  1. I 100% agree. The current universal walking looks awkward next to the quality of all the other animations.

    My list of recommendations:

    New walking/running animation cycles.

Loop the animation cycles in random orders (So every few steps feel different, rather than the same cycle)

Add ragdoll physics to walking animations (Legs/feet adjust to height differences in terrain)

Add turn animations (No more roller-skating in-place while aiming)

Those are just a few of my thoughts. Considering how much walking and running we do in the game, I feel the quality in animations should really be above what it currently is, especially compared to the quality of the recent mercy kill and stagger tech animations.

you clearly haven't seen the same tennocon as me cuz from all that light-show i only saw the raijack and the half-baked liches being delivered

    Tennocon 2019 showed:

    Railjack flight and mission navigation

    Derelicts in the Heliosphere (Veil)

    Boarding/hijacking enemy ships

    Tunguska cannon

    Liches exist

That is everything which was delivered by the end of the year. Squad link is coming in the next update, which will be the last piece from the Tennocon gameplay demo not released. Anything beyond those things which were to be expected were created in the players' minds.

im not denying the work they did to keep the money flowing, if anything i enjoyed some of those things, but my problem is their bs of announcing stuff they are not going to deliver much much later, and ill keep calling it a no man's sky situation where the devs seriously bit more than what they can chew, how about not announcing nothing at all and just do it when they have the certainly of actually having something, every tennocon is the same bs, they render a pretty convincing fake game-play then after years they deliver the reality of that idea, which is bare-bones cuz everything that could go wrong, went wrong, they keep over-hyping stuff then after that the consequences explode in their faces, and the players faces.

im just telling people that they shouldn't expect to get what its being announced and much less listen to the you-tubers who make things worst even, DE may not deliberately lie about what they announce but they fk up, and announcing content is part of the cycle of development, that's a fact

DE showed nothing they did not deliver. We received exactly what we were showed at Tennocon.

The problem is the playerbase expected far more than what we received - but that is on the players, not DE.

And?  That doesn't make it okay to hype and advertise one thing and deliver a barely functioning husk with little similarity to the hyped product.  They bit off far more than they could chew, that's not a good thing, nor does it instill confidence in further mainline content going forward.

Did DE overhype it or did players overhype it?

The answer is the players. DE never showed anything that did not function in-game. We got exactly what we were shown - and nothing more. It was the players who expected more, and that is not DE's fault.

That said, the bugs were still inexcusable at launch. Now that the bugs are fixed, though, Railjack is a ton of fun. It just needs more content - which we are soon to receive.

Thanks for the feedback! We've heard the requests to negate the self-damage of the Bramma, so expect something to that extent. Cautious Shot doesn't work on bows outright so expect a bow specific version!

...Or you could just make the mod work on bows...

I hope everyone at DE working on UI stops what they're doing, reads all of this, and seriously considers what they are trying to accomplish. Please DO NOT just wait to finish your current UI plan AND THEN discuss making changes. MAKE THOSE CHANGES NOW. Please. Your community knows what they're talking about. It's true, whether you've accepted that fact or not. Collectively (and in some cases individually), we have played your game much longer than you have. You're making this game for us, right? Not just because it's something you want to make and profit from, right? Then trust us, please. Trust players like @(PS4)Maunstre Find other special players like that and keep track of them and more importantly keep track of what they have to say. And please listen to them.

Thank you @[DE]Rebecca for giving this the spotlight this deserves. The forums are FULL of ideas as valuable as this that have never been read by DE. As a community we are your most valuable resource. If you are truly making this game for us, then USE US, and not just to fund your free-to-play game.

Bravo, my friend. Please, @[DE]Pablo, listen to this man. This is EXACTlY what is wrong with DE's current approach to UI design.

Another note for a short term fix for a bigger issue. All Platforms will receive this very soon since it's a Data fix:

Tenebrous Ephemera Removal and Future Acquisition:
We will TEMPORARILY remove the Tenebrous Ephemera as a drop from Reinforced Sentient Containers aboard the Sentient Anomaly in Veil Proxima. The drop method is causing numerous issues in terms of connectivity stability and player frustration. We’re going to be changing the acquisition method that won’t involve a direct drop rate in a near future Hotfix/Update, and will instead be closer to a token system (complete X Anomaly missions to buy Ephemera from a vendor).
The Tenebrous Ephemera will be coming back as soon as possible in a better acquisition method

    Thank. God.

This is a broad post that touches on something that appears throughout the 40 pages here. Simplified sentiment:  'Avionics Capacity limitations are too punishing'. This week's Hotfix will speak specifically to that with global buffs for all Reactor types found in the wild. Any existing gear you have will simply be re-rolled for Avionics capacity, which will automatically be a buff in all cases (note: the Vidar III which has just compressed its top-end entirely to not have the 30-100 range, it's now 90-100, but it will not give you lower rolls if you had one in the 90-100 range before this change).

    The coming number changes:

    - Lavan Reactor Mk I: Avionic Capacity now 20 to 30 (from 10 to 20)
    - Lavan Reactor Mk II: Avionic Capacity now 50 to 60 (from 10 to 40)
    - Lavan Reactor Mk III: Avionic Capacity now 80 to 90 (from 20 to 70)
    - Vidar Reactor Mk I: Avionic Capacity now 30 to 40 (from 10 to 25)
    - Vidar Reactor Mk II: Avionic Capacity now 60 to 70 (from 20 to 50)
    - Vidar Reactor Mk III: Avionic Capacity now 90 to 100 (from 30 to 100)
    - Zetki Reactor Mk I: Avionic Capacity now 10 to 20 (from 5 to 10)
    - Zetki Reactor Mk II: Avionic Capacity now 40 to 50 (from 5 to 30)
    - Zetki Reactor Mk III: Avionic Capacity now 70 to 80 (from 10 to 50)

Just dropping this note here so folks are prepared for this specific change as we work on more major fixes and changes!

    Holy S#&$ thank you.

What do the numbers in parentheses mean?
