames is usefull ACTIVE CC.

    Beein able to play her comes down to hiding behind teams or abusing mechanics by completely screwing her kit(-duration, silence spam), what's just a waste of her potential.

    Nova on the other side is able to benefit from her CC as well, not only in solo play but also in groups. "Missing defense" is just wrong. She is able to slow and aggro enemys, what's plenty.

     

         Uhh, no. I stand by what I said about her having a no defense. In a t4 mission, it doesn't take much to down her, even with max slow she's still very weak defensively. just try soloing a t4i with nova, you'll see what I mean, then try doing it with a full team, even a team of something with terrible coop play, like valkyr, ash, or wukong. Solo, nova is quite balanced, while on a team, a nova can be invaluable. That's what I'm trying to say. I'm not saying she's underpowered at all, just that she's a glass cannon.

  15. please DE, do not rework banshee just because she was simply the least used warframe of 2015

     

    the reason she is the least used is not because there is anything wrong with her current state but because players are not good enough to use her effectively 

     

    its not banshees fault people dont know how to play her correctly, its just a reflection she is not for everybody 

    and even if she is the least popular so what ? its ok to have a higher skill ceiling warframe for more advanced players to utilize 

     

    in fact quite the opposite, she is one of the best balanced warframes in the game at the moment and her skill set is almost perfect except for a couple of specific things

    dont fix something that aint broke 

     

    she actually plays best aggressively, high risk & reward, punishing mistakes which makes you careful and calculating - this makes her more engaging than other warframes 

     

    so please by all means do go ahead and tweak her, rework soundquake, give sonic boom and silence some QoL, give her a nice passive, enhance her ability to support or maybe some slight more durability etc but dont completely rework her just because shes not the popular kid 

     

    excalibur - easy mode ult spam frame

    loki - invisible easy mode cheese frame

    rhino - easy mode easy to play swiss army knife frame

     

    they are the top 3 because of 1 reason - people will always choose the path of least resistance to grind thru content in the game and those 3 appeal to the average player for that person

     

    is it really so wrong for banshee to be more difficult and less popular ?? that doesnt mean there is actually something wrong with her, its just a symptom of average players making average choices 

     

    i main banshee so am fully qualified to assess her in the current environment - she performs very well, overall balanced and enjoyable to play, please dont ruin her just because of player usage stats

    I don't know about this. Something people commonly forget about when they think of balance is teamplay. Sure, when you solo with her she seems well balanced, but I could say the same about nova. nova is balanced in solo because she doesn't have any defense, but in a team she's op because her allies can benefit from m prime and add that to their already (probably, depending on the frame) sufficient defensive and offensive abilities.

    You might be "qualified" but since you main her that also makes you subject to bias.

     

     

         I'm just pointing out logical errors, no offense. I personally don't use her, I don't even have her. I don't use her because imo she's the ugliest frame in existence though, it has nothing to do with her abilities which i actually think I might like. I was waiting for a prime though, hoping they would scrap those ugly feet >.<

     

         If it helps anything, I think I would like her abilities if I used them.

    There is nothing that Limbo is capable of that other frames cannot do with less restrictions and does not hinder thier allies in anyway. Limbo's takes a sharp learning curve because he's very poorly designed, his rift has far too many restrictions to be useful. Banishing allies removes their choice to use thier weapons and rely solely on thier abilities rolling out of it removes the supposed benefit the rift gives you.

     

    His skills are extremely binary (revolving in either putting himself, allies or enemies in the rift) with 3 abilities performing the same function which is dragging enemies into the rift. The only other ability is Rift surge which only applies to himself, meaning even less team cohesion. Even within his own plane enemies can kill him as easily as they can in the psychical plane. He is squishy, has little durability, even within his own realm and the effort he takes is frankly not anywhere proportionate to his payout.

     

    He's bad.

         Yes, it is. Fun factor should not be used to defend a lack of viability. Viability is more important than fun factor for multiple reasons I don't really want to go into.

     

         Also, to reply to what you said earlier, it's ironic how you refer to yourself as "us older guys" because

     

    A: it makes you sound like an old man 

     

    B: your "short hand" makes you sound like a 10 year old, which given the fact that you deliberately referred to yourself as "older" makes me think you're actually around 13, maybe just past your 14th birthday and thinking you're the kind of the world because of it.

     

         Additionally, you go on to assume that I'd be offended, which I'm not. I really enjoyed limbo, but it's irritating how he comes up short in everything he's supposed to be good at. He might be fun, but he sucks, and I think it's far more important for a frame to be viable than fun (although his fun-ness should be preserved.)

     

         It's like playing a game where you get cool powers, but it's so hard it's unplayable. That's where limbo is right now. You can sit around saying he's "advanced" all day, but he still sucks.

    Anyway, I do enjoy limbo, except for how he's absolutely horrible at what he's for: "dividing and conquering enemies in the rift"

     

         You confusing weak with difficult to learn. He makes you "think outside of the box" because he's absolutely horrible and requires you to use the games mechanics to stay alive rather than the warframe's skills like most frames. The only way to stay alive with him is either isolating YOURSELF (LOL divide and conquer, good one) in the rift, or using cover and evasions. 

     

         Mostly why I say I want a full rework is that that people like you, oblivious of where limbo really stands, see my desire for him as a full rework, BECAUSE IT ACTUALLY MAKES HIM GOOD.

     

         Rereading this, I realize it's quite hostile. I don't think I want to change that though, you had the audacity to call me unimaginative in a post that disgraces the English language, and that really pissed me off.

    Mirage? You-- are you referring to total eclipse?! That augment is just as much of a joke as Chroma being a team player (Literally. They have the same issues.)


    Although still, being a good recipient still doesn't make him acceptable in a close team and he's still not prefereble to say, a slow nova.


     


    - Because it isolates you from danger that might have killed you. You can sit in it and recharge energy. You can sit in it and get a better position.


     


    But so does invisibility, smokescreen, and even riftwalk, which boosts energy regen.


    Additionally, although hysteria drains energy, it does allow lots of killing and the player to pickup energy, unlike cloud walker. Not to mention it has no duration now and can be used infinitely...


     


    - Cloud Walker is not a toggle drain ability.


     


    Yeah, I know, but you wanted it to be. I was just pointing out that if it became one, it would already make him immune to energy drain eximus.


     


    - Valkyr is locked to close range melee only.


     


    As is Wukong with primal fury active


     


    -Excal used to be better until he had his godmode block taken away.


    Think excalibur with rblind and exalted blade together. That is the damage that Wukong is doing while being impeccable to damage, and still having an escape power that he does not even need often.


     


    But to use that damage he's locked to melee, unlike Excal. Excal also has a quick escape ability, radial blind, except his makes enemies vulnerable to finishers for a much longer period of time, and doesn't restrict his movement at all, even when casting.


     


    Also I'd like to say I own Wukong too, I do have my own experience playing as him.

    As you can see, there are quick easy changes that can make limbo greater using just QoL changes. These are both well thought out and great ideas. Why not keep the moveset and just update them with QoL buffs?

     

         Because Limbo's function currently is about isolating and taking down groups and heavy targets. The problem is, for some reason, people think that limbo actually being STRONG in the rift would be op. I've made many threads about limbo, a most of them, as I recall, wanting to keep everything but rift surge (which seriously should just be a passive of the rift. Yes, the rift, not limbo.)

     

         Honestly the only thing that I don't like about limbo is that he doesn't follow through where it says he should. He's supposed to be able to divide and conquer in the rift, but he just CAN'T. He's weak in the rift and a pleb outside of the rift (although i think it should be that way)

     

         I've told people what I think would be good for him before. I'll simplify it:

     

         All around MUCH faster casting, and rift walk loses it's cast animation altogether, to make it like volt's speed. Cataclysm sends items to the void too, allowing pickup, but still restricting it during riftwalk. Cataclysm gets lowered energy consumption, to 50%. Just because it's a fourth ability doesn't mean it should suck up all your energy. Cataclysm isn't really an 'ultimate' ability, so i don't think it should suck up energy like one. rift surge should be a passive of the void (as i said before) and I think that limbo should receive damage resistance inside the void, probably 75%. and then he should get a new #3 ability, hopefully something that uses levitation, something that he CAN do, but for some reason wasn't put in his ability set. (DE why? D:)

     

        *sigh*, explaining why I think this...AGAIN...

     

         It would make him still pretty bad outside the void, but then, inside the void, he would become a complete monster, able to shred through the toughest of crowds with ease. He might need some tweaking afterwards, maybe a smaller cata or something, but I think this would give him a place next to our other good frames, like frost and loki.

  20. Apparently, the Cloud Walker issues are related to colliding with your Sentinel.

     

    Hmm, thanks, I'll try that, I hope it gets fixed though.

     

    i have noticed with cloud walker if you "fly" of a edge you can go up and down verticly

     

    yeah you can do that on occasion any time.
