  1. The early experiance and progression is really bad, you basically have to rely on a full AW squad or already have some MK II or III gear to enjoy the later missions on earth. I tried the natural progression and farmed the first 3 missions on earth to get MK I gear. My railjack has a MK I reactor, MK I engine, MK I Vidar Carcinox and MK I Vidar Apoc and struggles with lvl 15+ fighters.

I was lucky enough to find the Zetki Bulkhead so my RJ does not get vaporized while trying to gun the fighters down but I generally do not enjoy the later earth missions although I have the best possible gear that can be aquired there.

I play just fine! This system is forced on you, its not optional, its not a quest I can choose if I feel I need challenge.

There is also no OPTION to disable stupid transmissions from that thing, you can only disable all of them. If this is considered content.. DE can go f themselves!

It was forced at the beginning, but now it's not. It's up to the player to mercy a larvling or not. I had 1 lich to see if the system was fun or not to me. It was not and I watched every subsequent larvling die in front of me.

I AM curious if cataclysm extends outside the railjack, and if one might be able to use this as a form of bubble shield against ship weapons??

It can't, because the RJ interior is not part of the actual map. Same applies to all other interiors in RJ missions.

  4. Yes, channeling is gone and Zenurik is arguably even more powerfull now. The passive now increases heavy attack efficancy by 60%(capped at 90% total) at max rank, meainng heavy attacks only drain 40% of your combo meter.

I agree in sentiment, they could have just gated the content.

This was an obvious oversight, not a design intent.  I'd also bet they significantly reduce the forced timing delay to complete the railjack eventually.

I don't think it was an oversight to make this content accessible with Archwing. It might have been an oversight regarding the inventory management being tied to the vessel although you can do all railjack content w/o having it.

I don't have my ship build yet and was able to pull my weight as a member regardless, why should I not receive the same rewards? Having a ship or not doesn't add anything when you join someone else's crew.

Happy because my stock will keep increasing and we never know when DE will go "f*ck y'all" and make something costs 1m nano spores to make one of it and it's an important item

Yes, I love seeing the big numbers in my inventory even when there's no use of it and preparation for something drastic in crafting where you need millions of it

Expected a different answer tbh but ok, hoarders must love this game to death, for all the uselsess stuff it throws at you left and right.

I personally prefer rewards that are either worthwile or usefull (either to me or others). Picking up the example from above I don't feel rewarded when I receive some dust for my, already huge, pile of dust.

Receiving materials can definately feel rewarding (orokin cells and neurodes) still feel like a reward to me, as I still have uses for them, but, at least to me, their value drops to 0 the moment they stop being usefull.

What's the difference with getting random drop you will dismantle at the end? In the end it's materials but with extra step so what's the point? Show me a, game where you can never run out of things to put your materials down the sink please, it would be an excellent example for DE to follow

Problems with materials/rssouces come when you don't have any use for them. Are you happy when you return from a mission with nothing but credits and nanospores you already have millions of?

  8. I wonder how Relais, Cetus and Fortuna work ...

They have the possibility (code) yet they don't expand on it (just like they do with the content). I can't do PoE or Vallis in PUGs because it's a dia show albeit having a 200MB/s connection. I'd bet my dead grandma that RJ will be really good, forced CO-OP experiance.

As title say, i'm writing to you for a simple idea: use the railjack method of farming for every single mission in the game, so one people take a resources, all people share the same ammount. Same for Endo, Mod, various drop, etc...

    Why?

-) We are a team that work togheter for finish a mission, so it is reasonable tht we share resources at the end of the mission, (like we already do with credits)

-) This could help new player to take faster the reource they need (yes, i know that the most of you don't need that little more nano spores... buy maybe someone need)

-) This could create in the game new role for player during a mission (now the only role is "crazy run killing faster"; maybe in a mission there could be someone that say "i go farm while u defend the objective", etc..)

-) Some people simply don't ping important mod or resources. Some cause don't see them, some don't think you could need, some are simply bad people. But with this method no problem. If u take a rare mod, everyone take. If you take a precious alloy plate, everyone take.

    NOTE:

In railjack could be useful to share also the resources taken inside the enemy base and starship.

Now move this into the feedback section and wait until it does not get implemented.

Railjack is certianly interesting, but it doesn't seem to give me anything outside of itselfs. That is to say nothing you do in railjack really has any affect in the rest of the game. The exception is the 2 new weapons, but all the other rewards are just buffs to your railjack. Maybe my tune will change once the final part comes out but as it stands now it's to isolated to be worth it.

The exact same can be said about Lichs. Which to me is just saying it's a fail, just using other words.

  11. Am 2.11.2019 um 00:55 schrieb TheCoolcg10:

Lately I've been seeing people rant about how long it takes to get all three words and kill your lich. While I do agree it should be a little shorter, the point is to have a villain that grows in power with you. This is not the Sergeant where you are supposed to go to his node, kill him, and get what ever he drops. The Kuva Lich is supposed to be a threat.

Sure you can grind and grind to get all the Kuva weapons, but why bother? Sure Mastery Rank is cool, but I've found it more fun to hop into some nodes I haven't been to in a while and kill some thralls.(My lich is on Earth, and I don't remember the last time I was on Earth).

All in all I love this update. Sure some people are mad because they can't spend 3 hours to unlock everything, but I like the idea of having an enemy that is not some random boss that I have to go to the same node over and over and hope RNG drops the blueprint I need so I can finish whatever I am building.

Do you have a lich? I don't think so based on this post. I've created my first lich about 2 weeks ago and all it does is say hello when I log in for the day. It does't bother with me so I don't bother with it either. In all that time the only interaction was 2 sortie missions that got the rewards slightly cut because they happened to be on the lichs planet. The lich is no threat nor a villian. It's a boring mechanic with no incentive (if you are not into mastery grind) along with multiple layers of RNG and a pain in the ass grind needed to get rid of.

It's actually exactly that lame boss you need to complete some random nodes over and over (murmurs and requiems) until you can finally get rid of it.

  12. I've seen video footage (I think it was on reddit) showcasing how shots from a Redeemer with a -range riven did only hit at point blank.

It's maybe outdated, it may be fixed by now, but you never know.

regarding Excalibur's 4 and other Exalted Melees, I think DE want to avoid them becoming the go-to like they were before melee 3.0. I know they are sub-par in some aspects compared to top-tier melee builds, with the disadvantage of also consuming energy, but if they become too strong again you'll only ever see Exalted melees again, rendering the melee rework a total waste of time.

It only turn out bad either way. Either melee weapons are rendered useless on frames with exalted melees or their abilities are rendered useless by more powerfull melee weapons.

@Xaero Made a good (imho) suggestion on how to fix this.
