I don't why they would quit from that, but that's just replayable challenge that can be repeated as many times as you like and does nothing to actually so you from playing. What OP is suggesting is a terrible punishment to anyone who doesn't have the best internet and would end with people not being able to play for days

my friend doesn't have the best of motor skills and ended up not being able to play new content outside his MR for days before he finally called it quits

Grinding normal is soul wrenching boring and don't even get a chance at vandal parts.

Cannot be better said. Is DE listening?

It needs to be possible with horrible luck to have a finish line

This is what I mean, hours on end and nothing to show for it. Nowhere closer to the end than when you started!

"Something like this" is not "something that this is"

I would suggest not telling anyone about this, ever, and hope you aren't banned.

I'm sure we won't. It's a QoL bug. Nothing the audit system will care about. Now if we somehow generated loot or mods from this then hell yeah, Ban hammer away

You're actively using an exploit in the game and saw fit to not write a bug report but to say you are exploiting the game on the forum?

You're not making a good case for yourself.

It's already been made on the forum and DE doesn't care. And also on the forum is another part saying that use of something like this is perfectly legit under certain conditions, which are met.

Also, it's not game breaking, it's more like I can save on archwing modules until they plan to fix it. Instantaneous travel is probably not as bad as you think, considering we have zephyr and max speed volt that come close to this method. So maybe "exploit" is a strong word to use. More like me adding 2+2 and sharing it with close friends.

To my second point lets look at how things would look with your idea:
    You could either:
    A) Spend 20 minutes for one chance at the reward you want in an endless mission
    B) Spend 3-5 minutes in a non-endless mission and still get the same chance at the reward you want.

Why would anyone ever do endless missions outside of relics?  And even then people rarely go to 15 minutes with Relics.

Playing endless missions would be actively harmful in getting parts with your idea because you could just run the non-endless mission much, much faster.  In the time you ran the endless mission to get one chance at the reward you want you could have run the non-endless mission four to six times.  Since endless missions are now four to six times less efficient than non-endless why ever run endless?

This game is already pretty hard focused on short 5-10 minute runs at most, there needs to be something to encourage players to go for longer missions.

I see what you're saying. Allow me to verse my rebuttal in the following:

    • The new issue is lack thereof for scaling rewards for endless missions, it shouldn't have been static in the first place. If staying longer, like maybe to wave 16 guarantees systems, then fine I'll stay. The fact that relics are able to be an endless mission where we can pick our rewards among up to 4 options speaks wonders and greatly dwarfs the reward system of sanctuary onslaught.
    • Steve once voiced that Warframe is a game to pickup and drop for 20 minutes at a time, I fail to see this being something I'll come back to 20 mintues at a time in the near future so I hope to voice it now and let it be changed in the future.
    • We can view it as 3-5 minute runs will kill endless runs, unless of course these endless missions reward something exclusive to it and is desirable, but NOT mandatory. The part where I MUST do endless for something I NEED to progress in game isn't right to me. Focus and Radiant relics are all good incentives, for ESO, but not SO where I don't get much focus and I don't get radiant relics.

    Xiphos parts drop rate.

I think the xiphos fuselage is the RAREST ITEM IN THE WORLD . According to https://warframe.market/items/xiphos_fuselage

There are very few instances of unconfirmed sales of this unicorn. And has a low drop rate at what is seen as unpopular objectives:

    • Mercury/Terminus (3 Caches) 0.50%
    • Venus/Ishtar (3 Caches) 0.50%
    • Mars/Gradivus (3 Caches) 0.50%

wrong perspective 🙂 you don't get Khora for playing sanctuary.... Khora is a bonus to introduce sanctuary onslaughter.. so as i understand it's just a new playmode were you can test you frames, modsettings and so on with endless enemies. in addition you get khora parts for free.

for sure: other drops are mostly... lame 😄

    figures. I'm a simulacrum guy

for sure for sure: those other drops are lame😉

I don't, I use Zephyr and it's mostly the same. Outrunning Itzal is fun.

Beside, exploiting bugs is usually a violation of T&C so it's unwise to do it and even less wise to proclaim it worldwide on said T&C owner's forums.

It's a complicated system, the exploit involved combining a statement DE made that approves this method and a bug that DE said was not game breaking enough to set priority. There's other bugs/exploits in game that I know, but those are to solve the issues in game DE won't fix, like sanctuary onslaught portals debuffing you and restricting 50 energy, even though it's supposed to be (some varying number by frame) + (5 X unused mod capacity) a QoL exploit if you will, nothing to generate plat or resources mind you, nor troll other players.

Now I'm supposed to get round to farming the vandals from eso at their joyous drop rate of 2% (iirc) where it just feels so unrewarding to anyone who's only after the vandals.  The outcome due to the stupidly low drop rates and lack of any other decent rewards is that I just can't even be bothered to do it.  It's the time versus effort situation, I'm fine with putting a bit of time and effort into something but I want something in return and I just don't get that feeling of 'return' when playing eso and my rewards are relics which I already have stockpiles of, even with me needing focus points.

Ha ha YES! similar situation here, but at least the Focus is an incentive for me since I haven't maxed my focus yet. Too bad SO non-elite isn't so focus rewarding

My opinion is that the game is a grindy MMO like any other. I do agree sometimes the game has way too much grind for one thing. But just like any other MMO its not much more grindy than the other. Also if you grind and rush for everything you will end up getting frustrated and dont want to play. The best way to grind is to enjoy the game rather than being in a mindset to farm or i need to do a job.

I'd argue grind to be what my friend did: grind 120,000 allot plates, bred a beautiful smeeta, then quit entirely.

What I'm arguing is that after hours of grind, I have nothing to show for it. Even my friend would have at least had thousands of alloy plates to show for his work.

Grind is like work, you get paid an amount for your hard work. Grind is like going from point A to point B. What I'm expressing here is the exception where instead of having a fixed amount of progression (like everything else), you can be nowhere closer to the goal than from the start. Especially when this is something you need to mastery fodder for MR.

Don't grind for one thing and one thing only. Play Onslaught

    * If you feel it's what you want to do;
    * If you need also the other rewards so it's a win-win;
    * If you're trying out a massive map cleaner combination and want to try it where it could shine.

Example: I started grinding Gara 500 hours of gameplay in the game and I joined with PoE already up and running. Now I'm completing PoE content and I need Wisps, Endo, Kuva (don't like farming it) and Ostron standing... and I got Gara almost without noticing it. Whatever I win in the bounties is good for me - also I'm trying out Titania and Zephyr with different loadouts to take out Bolkors and Dargyns, which are a PITA for ground based players, especially for those who prefer beam weapons.

fun fact, DE express in devstream 113 they're looking to revamp the PoE reward system because the grind is voiced by the community as unnecessary. They're looking in particular the number of resources required per build and also how new exclusive resources are not welcomed in the new Fortuna expansion

Giving players a "Hey look, a shiny new toy will be here in three days" keeps them excited and keeps them playing

What your'e asking for here would do two things:
-Make loot even more laughably easy to obtain (WF has one of the better and faster paced reward structures in FTP games)
-Make endless runs actively harmful.  After all every 20 minutes you spend getting to rotation C for an item is 3 missed chances at the same item from mission X.

First point: I simply feel there is no concrete progression in the investment. Nothing like a guarantee unless I sell these 325 of these relics to buy her form the market.
Second point: I have absolutely no idea what you're saying. @Tsukinoki can you rephrase?

simple example, they are not issuing any changes on kuva

I too don't want kuva changed. Because it is responsible for a multi billion platinum riven trade. If kuva got easier to farm, then rivens will soon become worthless. I'm not arguing the 3 day wait as it doesn't affect me personally, just others and I would prefer to express it on the same topic. Also, warframe possession does NOT affect the platinum/credit market in game as they are untradeable. That said, I'm not saying make it "easier", just equinox to be more on par with other grinds. I still stand by the 1st point I made in OP.

    24h is harsh and unreasonable

One of my friends quit because that's the amount of time he was penalized with for failing an MR test 3 times in a row!
@Nelseru maybe use this trick to make yourself host: Edit your game to solo, then back to public. Check in chat you now have a squad chat with only you in it. Now enter the game. Most of the times this works!

This is why i love warframe as it is...

This is clearly one of the people that hate grinding game at least in my perspective. If you are asking that, that means you are asking DE to make the loot easier which is no challenge. Yes it is grind AF, yes it's annoying AF but that's the game. RNG also being helpful for DE in side of their way to make money for themselves.

As for 3 days of warframe built, I LOVE IT, simply because for me, 3 days is not that long, warframe has so much content, for early people, they can use their starter frame to open all starchart nodes, you can focus on building some weapon and leveling it up.

IMHO i am totally disagree with you, for me DE has make a decent and fair game, that's all

Yes, a majority of my plat is from trading rng rivens so I know that's part of the game. The literal rng. The 3 day warframe is not my issue, it's literal fact that some have voiced to me about. I have 10 frames pre-built and ready to claim, but didn't get around to it yet.

I do agree DE has a decent and fair game, which is why I wrote:

They can't give you all the Blueprints for ingame credits as that would ruin their Marketing system

I asked for 50p per part, not credits. I understand we have a sensitive and complex market though, which is something I've been exploiting for profit, as some of us who recognize its flaws have also capitalized in similar manners.

Also try not to farm something on purpose, as that can become frustrating really quick in this game

😮Really good eye opening advice. Guess Khora is getting dequeued and requeued to the end until I need relics

I'm gonna disagree with you on this one, simply because they are very complex pieces of tech and flesh and Warframes are supposed to be powerhouses

lol, we have a table with an Iron man assistant arm that can parallelize the workload of infinite unique simultaneous builds for any item except duplicates. And now you're telling me this advanced table can't put pre-built pieces together because of the complexities of technology and biological functions. I'll give you the fact biology can't be rushed, but sounds more like a technical excuse to me. Like the archwing air supply module can't be used in survival because they're not the same air.
