    Hi.

I think everyone would enjoy being able to bring console progress over to the PC, and issues with that can be easily fixed.

Many console players (Including Me) always get left out while we watch how PC players enjoy quick hotfixes, better trading, and much faster updates. In fact, I have a PC, but after spending 1000 hours and around 500$ on Warframe for console, I'm not starting everything over again.

It could just be a one-time thing. When you create an account on Warframe, you have a option to copy progress from PS4, Xbox one, etc. From then on, progress won't be shared, but both accounts can still play to their heart's content. This way PC can gain more players too. I hope some staff sees this and takes this into consideration.

    Thank you for your time

    - Eben

The console companies will not let you do due to contracts, they want to keep customers, it's not even up to DE so it's pointless asking here, I don;t expect it will ever happen, the closest you might get is cross-play at some point but that also is not certain and DE have said it's not something they are looking at yet.

Crossplay/crossplateform is not happening anytime soon. Stop asking for it.

He's asking about account migration (moving your account from platform to platform), not cross-play (playing on the same server as another console or with PC players).

Have you been able to acquire pigment drops from Elite and/or Eximus enemies? They should drop the pigment related to their normal counterpart at the same % chance (it might seem like they do not drop pigments, if you're extremely unlucky).

Please let me know if you have received pigments from Elites or Eximus enemies on Orb Vallis.

    Is this still an Issue?
I've (we've) been playing in Orb Vallis for a few weeks straight now and I've received zero 01000011 Cyan Drops this year.

Do you even know what it is you are referring to or what?

What I love most about the 'Netcode issue' games have is the wiki page, it's so apt:

"Netcode is a blanket term for anything that somehow relates to networking in online games; netcode is a term most commonly used by gamers when discussing synchronization issues between clients and servers. The actual elements of a game engine that can cause so-called "netcode issues" include, among other things, latencylag compensation or the lack thereof, simulation errors, and network issues between the client and server that are completely out of the game's hands. Netcode as a term tends to be used only in the gaming community, as it is not recognized as an actual computer science term."

Seems to amount to players telling DE to "get better internet".

  4. In the space of about an hour, I ran into one major bug and 3 or 4 minor ones in the Orbiter.
Some of these have been a thing for years... Like floating armour on your operator when they are the man in the wall has been around since the War Within Quest as in the last few seconds of the video.

But as demonstrated in the video, this one seems large, doors will not open when you're in someone else's orbiter, I found I was able to bullet jump my way in to find broken models.
What is not demonstrated is that somehow a visitor can force the host into operator mode... We achieved this twice, just by pressing the operator key once my host was forced out of their frame.
From the Hosts perspective the doors open for a visitor, but then they get an invisible wall, and as shown from the visitors perspective the doors just don't open and you clip into them.

Floating Armour on 'Man in the Wall'.
Surface snap in decoration mode auto snaps to the default rotation of the object.
On your profile page, the operator will always appear as customization A to other people but your chosen cosmetics for yourself.

The gun is freaking awesome. I've seen some popular youtubers completely underestimate how powerful this gun can be, and with a riven forget about it. The secondary fire is a blast and has great CC utility. Man, I think this is my new fav.

Popular youtubers weapons evaluation is pretty poor in general unless that is specifically what they do videos on...
Most of them are good for info (compiling from dev-stream etc.)and because they are entertaining, but I can tell you that I'll never go to Shy or Potato for a weapons evaluation because frankly, I think some of their evaluations and loadouts are pretty poor. Mostly as they need to do vids on weapons as they are released and therefore they don't have time to really get to know a weapon inside and out.

While this is essentially a long shot, here is something that i thought up. I think it would be a good idea to the player base as well as the company owners to make transfers a permanent thing for the game. Having to start completely over between all platforms the game supports (PC, Switch, PS4, Xbox 1) is a huge turnoff. I am not sure how popular it would be, but i would be okay with paying a nominal fee in order to have my account transferred between all supported platforms. Obviously, you would have to agree to back track in regards to patches if you do this, but that is still worth it in my book

As stated, it's not up to DE, it's the console companies that do not allow account migration in the contracts. Because as far as they are concerned a player leaving to go to another platform is 1 less person to buy via their stores.

  7. Yeah, I have a bunch of accessory packs (I think every single armour set) but only bought Nekros Prime as a full Prime access and the Frost/Ember unvaulting. I only have 3 Prime noggles...

I really think the accessories pack should be enough to get a Prime Noggle. I am one of those people who like to collect most the WF items, but I like to ACTUALLY collect them, weapons and such I'll farm for, the special cosmetics I buy and this is how I both support a lot but still limit my spending on this game.

DE please add the Noggles to the Accessory Pack...

  8. I left the timer on the Second Vox Solaris mission (find the 4 Agents) run out, I had found 3/4 Agents at the time.
The mission did not fail me, instead, I was able to interact with the last Agent, and the mission would remain indefinitely open. Telling me to find the 4th Agent in the 'Area' and the yellow area circle active on the map with nothing to actually find.
After 10 minutes I had to just abort to Fortuna and restart.

Um... some of the amounts needed for PoE are/were just stupidly high and purely done to make people go to PoE imo.

Pretty sure the main issue was that people had compleated all the PoE content when they put the pigments in... Should be okay this time.

  10. While I like the effort to make the UI easier to navigate, I'm perplexed by what amounts to pointless additions when a much better option was available.
The specific instance I'm speaking of is the addition of the "Hide Owned" option in the Dojo Labs (and all the other places)... I see the intent, but given the typical circumstance of a player it's a completely useless addition.

I 'own' maybe 2 or 3 of the weapons from each Lab so ticking this option does essentially nothing.
Honestly, who 'owns' all the weapons in the Labs? I bet it's less than 1% of players.

Why do you bother to add this option when "Hide Mastered" is not only what you need as a player in a big weapons list but the clearly obvious choice seeing as it's directly related to levelling, which is ultimately the goal of most players who would require such an option to hide anything, in addition; 'owning' weapons takes plat (weapon slots are not unlimited), when mastering them is a part of game progression, by design adding to the options' ultimate pointlessness, as by function of the game you need to free up slots and therefore stop 'owning' the weapons, removing them from the pool of weapons this option would effect.

If you add "Hide Mastered" instead of "Hide Owned" suddenly the option actually has a use and is relevant to 95% of players as mastering is completion and most ppl will want to hide completed items.
I've Mastered every weapon (apart for the 3 new ones) in the game, if a "Hide Mastered" box existed, that would be extremely useful as I would not need to scroll through a weapons list with no apparent sorting applied to it looking for the new stuff.
One option is very useful, but DE chooses the functionally identical version of that option that is almost useless... Perplexing is what it is.
Again, I appreciate that DE is making efforts to make the UI better, but I seriously wonder if some of the devs even play WF sometimes as this seems so obvious... Yet here I am making this thread.

Asking for an in-game alert event that doesn't give any special rewards and ties into the charity is bad, how?

I'd still love to know how not getting an alert makes the event itself "extremely poorly handled", you want to go "back on topic" but you never really answered this criticism of your OP that I highlighted no less than 3 times even though it's been my main point then entire time, just because you've changed your tune over the last 4 pages dose not mean I should retract my response to this original display of unnecessary inference of inadequate or inferior show running by DE.

As far as most of us are concerned everything was awesome.
I'm not disputing that an alert event might be fine in future, but that was not your original main issue, nor does it make the presentation bad in anyway shape or form as you implied.

I just expirienced the definition of "Spiraling into a state of just going mad." today

laughing while crying, head lying on my hand in awe while my mouth is just smiling, all along with just taking a realization of what just happened with, why did this happen to me

I had 13 radiant relics for vauban chassis, I ran them in a row, not a single one was the chassis.

I follow it with running one mission immediately after with this complete random relic that came as an exceptional relic, not expecting relic, immediately after that 13 radiant relics I get a rare... mirage blueprint, and that is when my mind snapped...

I think I am dead inside

not to mention I ran 7 radiant relics for the systems and also didn't get that either

I now have no relics for either of them now and out of luck, thoughts?

    Only 7?
Mate, I've done Rad runs of 4 ppl all with Rads more than 7 times and got squat... whats that 28 misses... It happens.

Just because I make posts doesn't mean that others will. I'm looking out for them. The ones who(for whatever reason) can't or won't pay.

Just because most people think something is good, doesn't mean it can't be better.

Also the "people who pay" argument falls on deaf ears because this is about in-game events. Nowhere else. Stay on topic

At no point have I suggested anything about the people who pay should get X, I said even the people who paid seem to think it was good, your inference is a false equivalency wrapped in a red herring.

You didn't say "it could be better" you didn't say something like: 'the event was cool, but I think in future an in-game event would add to the weekend' you SAID "this event was handled extremely poorly" And the ONLY reason you have given for thinking this was that you didn't get something else for free. It's rude as hell to dismiss a weekend event set up by DE for us as poor, (which means deficient, faulty or inferior) you basically said "I don;t care what effort you put in, I didn't get a trinket, so it was crap"...

You didn't give any constructive criticism or feedback, you just inferred it was extremely unsatisfactory or inadequate due to your lack of personal gain.

As I said, this is an exercise in selfish entitlement.

You are right, but that's ultimately non-useful. You're not explaining why I'm wrong.

I'm making this thread because there's no incentive for non-paying people to care about the game.

See here is the issue, Originally your issue was that Tennocon was poorly handled for free 2 play people.
Now apparently, there is no incentive for free 2 play to care about the game...

The game is FREE, you get something for nothing, if that is your decision, but you are not satisfied with something for nothing, you need more for nothing, and if you don't get more for nothing there is no reason for you to care.

I don't think you even know what you're unhappy with, only that you're not getting more free stuff, and therefore you're just unhappy in general. A choice YOU have made BTW.

But you're still here... and you make posts... So clearly there is a reason for you to care, I would assume the entertainment of the game you get for free is the inherent value.
So if you're a free player and you value the free entertainment you are getting, and you are provided more free entertainment by way of the live stream, exactly what reason to DE have give you yet more stuff on top of your free stuff? You get free stuff ALL the time in this game, Baro brings skins, there are a slew of codes to use for free items... Why during the presentation of upcoming content do you need yet more free stuff? And if you don't get it, you're going to be annoyed and not care about the game?

You post is a exercise in selfish entitlement whether you accept that or not. Which is meaningless, which is why I respond with a meme, as the alternative is a rant on perceived entitlement by free 2 play players.

You're the only one thinking this way, everyone else, even people who paid actual physical money (like myself) think Tennocon was fantastic and we'll do it again next year. All you need to do is read the many threads praising it since it was streamed.

  16. 2 minutes ago, Felixdb said:

Meme doesn't even fit as a proper response.

    Lol what...
OP gave an opinion that the game was "Handled Extremely Poorly" for anyone not paying for the game...
And that's just, like, his opinion...

  17. well the quest we just got was first teased this time last year... Sooooo yeah.. early-mid 2019 for The New War, November-December 2018 for Fortuna.
My thought is the chronology of the presentation was a indication to the chronology of release.

Why do you think all the adults living in Fortuna the Solaris debt interment colony, all have robotic heads?

Could they be in jars somewhere, remote controlling their own bodies to make them "indoctrination" proof?

Could their own heads be collateral in their debt to the corpus, only getting them back when their debt is paid in full (never)?

Maybe is just what all the cool kids are doing these days.

Out of all the cool stuff at tennocon this is what I've been stuck thinking about; why do you think they're headless?

I imagine it's to remove individuality, make them into the faceless workers of the Corpus Empire literally.
