Revenant, Nezha or basically any tank frame. I say those 2 because they're the easier of the rest in my opinion. I honestly havent used Inaros much and feel like he'd definitely be squishy unless you had a lot invested in him.

I've had a 30k nezha shield go down pretty fast in higher levels so I dont know how other people do it.

Although this was before I had health conversion.

I have some special conditions concerning builds and if those conditions can't be met, I'm unlikely to pick up the frame (Nova is an example for that).

If y want to go deeper, better ask for info in DM since I don't really wanna talk about this here.

Yeah im not a fun of the loki pick, if youre with pubs, theyll get you killed, and if youre alone, a single mistake will cost you the mission. Have you tryed any of the braindead op frames? Like gara for example? Shes got, dmg, cc, dmg resistance, basically all you need.

I haven't really given her a try yet.

As I mentioned before, I have used Rhino, Nidus, Valkyr or Wukong. Tho I'm always interested in trying another tanky frame. (tho there are some things for me to consider with builds for those frames)

    Use loki

I've said it before, to me, Loki is good for spy, but for endless missions a bit too squishy. I they manage to get me, I'm dead. With a more durable frame, I can take a few hits until that happens.

They're 2 of the strongest mods in game!  With condition overload u have the holy trinity of scaling damage.

Don't get hung up on just having the biggest numbers possible on your stat screen.   Learn the best damage types to use.  What status and crit actually mean.   What your combo counter means.

I've been focusing on direct stats because it's more tangible.

It's more "If I take this, my weapon packs a bigger punch and I can see it already in my stats. for me instead of "If I use this, this happens when I do that other thing." It does feel like I'd hoping for some randomm stuff to happen without really being able to fathom if it'll work out (that's the benefi of larger numbers for me).

I also haven't changed any of my weapon builds since the melee rework

  5. vor 4 Minuten schrieb zakaryx:

Blood rush and weeping wounds are even better than they used to be after the status and armor changes. Slap on condition overload and you shouldn't have any issues in arbs.

Until I get 2-shotted before I can take the enemy down...

  6. vor 3 Minuten schrieb zakaryx:

Just slap on weeping wounds and bloodrush to basically any melee weapon with 15% or higher status/crit. Build viral and go hit E while using condition overload. That will carry you through 99% of the content in the game.

For some weird reason, I've never really considered those mods in any of my builds tho.

ou can do a slowva build but that depends on if you want to slow everything down to a crawl - generally not appreciated in most pub missions unless for something like interception.   Definitely don't use a slowva in survival or defence lol.

I've mainly used her for Interception. That was the reason why I made a loadout with her in the first place. For anything else, the build I feel best running on her is just too squishy, especially on those higher levels.

You're the one saying you have trouble with higher level content, probably 60+ by the sound of it.   That isn't high level tbh.   Maybe try and find an experienced player in game who will talk you through some builds because if you want to feel comfortable doing arbi's, I think you'll need to take some friendly advice and maybe try making a few changes.

I've been through this, but the talk got stuck at the same point, no matter who I talked to. There is just one point I can't get past. And talking about that point usually makes people annoyed with me sooner or later.

Tank frames are great, the three you listed are among my faves.

Face tanking bombard rockets only gets you so far though.

Nova and banshee can also tank btw, while at the same time giving insane damage buffs, especially banshee.

Put a balanced build on banshee with decent efficiency.   Then use her 2 and her 3.   It can get a bit silly.

I don't talk about builds outside DMs tho. Because very time I do, it gets me some heat because people don't really like my views on how to mod frames. Which also means pretty much come up with builds all on my own (I usually don't use 'pro builds' either).

And for example with Nova, the way I mod her, she isn't really tanky and the way to change that goes against my ideas for how to build frames.

So what is the point of this thread again ? Are you telling others to avoid, because you can't do them ? Not really getting it.
Besides, arbitrations, for me personally is the favorite game type.

I did preface my post with how it was meant to be. I didn't even especially ask for any sort of advice, just that I appreciate people giving their 2 cents.

  11. vor 7 Minuten schrieb (XB1)Hyperion Rexx:

I don't own either of those so you got one over me there.  You don't really need them either.

Move away from rhino.  His iron skin becomes a crutch and if you don't notice it's gone, you're dead.

I'm generally into frames that can eat a lot of damage; that have either DR or self-heal. Aside from Rhino, I also like Valkyr, Wukong and Nidus.
Never really been much for the more frail frames like Volt, Banshee or Nova.

    Practice.

You say you don't go solo past Jupiter.   Go further and test yourself.   That's the only way you will learn, you can't rely on being carried through everything past level 30.

Go to one of the higher planets, choose a dark sector survival, take nekros and your best melee.   See how far you can go.   You'll probably surprise yourself.

THe highest I've ever soloed was survival on Kuva  Fortress - for nightwave. And I wouldn't have made it without my Nidus (it's also both times where I met my Lich larvlings, which is why both weapons I've got so far are toxin).

I don't have much in the way of arcanes either. I don't do eids, so the only arcanes I use are victory and rage, which I bought ages ago.

I mainly have Grace and Energize to put on my frames. My other arcanes are mainly those I bought from Onkko or Zuud.

  14. vor 8 Minuten schrieb zakaryx:

Just solo them with literally any stealth frame.

It's impossible to die as loki if nothing ever actually shoots at you. Grab your favorite melee weapon with a nice hybrid build and go try a survival mission.

Hybrid builds  are that new meta, right? I mainly build my weapons regarding which stat is higheer at default; crit or status. Add in some elemental mods, maybe Stretch and/or reach and that's mostly it for me.
And if status is good enough, I also take in Condition Overload.

As for Loki, I never used him outside of spy or occasionally conservation.

  15. vor 8 Minuten schrieb Reican:

Alternatively, use Limbo and cast banish on the defence target if you try that in arbies. That way the target is invincible and you can take your time killing the hordes without worrying about having to revive the target, and should  the need arise and the target get downed, limbo can revive him from the rift, the target as well as other players, keeping you safe while reviving someone.

Can be a good way to get to know Arbies.

I know Limbo is a good frame, but I usually go with tanky ones like Rhino because others feel too squishy on higher levels.

  16. vor 1 Minute schrieb Miser_able:

well, I'd suggest (if you want of course) you hop into a solo arbi with some gear you think might work, just to test how well they damage you, and you damage them, then adapt to what you learned, like changing a few mods or arcanes, then hop into region chat, and see if anyone is willing to help you through your first run.

I don't have that many arcanes, only the cheap ones from the Teralyst and what you get from Nightwave.

And with mods - i don't wanna talk about it here - at least not outside of DM.

At this point, I'm much too scared to just jump in.

thing is, these rounds were weeks apart. I'd get curb stomped, and quit for awhile. eventually I'd had enough time to mull it over, realize my mistakes, come up with solutions, and i'd try again. ive learned enough from it that every so often Ill solo 15 minutes/15 waves/etc. I could probably do more, but I find most endless missions so dreadfully boring.

To me, it's not so much boring as I fear that I can't handle stuff alone, even Saturn. Hence why I never go solo to Helene (also because I get more affinity and it's easier to open relics with more people).

Amd I know there are some issues that I've already identified, but I can't really deal with all of them (there is a particular issue, I'm stuck for quite a long time).

  18. vor 1 Minute schrieb Miser_able:

    I didn't my first round. I went like 20. then 80. then 3 minutes.

I applaud your resolve. I don't know if I'd have that myself. (I'd probably fall off trying it for months)

  19. vor 9 Minuten schrieb Miser_able:

I know how you feel. I can handle most content, but I avoid arbys cause Im not that good at them. I tend to only stay for like 10-15 minutes

    I don't think I'd last more than 30 seconds.

  20. vor 3 Minuten schrieb (PS4)Sentiel:

Don't PUB then and play alone. It's better to play that way to learn your enemies and how to fight them. It's also less laggy and you can work with aggro.

If you lose, you lose. It's a part of the game, so don't be daunted by it.

I never solo any higher level endless missions (I don't even solo any of those past Jupiter or Europa).

And if I loose, I'd probably stay away from the mode or the node for quite a while. Because failing missions can get me quite bummed (I feel I'm somewhat allergic to the 'mission failed' screen). The higher the mission level, the higher the chance that it fails if I am solo.

I just recently dealt with my 2nd Lich and I can tell you, it took me quite a lot of attempts on those murmur farms because it was just as likely that I use up all my revives than to clear the mission. THat's why I almost only choose exterminate to farm those.

I gotta say that I main Rhino, but even with Ironclad Charge, my Iron Skin often melts faster than I can blink.

Arbitrations with randoms are alright. As any PUG sometimes it can be bad, you can just use "Ignore" function in chat or /i command, after accumulating long enough ignore list they tend to become better. Most of the time no one cares how you perform, it's a game with randoms, people go there prepared to solo and no one gives a S#&$ or expect anything from anyone. If you happen to match up with stinky - again, just use "Ignore" feature, works every time.

When you get used to arbitrations, they are actually very easy and boring. I don't even play them past 20 waves anymore because Adaptaion doesn't drop after that point and the rest of rewards i either already have or don't need. Good luck.

I've nevver needed ignore so far. Because I don't use VC and I most certainly won't see any of these people I played with ever again.

And yeah, PUGs can be quite a hit or miss, I've experienced this before. Yet, I still use matchmaking as a primary source for teamfinding. Because solo only takes me so far and recruit chat take forever to get me a response from someone who actually wants to play.

No need to qualify that to us, your experience is your own. There's a lot about the weapon and mod balance in this game that doesn't come close to doing the job we expect it to do post starchart.

    Thank you for those words.

I do feel somewhat pathetic for being kinda weak compared what I see from others (and somewhat miserable that I ca't really talk about this more openly thanks to some less than stellar experiences).
