Rivens are not purchaseable or at least from DE themselves. From players yes , but they set the price so that’s already a losing fight most of the time. Rivens use ingame resources that were not purchased via a store so everyone who goes and gets this resource can participate to have a chance of giving a desired roll. Rolls on rivens can be different but everyone has different play styles so one might be the best for you but may be better for someone else. It’s a “End Game” activity anyway so you got time. It isn’t predatory. Even if it was you can blame players for that they dictate prices for those.

The one thing I blame DE is that riven has 5 layers of RNG,

    1. Rewards sortie

    2. Type of riven

    3. What weapon

    4. What stat you want

    5. Negative or postive

In any case rivens are just implementation of RNG that is done wrongly, lootboox just have 1 layer of RNG that you have to deal with. But rivens? You have to worry 5 layers of RNG

When the riven gives that is complete BS like getting sweeper riven that ihas negative damage

So there are 2 things that, while they dont ruin the game, are extremely frustrating:

Hunting Nerf: With the last patches we got the change that capturing animals with abilities (like Ivara sleep arrow) got changed so it doesnt let you get perfect captures anymore. This is a very bad change especially since we had a patch earlier that was specifically about letting us use warframe abilities to capture animals. This change doesnt make any sense together with the old one. Too much fun was had I guess.

Staticor: This one is extremely tilting. Staticor was buffed about 2 months ago, which was listed in the patchnotes. Today it get's called an unintended change which is just not true. We know this is not true because: a) it was in the patchnotes, b) there was silence on it "being a bug" from DE the whole time and c) the forum was full with it. There is no way the staticor range increase was done by accident and not noticed until now. If you want to nerf it atleast be honest about it. We also have Steve on stream saying he think self damage is a dumb thing and yet we got that on the charged shot.

No no no no no no, they didn't do that right? Ivara is a Hunter frame and hunting suits her

Why did you have to that DE

You get you just overplayed your hand, right? Hilarious paired with you defending the use of "nibba" as not offensive when everyone knows what it means. Clearly everyone else is wrong.

The word nibba is a not real word to begin with, it can be viewed as many thing that is usually different depending on where you use. The word Nibba in the internet view as memes with niBBa or jokes.

I didn't overplayed my hand, because one of the chat mod does has a player name that itself offensive. I am using an example if DE want to suppend someone from using a word that is offensive, then they should stick to their own rule.

So....the original word is offensive, confirmed. But the word used to reference the offensive original isn’t offensive? Dude, it’s common sense

Under no circumstances you need to use this word in chat. If you wanna be funny, then try harder

If that's the case then why is one of the chat mod, have a player name that is a "hate" word toward to another gender. DE didn't banned them, they asked to changed the name to a shorter version of it, but still reference the word.

Which tells you that this isn’t a ‘mild’ word. Next time tell your friend to grow up

    The Nibba is not offensive

In the urban dictionary, it's that is used if you want to say Ni&&a, you use Nibba so no one get offended

Time-gating. It prevents you from playing the game and eventually makes you quit.

Yep, most of the games that does this kind thing is mobile game. I have yet to see a PC/ps4/switch games that does this sort of action

Maybe that revamping the EXP system to reward more exp for the kills YOU do rather than your mates kills would be good. It's sad, but the actual, best way to level up is by leeching. A good chunk can be fixed if DE change their leveling system.

Weirld enough they did Revamp the exp, well kinda. Before the Banned for exploit exp is that we gain exp from using abilities, I'm surprised it took DE years to figures though

Honestly, where to even Start with Poor Vauban.

His new Passive is OK, more damage to CC'ed enemies. Maybe change it if he gets a full Rework, but right now it's fine when you want to Slaughter everything in a Vortex using a Plasmor.

His Tesla is HOT Garbage. It has a Charge time and costs more energy just to do what Volts one does, but worse. Volt's can jolt multiple enemies at once, Tesla cannot, and if not fully charged then it doesn't have a 100% Shock Chance.

Minelayer, is 1 Good ability, 1 ability that is just kind of OK, 1 Trash ability, and one just insulting ability. Concuss is decent CC and good to get you out of a tough spot if you can't use a Bastille. Trip Laser is OK against Infested, and can be pretty funny against Grineer and Corpus as a long lasting choke point to delay them. Shred is only good at like 240% Power Strength, and Bounce is just an Insult at this point, it should have been removed ages ago when Excalibur lost Super Jump.

Bastille is still good CC, and on Defense it is still one of the best ways to keep infested from the objective, and combined with a Frost or Gara and you are set. I don't think it needs to be changed too much. Since it's great for locking down larger areas.

Vortex is the opposite, good for grouping up a Cluster of enemies in a Single spot for Killing. If they have to get rid of one of the CC abilities, I'd prefer they keep Vortex over Bastille.

What Vauban really needs, is more Versatility, right now he is all CC. But there are other frames that have Amazing CC, but also are nearly Invincible, or can nuke entire maps, or can Buff their entire team to the point of making the enemies useless. Such as Rhino, Nidus and Octavia.

He Feels out of place, in a World that have frames that embody the forces of nature, or are literally walking biological weapons, to have a Frame that is, "I just lay some traps."

As Rath would say, Make Vauban Great Again!

Wasn't He was supposed to be an engineer frame? Cause if he is, he needs to have a turret

    That’s Ticker and Biz?

We do tasks/toss resources into sink for them and receive tokens in return. We get reputation directly from Biz (and decorations tokens) and can trade Ticker tokens for reputation or decorations. And you can choose what to buy.

I like this (decorations, yay!), but I do not want to run errands for every named NPC.

As for weapons being farmable only from a specific mission... I prefer being able to buy what I want from a weapon master/engineer who respects me becouse I help his/her friends and neighbors. I do not want to farm another Nidus, Harrow or Khora... Why bloat Fortuna drop tables with Furax Wraith 2.0?

Edit: Are you arguing for the sake of arguing? Weapon is not a weapon skin. Not every Arcane cost 10k.

What i am talking is the Fortuna and Cetus NPC that we talked, beside decoration [well some of them could be use as a weapon, like the wrench]

the tokens can be used for decorations, but that doesn't really diferenciate of the syndicate

why exactly, this would help, cause right now the syndicate in cetus and fortuna is the same thing as the syndicate

that is bounty. bounties and mission is different. As the bounties in warframe is RNG reward, while in mission has the guranteed item [alert is good example, even though the reward is sometimes bad, you still get the specific reward]

weapon is not weapon skin, yes that is obvious, but the creation is almost the same process. first create the suface then add the base stat to the weapon

you right my friend, not all arcanes required 10,000 some of them required 12,500, some of them also required 2000

    1. Wouldn't really be much different from what it is now. Their goal with standing caps is to impede progression and prevent people from going from 0 to 100 in a single day. If such blockers are implemented with the unique quest/mission you get from the NPC, it wouldn't be much different from what it is now except they have to come up with a ton of new weapons and missions in-between to fill in between each progression.

    2. Not every person starting out in Cetus or Fortuna are new players. People progress at different rates, what this would do is isolate the people who play daily and consistently against those who get left behind by that crowd. Eventually, everyone ends up at the end together but if you just got back to Warframe and started working on Solaris standing now, you would be mostly isolated with a few new players away from the people who have progressed a little and those are have reached the end.

You might be on to something with a separate spending pool away from standing progression, I'll give you that. It's relatively annoying that you have to curb buying things since every purchase reverses a bit of progress.

    1. Fair point, though I would argue about the making new weapon since tennogen always bring weapon skin that is different from one another, if tennogen can do it that means DE can do it as well

    2. If you are returning player or a player that is isolated from others then use Inv chat, there is a reason why this chat existed. Back before the arbitration, there are players didn't complete the whole star chart because there was no reason to, and when there is an alert nitain extract or orokin reactor on a mission that you haven't completed it, you could use the Inv chat to find other players that could ship to that mission.

Yep, 10,000 standing for a single arcane blueprint seems good to me kappa

Problem is that it is either a disjointed system that doesn't really make any difference from what it is now where instead of filling up one bar, you fill up multiple bars from the different people. If anything, this runs a pretty high risk of removing the variety of choices for getting standing if you make their objectives tied to their function, eg Miners asking you to get X amount of minerals and Fishers asking you to get X amount of fishes.

The benefit of the Bounty system is that regardless of your current Standing rank with the faction, you can still play on the same mission as someone who just started. Locking away the harder missions by some progression within the Faction itself would mean that if you're two ranks above someone else, both players can't make progress at the same time.

Ok let me try to explain of how would it work

    1. You complete quest or mission to gain trust from the NPC, you also gain standing to spend some utilities. The mission have weapons that you cannot get any other places besides the mission. The standing is shared through all the NPC, so you don't need to worried about separate standing.

    2. Don't see the problem there, I think its good thing because you don't need to worried about newcomer dying and charging randomly. Also if you want play with friend that is lower rank, you can just invite like any other mission in warframe.

  12. I think Volt could use a rework, since his description is "HIGH DEALING DAMAGE", which is funny because only 1 of 4 is his a nuke ability and it doesn't really that much damage if you are fighting against armor unit

And his augment is useless, "shocking speed" i still think this should be included in his 2nd ability

1 technically useless like the other elemental frame (except for saryn)

So yeah changed his 1 and 4 into something good, will convince me to volt again

Btw almost every passive frame needs to be rework

What do you mean more diverse progression? U can get fortuna standing from bounties, fishing, mining and hunting. That's variety if if i say so myself.

    That's not what I meant

Syndicate in Cetus and fortuna shouldn't work like the regular syndicate

You are still doing the same thing

Fill the standing, wait for standing to reset, then give items to rank up, repeat the same process

It's the same thing with only small difference

The way of how syndicate work in Cetus and fortuna should be different than the regular ones

    For example

All the NPC have their own quest or mission that you have to complete in order to receive their trust

Then you do special mission for them in order for them to see you as your ally

The more you help, the more they give you harder mission for greater reward

  14. We shouldn't treat the syndicates fortuna and cetus as the same as the other syndicates. They should be special and have a different progression system

They have the exact same progression, gain syndicate point, wait for standing cap reset, give item to rank up, repeat the process over and over again is repetitive. This game has already enough repetitive, what we need is more diverse progression of how we get the syndicate point
