  1. While the separate pool would allow for more liberal usage of the other three skills, on various frames (volt, nyx, ember, excal, loki, frost, vauban) this wouldn't make any difference.

That's because the problem doesn't lie solely on the damage and AoE those ultis have (or don't, for volt and ember).

I think the issue can't be corrected this simply.

First of all, we'd be hostages of RNG YET AGAIN. We'd depend on ultorbs drops, we could go through an entire mission without ever seeing one, or find 6, 7 in a row. RNG dependance is bad.

Second of all, This still doesn't solve the "ulti to clear room" issue. If there's dozens of mooks standing close to eachother, then if you ult there you have a good chance to net yourself one or more meaty ultorb(s). This would only allow, as I said, for more liberal usage of the first three skills - which in certain frames are their strongest anyway.

If I were to suggest something, I'd say give the players a system akin to fighters: dishing out -and taking - damage would fill up a bar (that empties when not in use) that allows for ultimate usage, while keeping the current system for other powers (although I'd prefer if energy would regenerate in this case).

Makes no sense at all, but I think it balances it. Ultimates would only be available as a get out of jail free card.

Truth be told, ideally we should have different ways to access our ultimates for each frame. Volt would get his by dealing raw electrical damage, excal by attacking with his melee...

  2. Increasing damage is NOT a solution at all.

    They need utility.

Dual/heavy swords are preferred due to their ability to hit more than one enemy at a time, jump AoE, or some utility (zorens give movement for example)

Give them a different effect on charge attack, some specific trait or something. Don't just bump up the damage.

  3. Not to mention the fact that "space ninjas" are wielding Light Machine Guns and Battle Axes...

The space ninja thing went out the window a long time ago.  We are Tenno Operatives, our own niche.  No rules apply to us that have been set in the past.

I honestly always thought the "ninja" part just ment "awesome".

  4. -Connectivity issues have always been and continue to be a problem due to the nature of the game's peer to peer hosting setup. Is there any point on the horizon you guys might consider switching over to dedicated hosting?

    No. Please, no.

P2P has its issues, surely, but it allows players from ALL OVER THE WORLD to play properly the game, provided there's more than 3 people in their country playing it.

Dedicated servers would increase this game's maintenance cost EXPONENTIALLY and would simply kick out players from "unpopular" regions.

One of the main reasons I bought my master founder package is due to p2p gameplay - I'm from brazil, and I'm sick and tired of being unable to play awesome games (such as planetside 2) simply because I do not live in the US/UK.

  5. I'll elaborate then.

    No, I think it's a bad idea.

I can see the appeal of dual revolvers and although we are futuristic space ninjas I just don't see it as a practical weapon.

If we don't have dual high powered semi-auto pistols, why should we have dual revolvers.

Bows aren't "practical" weapons either, you know.

    Glaives neither.

    Or a boomerang.

  6. Is their a mass destruction of the dojo option? their should be for when they do huge updates like this.

Edit1: Also I'm only partially refunded for destroying rooms? if im missing a single Forma!

Edit2: For old dojo rooms the destroy time needs to be removed. thats beyond tedious.

There isn't. There totally should be.

You're entirely refunded for destroying rooms. You're only partially refunded for decorations, though.

I sort of agree. The destroy time is only there so people can cancel it if they change their minds or something, IMO. But someone with ruler privileges should be able to rush destruction.

  7. All I want is a table telling me WHICH mobs drop which mods in which planets.

Yes, I want that. I know it'll be a HUGE list, but I want it.

Also, If I can make a suggestion. Add to the first boss a guaranteed chance to get serration/hornet strike the first time you kill him, with diminishing chances just like the chronos. That mod is an invaluable addition to your loadout.

  8. According to my friend gunner, AVG is finding and destroying viruses that the warframe launcher is infecting his computer with. Might wanna fix that or is this your whole plan? Make people pay shizloads of money then infect their computer? GREAT FRIKIN JOB.

AVG is a terrible antivirus program. 1/10

  9. You could easily complete 100 points within 1 of the phases. You had at least 2 after discovering the mods being rewarded.

    Don't procrastinate next time.

Not everyone had the free weekend, and were planning to get the points required for mods in the coming days we still had (after all, we thought we had three days left)

Not everyone wanted to play 300 missions because their NAT is restricted when it shouldn't be, and their clanmates just aren't online/can't invite them.

There were PLENTY of flaws with this event, but IMO all of them were related to either existent bugs or the event finishing far earlier than expected.

EDIT: As far as announcing the rewards later rather than at start goes... I think they did an excellent job at making it plausible lore-wise. "We discovered we need to grab more scouts, but the ones we already grabbed told us there's new tech available. Go get it!"

  10. And the hell you talking about? Snowglobe is fine as it is xD it is in no way OP

Invincibility from gunfire for 30 seconds not OP? Sure, why not.

While rushing missions for arid, a friend of mine ran nova while we had to do the jackal datamass runs and we one shot jackal with nova's #2 :( We can't punch through the shield and straight kill him period - we have to fight him the normal way. Was really ridiculous.

EDIT: Snowglobe is easy mode and needs a nerf too, yes. Now that that's out of the way, nova also needs a nerf.

Nova's #2 is the only scaleable damage power in the entire game. If you're attacking lv14 enemies with endgame gear, naturally you'll just destroy them.

  11. Close warframe every 10 runs, so you force the RNG to randomize itself (assuming its local, that is). :)

But other than that, it's pure luck. I've gotten all Mag in 4 runs, but I have yet to see a second BP for ash drop for me...

  12. As said on the top... what's the difference between dealing 100 damage to a 300-hp lancer, and dealing 200 damage to a 600-hp lancer?

That is not difficulty, I'm sorry.

This mod is horrible. It's an obvious pointer to the rising power creep issue.

  13. Best you can do is sent a support ticket to DE.

I made a mistake myself where I have connectors leading to a left over reactor... Can't destroy the reactor since ofcourse I would end up without energy rofl....

    Still waiting for help xD

Build a new reactor on a spot adjacent to, say, the clan dojo, then destroy the rest. :)

  14. https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/93537-the-new-vigor-mods-polarity/

Look at the list, there are 8 warframes with "-" slot and 8 with "D". They are pretty even in numbers. If you change the mod from "D" to "-", what about warframe that has "-" but not "D"?

In the end you cant make everyone happy so the best to leave it as it is. Player can forma if they have problem with any polarity. Keep it this way so we have defense mod for both "-" and "D" situations.

If a warframe has "-" slots player can use Vigor.

If a warframe has "D" slots player can use Redirection/Vitilaty.

    That's not the point.

There is quite enough - mods around, and most are pretty useful too (who doesn't use flow?).

"Lore"-wise, D polarities are used for defensive-esque mods, such as redirection, vitality, armor... And guess what, this hybrid mod mixes redirection and vitality, which are both D slots

  15. Ok first give me back my 1500 cores i used in straight damage mods and 402340234 credits i used to level it up.

Bluntly put, it's a beta. Get used to having your progress entirely reset.

I have to say, the 1/3 damge for 3 bullets is a terrible idea, it's a mod that would basically do nothing, yet still take up space. Just saying.

Assuming the stun value is fixed/revealed, a multishot would triple its stun value. Add in a thunderclap and you've got yourself a stagger weapon.

I don't think that completely throwing out mods like Serration and Multishot are the answer. I think that weapon rank progression is a good idea, but I don't think getting rid of all our mods is the right solution.

As of now, those two mods specifically are only DPS increasers. Nothing but that. They both multiply the weapon's damage - which is pretty much pointless if a damage progression through affinity is added.

  16. I don't agree with everything you said, but I do agree that the system right now needs a huge look over. Weapon imbalances/unclear weapon progression, huge spikes in power due to mods, poor mod diversity (Warframes in particular), and Armor/resistance scaling are all problematic and really need to be fixed up.

Honestly my biggest gripe is the uneven spikes in power, as you put it.

The fact that you depend entirely on RNG to become stronger is not a good thing.

Korean MMOs, famous for their grinding nature, at least feature consistent power growth through leveling up and skills. (even if the stronger gear is nigh impossible to achieve without mindless farming)

In here, even our "levels" are heavily influenced by RNG.

  17. Sundering Strike adds 90% for 7 energy.

Molten Impact adds 90% for 11 energy.

Rending Strike and Focus Energy add 60% for 9 energy.

North Wind adds 60% for 11 energy.

Shocking Touch adds 30% for 11 energy.

You'd be well off by pretending that Shocking Touch doesn't exist.

But then we can have 90% electrical damage for a measly 20 mod points! :D

  18. NEUROOOOOOOOOOOOOODES

    *ahem* sorry.

Those look cool. But I wish they didn't require neurodes for crafting. I'm sick of farming for those already (though less than CMs or cells)

  19. Punctuation. Use it.

Also, were you holding the trigger (whether you were charging or not doesn't matter, just holding m1) when you switched from the Ogris to the Despairs?

If not, can you reproduce the bug at all, or is it random?

Have you experienced such a bug more than once (in more than one mission)?

Have you experienced such a bug with more than one weapon?

Those are quick questions to answer that would GREATLY help the dev team in solving the bug.
