Fair enough. You'd have more data on this than I do 🙂 I just tend to feel that proper Nemesis systems tend to work best when "killing" your enemy is only temporary and they keep coming back. It's why long-running super hero stories almost always end up bringing back old villains, even if they've been "dead" for a while. I understand the need for finality in wiping out your Lich forever, but in my experience with both the current system and the Shadow of Mordor Nemesis system is that actually killing my Nemesis is probably the least interesting part of it. But hey - to each his own. After all, you have the metrics 🙂

I don't think improving the Kuva Lich system was ever in the cards. They threw it out there as a ninja smoke bomb to keep us distracted until they could finish the actual update they'd promised for this year and for some reason couldn't delay. I don't think the Kuva Lich system was planned for release until after Empyrean, given how heavily it was tied with the Railjack system and how little hype it received pre-release. For me at least, it came completely out of nowhere to a resounding "Wait, what?" Long story short, I don't think DE released Liches because they wanted to release Liches, so much as to bide time. I doubt we'll see it change one iota until probably spring next year.

I think you kind of missed the point of what you were responding to there. No, obviously developers can't develop content faster than players consume it without bullS#&$ grind but "rewards" are not "content." It doesn't matter how many rewards there are to earn if the underlying gameplay loop they're tied to is garbage, and the Kuva Lich system pretty much is. By their own admission, DE seem to have given up on designing fun, engaging content and just doubled down on the hollow grind. "Repeat the same things you've been doing for years until further notice, and you MIGHT get a reskin of an existing weapon." That's not content, it's a Skinner box.

Maybe Empyrean is different, I don't know. On paper it looks really exciting, innovative and - dare I say - inspiring. In practice from what was shown on the Dev Stream, it looks to be comprised of a few novel ideas spread thin across a gigantic grind for upkeep and consumables. We're fast approaching World of Tanks level of "a genuinely good game ruined by monetisation and progression" with Warframe because actual innovative gameplay always comes heavily diluted with repetition, inventory management and time sinks. At some point it starts to feel that playing the game for fun and enjoyment is no longer a consideration for its own development team. Only extrinsic, compulsive, exploitative gamification of inherently non-game activities is considered, which seems to imply (however unintentionally) that the core game of Warframe is S#&$ nobody would play if not for our collective Pavlovian reflex to earn things we don't want, need or end up using.

    Amen

This is incredible! This would've been a mode based on both the gameplay experience of fighting your personal nemesis, and one that would've been rewarding. It's a system that puts gameplay first, whereas DE's system puts reward item grind and RNG first.

No because they CANNOT draw content out if you hand out weapons this fast.

    Isn't that sad?

  3. Look at the warframe feedback page. It is a mess.

I strongly believe that changing Ai and tactics of units would improve crowd control and damage frames alike

making certain frames usable in different situations

Why don't I start a feedback post in a minute

lets get this ball rolling right meow.

Well, what do you see in this screenshot here not fitting at all to the overall Warframe gameplay:

    YgSh0Kt.png

Is it the missing 4th player?

Is it the blurry part? (I still think that "naming shaming" policy is just a coward way to protect the ones who shouldn't be protected but rather punished by DE.)

No! It is the obvious fact, that people are still "clinging to the meta" as is. There is no reason to not kill anything, to not actually play the game as it meant to. I really start to think, DE won't do anything against leechers, griefers, insulting "individuals" (had already 4 within 2 hours of gameplay ... god gimme patience) and the typical rager, if something doesn't fits their terms, while they obey (and must obey) the ToS of this game they literally accepted upon registering their personal account (which includes not going afk!).

Many peoples said it in the past ... I will repeat it, in hoping that DE will actually move their butts out of their comfort zone and start to think and handle this issue - we need a kick-mechanic in this game. Or at least a clever alternative like other games have had in the past: Scoring user accounts, so that they play with their equal minded fellows.

In online games, you cheat? You lose. You will mostly be flagged, rarely instantly perm-banned immediately.

Titanfall for example resolved this issue with finesse. They simply put those who were using Aimbots, ESP hacks and Co. with other players doing so, too!

Let us have a scoring in warframe. Players staying AFK (orbiter fashion frame excluded, obviously!) during a mission, insulting others, or whatever negative behavior shows up, they should be put together into their own cage of agony. Leave those, who really want to enjoy and have a squad with great teamplay in mind play together.

I would like to find some players like I did few days ago. Some regular MR10 and MR14 players in my squad were playing and handling their frames better than most of the MR25+ I've meet till today. That is something which most of us are aiming for. The typical myth trilogy "Unicorn - Dragons - Good Teammates" proven wrong.

Seeing people getting s***-talked as "whiners, anal idiots, pathetic bastards" and whatnot, be it aimed towards me or any other player, is just a bloody saddening trend nowadays. People think that they have immunity against everything, when they are just online, and don't have to suffer any consequences.

This is like seeing people doing crime and just telling yourself "this is okaaaaaay" - it is ducking hot! I mean not!

Get a clan man, nothing that you do here is going to fix people leeching. I run long long long relic kuva survivals and eso with clan mates.

I wouldn't say he's evil. Just devoid of emotion, and willing to do *anything* in his pursuit for knowledge.

It's not like the Tenno are pure rays of sunshine either, killing enemies left, right and center for all kinds of motives.

I need polymer bundles so lets conduct mass genocide to process enemies into multiple parts for more loot.

  6. Because as i've aged I have the horrible tendency to view all games in their bare bone state. Essentially If it is a mmo, a FPS, or even a battle royale, I feel as if I am just playing a reskined game that I have done before. Waiting for someone to get creative and invent something that is actually interesting I guess. So I just play WF rn.

This is a deep offence. Do you sincerely keep people for idiots?

Name the one kind of game mode you can't beat solo (or have a hard time to). Who do you @#$tting?

If you NEED an operator to do a frame's job that's dumb and cheap. Using it for escape or safe reposition is a boon. Jerking it every 5 seconds is an imitation. Yeah, i can imitate Tank or imitate Ash with savage silence... why she's Banshee, not a Mockingbird!

In order to have any semblance of balance you have to shorten the gap in survivability between frames.

Though I must admit all we do here is bull@#$t, since none of this issues are recognised or acknowledged by developers. They're eagerly nerf outstanding gear that's it.

Your wording very fanatical to me.

I’m going to assume railjack will require co-op and future trials.

For your second statement, why did they add operator in the first place then?

Finally, my third paragraph agrees with the tank meta concept and why this frame lacks there. I suggested we take a look at enemies and tile sets to fix that. My argument was that Digital Extremes takes way too long to rework every single frame multiple times. It would be a better investment to rework enemies, levels, and tillers instead of frames. (This includes how enemies are effected by cc, damage, and how their armor scales with levels.
