So i want to know how to farm vor to get the sword he has, how do i do it?

You kill him, he has a chance to drop it. If you aren't rewarded the Cronus at the end of the mission, you go back to that node and kill him again, rinse repeat until you get it.

Sure, I can give it a try.

Lets start with Overwolf Applications, like AlecaFrame.
AlecaFrame takes the data that Overwolf provides to give you a nice Interface with all your Account data, like Mastery and Inventory.
Overwolf gets that data by literally hooking into the game, just like a cheat would.
Hooking into the game means, that it manipulates the running Game, to change its behaviour, in this case its making the game spit out Information on certain Events, like when Extracting or when loading into the Game.

The Issue with Overwolf is, that the End-user, meaning me and you, who might be using it, wont know what exactly it does. So it might hook into stuff like Drop-chances and change it without our notice and DE could detect that and give a penalty.

Ofcourse Overwolf will not do that kind of stuff (most likely), but its an example.

To prevent this, my suggestion was to make a log file available that gives the Information, that normally would be aquired using Overwolf.
A Log file is just a Textfile which is being constantly updated while the Game is running with current events.
Currently you can look into the EE.log, which you can find under C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Loical\Warframe and read a lot of interesting stuff out of this.

if you know Eidolons in Warframe and about the Community trying hard to farm them efficiently, they have a Analyzers that use that EE.log to analyze their runs.
They can see when they made how much progress, where they lost a lot of time etc. and thats all thanks to a single Log file.
Idalon allows you to upload the ee.log and to inspect it for your time, while Yate will inform you about your times in realtime.

Using a log file is not risky, as it is just a Textfile you are reading, which is Absolutely OK and cannot be considered a cheat unlike Overwolf.

Analyzing such a Textfile is pretty easy, especially if, like presented in the Original Post, you give each line inside the log a special tag, showing the type of information it is representing. ( [Inventory], [Mastery]... )

I hope this helps you understand my Post more.

This sounds like a great idea tbh! Are thke mentioned mods safe though, (I know it's only tangentially related)? Alecaframe seems to be.

    @Mr.SpookSpook @SpicyDinosaur
I want this post to stay on Topic, so i would appreciate you not to fight over trivial stuff in Feedback posts.
    Nothing personal.
The post is not about an In-game feature nor the UI its about the alternative for Overwolf features, which currently could technically be detected as a Cheat.
While DE does not have to tolerate it, they still do, so thats to appreciate.
Having better UI in the Game will not be the same as having a Companion Application on the second Monitor with information about your Inventory, mastery etc.

There is a lot of passionate programmers that would love to make some third party software using legitimate methods, once those are provided. Hence I made the Suggestion of the Log System, which even is already in place using the EE.log.
EE.log is lacking all the in the Original post named Informations, which would allow for companion apps to run without Overwolf, hence without running into the Risk of getting detected as a cheat by accident.

okay, I admit to being ignorant on the issue. Is there a way you could dumb it down a bit?

I think Ivara is awesome, one of my top played frames but isn't a great choice for a new player who probably won't have the mods and energy economy to make her work, also 100+spies is not the average your BF got unlucky, it happens.

if you think ivara is easier to farm than titania you never farmed titania, I would rather spam spy misisons for an hour (which you can do really fast with titania) than I would wait 4 hours for the day night cycles to change so I can brew one potion only to need the day night cycles to change again so I can brew another which only happens every 4 hours and while it can be night on cetus earth ,it can be day on earth.. prime?, you have to go to a whole other website to find that out !! and you do that all to find finding a flower that only grows and can be found on a single defense map sometimes once that you will have to keep running just to scan xD

soo timesave skipping on the potion herb collecting by choosing Titania, use Titania to speed run spy to unlock Ivara!

so that in mind, Ivara is a grind, titania is a slog, choose which you want, rotation will eventually come around again anyway

A lot of people are unlucky, that's why it is called luck. But dealing with RNG for planets you may not have unlocked for awhile versus assured quest frames... I don't know, seems like you shouldn't be targeting newbies to advise them not to get something that can be that difficult to obtain is comparison to the others. Especially if people are supposed to be able to choose whatever they want. Making it seem like it's absolutely urgent that they don't choose Ivara is sort of making the choice for them.

As for Earth plants, I can't think of a single plant (and I could be wrong about this) that only grows on the Earth defense. Not one. That aside, opening up a website briefly, checking time until whatever time you are after, and setting an alarm isn't nearly as hard as running spy missions over and over until your eyes bleed.

You're just immensely wrong and it was irresponsible to make this topic in the first place.

probably don't pick Ivara, she is pretty easy to farm you just have todo lots of spy missions, though she is a pretty solid fun frame.

Inaros is a maybe, he is kinda dull but an ok tank at easier content if you build him right, normally locked behind a really cool quest but the quest that is also locked behind Baro/ducats so if you like the idea of him possibly a pick.

I would probably tell new players to go for Titania, her whole quest line has you running around for herbs to craft potions some of them only grow at specific times of day. all of them needing scanners to collect, day night cycles on regular missions are different to the day night cycles of cetus because reasons!! I would recommend new players go for her just due to how much of a pain she is to quire!

overall think Titania is the pick though aimed with knowledge really probably go for which ever you think you would enjoy!

lol wut? Ivara is probably the best to pick out of the choices. My boyfriend had to do like 100+ spies to get all the parts. He refused to do any spies after that for the rest of the time he still played.

Yes. Gloom with min drain is, as I mentioned in my post, important. Especially when you're running that much range.

With that much range, Gloom's drain can be significant. If/when Gloom drops or you're unable to spam avalanche (to keep icy avalanche active) you're done. Energize makes the energy management a non-issue.

The whole set up just seems redundant in multiple ways, a slow with a slow and doubling (or more depending on focus school, etc) energy conservation techniques, but since I have no experience with it, I have no further comments than that.

  7. 3 hours ago, Leqesai said:

Thats similar to my build though I go for:

    ?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Lett

Duration isn't needed. The armor strip is permanent. You just want enough duration to ensure your gloom drain is at the minimum value so the giant radius isn't impeded. Also Molt Augmented plus growing power and madurai get you to 95% slow with this setup, which when applied to enemies with cold procs results in like a 99% slow.

Larger range makes Icy avalanche significantly more useful too.

Are you overmaxing your efficiency because of gloom or are you not aware that nonchannelled abilities do not benefit from over 175% efficiency?

Either way, you can't possibly need both an arcane energize and that much efficiency. You could get rid of fleeting and still be perfectly effective.

Yep, Guardian works on Moa and Hound setups. The whiplash mine precept is insanely good on Moas and they can use Verglas, a weapon that just absolutely melts everything it hits while quickly ramping up procs (mine is Viral +Heat or Electric for a little extra CC).

I don't have the stamina to go for super long runs that would require shield gating for Frost. As it stands, Arcane Aegis and Arcane Grace, along with Guardian are all versions of gating that I don't have to properly time like I would with shield gating. I like this because I can focus on squad support and do fly-by Avalanches to take pressure off of them while also staying by objectives that I know my bubble is strong enough to protect until I get back.

My longest run with this setup was about 2 hours and 15 or so minutes, but we had a party to head to so I extracted before I got the "wife is pissed" stare. 😂 During that run, only the acolytes proved to be a threat if I slipped up on my Avalanche-to-Trumna grenade combo. Even then, that would only be radiation or that crazy lift-slash combo Violence does.

Okay at that long of a run I can see using rolling guard I usually only go for at most an hour because I don't have the patience for more than that. I only recently started using shield gating again, so I can see it not being effective as I was using it on Banshee who benefits from it even early on, and I've been using it on all my frames since then because it's better than having to take the key on and off. Was this SP, btw?

And yea that reminds me that I have a riven I need to roll for the verglas into something good. Now that I think about it, I was using a sentinel on Banshee for guardian, but as much as I don't really like them, a moa or hound would be better. Djinn was dead almost constantly. What do you use exactly?

The secret to Frost, IMO, is to do the opposite build you're suggesting. Instead of focusing on enhancing ability parameters, try maxing his Health, Armor and Shields and only focus on some ability strength to give Avalanche full armor strip. I believe he has the overall highest of the tri-stat survival stats in the game, with shields, armor and health all exceeding 1K each without shards so, right off the bat, his survival drastically increases.

With shards, ( Tau Azures with 4 armor and 1 health), things get...ridiculous. My Frost sits at 1,957 Armor, 1,605 Health and 1,680 shields. Combined with Arcane Aegis (or Guardian), Arcane Grace and Adaptation, no group of enemies can actually hurt him until well pass SP level 300. The extra armor tremendously boosts the Bubbles's health (mine has an initial health at 25,507.2, with help from 192% strength from the Umbra mods and Power Drift). To add insult, my pets all use the Guardian mod to instantly replenish his super high shields and, speaking of pets, all of your pets would easily exceed 1,500+ stats when using the Link Mods.

Lastly, use Archon flow, if you got it, and Corrosive projection to seal the deal with armor...although Avalanche has 115% armor stripping at 192% Power Strength.  I also flex between Carnis Carapace (+60% Armor, +90% Health) and Boreal's Hatred (+150 shields, +15% Efficiency). Normally, Carnis wouldn't enhance much but this is actually a dream mod for high health and armor frames.

In essence, Frost really does become extremely hard to kill... extremely hard. To me, his ability stats don't really need to extend beyond just having his Avalanche achieving 100% armor strip. Everything else works very well, especially with Cole's rework...which also works very well on the acolytes who hit the hardest. So far, only radiation (sigh....) and SP Circuit level 700+ dudes have managed to knock my Frost out due to carelessness.

I hope this build type can provide a new thought into Frost. He's been my main for 7 years and I've got no reason to ever bump him down. Good luck bro!!

Wait, wait, how are you using Guardian while also using Link Health though? Can Moas and Hounds use both maybe? Then you have to use those types of pets, though. 🤮

My experiences with Frost (though I don't have a Frost Prime glyph so YMMV) would definitely not be to boost shields. You don't need to abuse shield-gating with frost but it's another layer of survival. You're basically just making him into Inaros by pushing health, (though armor makes sense,) and eventually that stops being effective. Frost should already have no issue surviving, he's fairly tanky all things considered.

Rolling Guard should really only be used on frames that can't take a hit or two, and on anything else, if you need something more, adaptation is usually more effective. I don't think I have either on my Frost, and I've survived SP enough with him. Though I am not an expert.

Also, good to see I'm not the only one who has started to just dump state efficiency because there are so many ways to get energy back now. lol

It’s just really demoralizing seeing a build on YouTube with mods like primed shred, fury, sure footed, or vigor and knowing I won’t be able to have those mods for potentially YEARS. And that’s assuming I login every single day.

I feel like this system really discourages new players from committing to this game. Is there a way this length of time can be shortened or removed? Could they be tied to something different besides times one has logged in?

you don't even understand which of those mods are garbage yet. None of them are mandatory by far.  You are just getting swept up in the FOMO of it all, and probably encouraged to do so by Youtubers who just want epeen points. They aren't going to take you aside day one and hand you every item in the game. I do think there's a point to be made here, but you aren't at the stage where you should be wanting to make that point... yet.

o am I allowed to think and question stuff ?

No, never. That was the point I was making.

You still don't need more than one of each type if they are removaeble. And it would be minimal effort to get another one in case you wanted one for like the braton prime and the braton vandal.

After 1.7k forum posts you should know this forum and the wiki (and the subreddit, as well, to a great degree) are where info is obtained. That or watching the dev streams. Some stuff they put in game in the news terminal but that just links back to the forums.

Also, I didn't really scramble, just responded in exasperation after each post you made, upon learning something you didn't know, was completely negative as if DE was personally insulting you or something. And it's not that some negativity isn't justified at times with DE, but in this case your problems were being responded to with good news, and each successive response was as if DE was acting out of malice with any changes.

awsome that I need to find out about these things from the forums xD

why make it so you have to uninstall them ? why not just make them unlimited uses ?

Why would you need them to be? Or are you just looking for reasons to complain, because that's what it sounds like. You cry foul, someone notes that you are wrong and don't have to worry about the problem, and you scramble for some other thing to complain about. FFS.

Worst case scenario is something that didn't have a prime gets primed and you have to collect 20 more pathos clamps and a few resources and do 5 tiers of SP circuit. Is that really that unbearable? If so why do the content to begin with?

And considering these forums are where DE posts almost the entirety of info they give us outside of devstreams, yes, you do have to go to the forums to find things out, Satan forbid!

    I don't think so.

Yes, there are some minor bugs as always, but nothing serious or game crashing. (I play on PC in EU)
And yes, I lost some progress in SP Circuit due to the bugs, too. But that was only a few times in the early days.
This is a huge update with a ton of new stuff, this always come with some glitches.
As a veteran you know that.

    -c0y

Yea I vote for initial release RJ and also Scarlet Spear as buggiest updates. It's not the bugs with this update mostly, it's how the system handles saving progress on things like circuit.

    Hello folks!

if you aren’t familiar with the term AFAB, it stands for assigned female at birth.

I started a clan a few months ago and have almost all the research done now. I called it “Bound to the Moon,” as a reference to Lua and also to Sailor Moon.

I was originally in a male dominated clan where there was only two other AFAB members aside from myself, and they were not as active as I was.

After a very unwanted and unnecessary comment about my Mirage Prime’s “red bra”, I left the clan and made my own. It was kind of sad to leave it since I had been friends and a part of that clan for years, but the “red bra” comment was the last misogynistic comment I was going to deal with. The comments and opinions had been increasing from irritating to down right blood boiling.

I am happy to report I have made the clan level 10, and I am currently working on Dojo colors. I have quite a few done already. I plan to make this a cool, chill clan, with AFAB members only.

If anyone would be interested, you can reply here, or on PS messages.

    Thanks for reading!

Hey! I run an alliance for Leftist and queer/queer accepting clans. Though a PS clan can't officially be in my alliance since we are PC, you are welcome to join our discord and be an alliance member in spirit. Maybe we can help in other ways like getting groups and what not.

  15. I actually do have multiples of the cages, and have put them in a couple of places as well as donating to my dojo.

I had this problem buying decorations in Deimos from Grandmother for my Dormizone. I eventually got lucky for the thing I wanted, but I need to go back and farm more resources and then do it all over again for some of the underwater looking plants to make the underwater room I want to make for my dojo. But fortunately I am not decorating my dojo until I get the acceptable number of owls for my orbiter.

I'm of a mixed mind on this, it keeps people coming back, but is there really any harm in making everything available at once?
