Update processes are different for console & PC, the latter being the testing ground where DE can fix/add/remove stuff at their leisure because they don't have to wait for certification processes.
Another thing being that Sony & MS just don't want shared accounts/crossplay because they'd lose out on revenue (MS crossplay/cross platform is for the overwhelming majority only available for games MS developed/published while for Sony it's just a general no).
Nobody wants to share the pie, do they all have their separate ones.
I'd love crossplay, but it's not gonna happen because they aren't keen on shooting themselves in foot financially.
I don't think you've really been keeping up with the gaming industry lately... Or this thread...

I think this is a side issue, deployment can be held till the slowest cert is done then all deployed at once, alternatively they go to cert with a deployment date preset with enough time so they are all easily approved before the deployment date.
If other games can do it I don;t see why DE can't. -

I think it's a little more complicated than "DE can do it if they actually want"... On a technical level they can 100%, but there are contracts with the console companies which have previously been the main issue, but as I said before, the situation has changed recently.
With the open world stuff, it was a technical difficulty, and the assumption they would not get this far, it's not really comparable to walls put up due to contract conditions enforced by larger companies. -

Until about a month or 2 ago I would have said the same, but this thing going on ATM with Fortnight and Nintendo & Microsoft teaming up to cross-play leaving Sony as the lone resistance in the face of wide ranging criticism of the company has drastically changed the situation. And WF as a co-op F2P PvE game is a prime candidate for cross-platform.

as long as I'm able/free to go back and forth when both builds are in sync. or just wait until the game is in sync with the last content the PC version added to the account.I made a comment in another post about a solution where PC players could op-in to a game install (from launcher or installation) that is the console build, originally it was so that PC and console friends could play together, but it would also work well for someone wanting to play on PC then move over to the switch when they leave the house and not require 2 accounts.
You'd just need to be content with missing out on the PC specific stuff, like the latest update.

Also Fortnite allows everyone to switch between PC and Consoles when ever you want.
Same problem as with why they don't try and catch up on the bugs before moving onto another part of the game, a stagnation in content leads to a player count drop that is seen as unacceptable.
So it will never happen, I feel my solution above would be a better option. -

Much would have preferred something more akin to a actual magicians concept. Perhaps a more angular card themed one or something like that. But so far this Limbo Deluxe looks nothing like Limbo, if you showed me that I would not be able to even guess that it was Limbo.
Since when have Deluxes ever gone with the normal flow of a frame...

Not really, the consoles are in a perpetual battle for favouritism, it affects everything they do including profit, the cooperation between Nintendo and Microsoft would absolutely be a topic of major concern in the Sony business model ATM. And I highly doubt this issue will let up as long as Nintendo and Microsoft keep releasing cross-platform games. This issue will never go away now. Sony will be chastised for it until they fold.

The issue here is the version numbers. PC can get updates at any time.
However to give updates to XBOX and PS4, the update has to be given to the respective owners and then they have to upload it.
This costs money. Thus DE only updates the bigger updates on console once the bugs have been tested on PC.If you want cross-play the versions have to match ALL the time.
It's certain to happen, now that Nintendo and Xbox have teamed up, it's really juts a matter of time till Sony cracks.

I understand that PC players get the latest updates to Warframe and we "console peasant" players get them later due to Sony's and Microsoft's certification process. Is it fair to us? Maybe.
Still, I want to be able to play with other players across all platforms. There are more PC players than there are console players, and I'd like a higher chance of joining a group on any difficult mission on the star chart, such as Hieracon (because I don't want to farm Syndicate standing and spend it on relic packs to get Axi relics). Plus, if I wanted to move to PC, my progress will be there (I don't want to start all over again).
Adding cross-platform play would also be good for Nintendo Switch players if DE decides to port the game to the Switch.
I think it should be fine to have something like an Opt-In from the PC splash screen settings and install that basically loads the console update version of the game, at least then friends from console and PC can play together.
I mean there is no real solution to mismatched versions other than PC having to wait for extra time for a release, which I do not think is a good idea as we are the test bed for bugs and the like.
I also highly doubt you'll be allowed to play your account on all devices, PS4 being able to be on the same server as an Xbox or PC player, is very different to you actually spending cash on one, then moving to another and taking all that stuff with you, I can't see Sony Agreeing to that, Particularly with Tennogen.

Allow Slots that come set with the Umbral to be forma'd back into it, only those slots though... No others.

So if i did build Kripath what would be the best grip since i don't have any of the infested grips? Also what would be the best link? I prefer crit builds but don't mind building a status build either. Basically the same question for the other 2 i listed aswell.. what would be the best grips/links for those? All replies are greatly appreciated as i'm fairly new to PoE. Thanks for your time!
