    That wouldn't solve the main problem: the excavator is way too fragile. Even with a 100% shields per cell, it means just 500 shields per cell, and a lvl 80-100 mob shoting something with 1000 shields is... well, a hot knife cutting through butter. I'm also up for any creative solutions, but they should guarantee that the excavator doesn't die in a single hit.

    Maybe we could solve it with something different, maybe they can be healed by warframe abilities, or you can "pause" them meaning they get in a suspended status, invincible but unable to continue extracting for a fixed time every time you "suspend" them.

    I don't know, what is clear is that they need some survivability in later missions.

  2. I've been doing a kuva lich mission with lvl 70-80 mobs where the excavator had 500 shield and 2500 hp. And you have to extract 500 cryotic. It was the antithesis of a fun mission. Basically you have to pray for the enemies to not even look at the excavator because it will die otherwise.

    I get it, you should use this frame, or that build or that other one... Yeah, I know. But that's not the point. The point is that they are literally OHOK. I'm not saying that they should have 100k health each and be as tanky as the pod of a defense mission, but at least you should be allowed to not be babysitting the drill for the few seconds you need to get a capsule and put it back.

    With the last update, we can now use the % and @ symbols on chat. The first one was just some small QOL improvement needed, but the second one is a huge improvement since it allows us now to effectively tag people in chat and get notified when we're tagged (if you're mentioned with an @ on a chat, you'll see a red dot over the chat symbol of the window where you've been tagged).

    I like being able to play any frame on railjack and not being forced into a frame / role.  If done right, it could be interesting, but I think it would be hard to do this right as some of the passives would be significantly better than others.  

    I'd be happy with some railjack specific aura mods.  

    Well, I thought about some but with the amount of frames we have, there might be a myriad of different passive skills that could be good. However, I get your point. It might be difficult to balance.

    The aura mods tho... that sounds even better! Why not make those archwing auras?

I've been thinking about this since the launch of Railjack and I finally decided to put on the paper this idea: what if every frame had a secondary passive skill that would work only when in railjack missions? Something directed to improve or, better, to make each frame more issued to join a certain role. It came to my mind when playing Vauban and doing an engineer role. I realized that with a duration/power build I could leave some nervos and turrets around the ship on the points where we usually get boarded to deal with the intruders in a more or less autonomous way. So why not make this a passive for each frame that gives you some little help while playing a certain role?

    • For example, as I said, Vauban was my first idea and, given he's an engineer, his passive is aimed to help him while doing this role:
      • Autonomous Defense System: When a Vauban is on board (only while he is inside the railjack, not outside), he can control the ship's ADS, meaning that at fixed points, there will be some defensive turrets that work much like the flechette orb and scale in damage with the flechette ability of Vauban (the more damage the flechette orbs cause, the more damage the turrets will cause). These turrets have also HP and when destroyed completely, it will take 300 secs to respawn. Any omni can repair them completely at the same cost of revolite than a hull breach. If there are two or more vaubans, only one set of ADS will spawn and the system will consider for it the one with the highest damage.
    • Ember was another one that came to my mind.
      • She's a fire controlling frame so what better than her passive reducing by a 10% the heat accretion of the turrets she's using? The passive is called Heat absorption.
    • Frost passive is focused on the defense of the ship:
      • Ice shield will work as a shield gate of sorts for the Railjack. If your shields go down, once every 300 secs Frost will create an ice shield around the ship with an scaling amount of HP (still to be decided how much) and works as a secondary health pool, meaning it's affected by ship's armor. The shield lasts for 10 seconds or until it's destroyed.
    • Nyx is a mind controlling frame so her passive is something that has to do with this:
      • Turret pawns: if Nyx is piloting an enemy crewship where the enemies at the turrets are left alive, these enemies will become mind controlled and shoot at your enemies instead of the tenno.

    I have a few more in mind, but before doing a too long post, I wanted to know what the Warframe community would think about these. I'm also open to suggestion for other frames. If new ideas come by, I'll try to add them to the main post with creds to the author.

    First, use the bug report forum, this is not feedback itself but a bug and you should report it there so they can take note of it (if they haven't yet).

    Second, I recommend you to change the title for something that's related to the topic itself. When I read the title before entering to read the post, I thought this was a trading topic where you were searching for Equinox Prime.

    Thanks for the answer! What i've noticed is that if you don't have pustrels but have the other mats, it won't let you build the payload.

    No. It means when you have a weapon at level 0 (that is, just crafted or just forma'd) the amount of initial mod capacity it will have will depend on your MR. So when you craft a weapon at MR1, that weapon starts with 1/30 (2/60 with catalyzer) mod capacity for you to use. But if you craft the weapon when at MR10, it will start with 10/30 (20/60 with cat.) mod capacity.

  10. As title. When you build munitions for the ordnance launcher, instead of taking 10 carbides and 10 copernics, it will take 20 pustrels. This happens only in dojo, during flight it will take the correct materials.

     

    EDIT: I just realized it is messed up completely. The game will always take pustrels instead of any resources at all.

    Too much effort, I see your point. How about this? We have 1 weapon of each type. It already does 10 trillion damage per hit, so technically it one hits every single thing (including bosses with invulnerability periods). So basically, you don't need to even make a build. Just select the weapon and it's ready to kill every single enemy in the game with one hit.

    Dude!!!! The mods are maxed already! You just select them from the list that has all of them and get added to the gun maxed.

    I suggest then that we also remove all the resources. You just go to the foundry, click on the forma (you won't need a blueprint for this either) and get a forma. Actually, I think it would be better if when you get a new piece of gear, it actually comes with an universal forma on each slot (one that takes the polarity of the mod you put). And to get a mod, you just need to select it from the mod list and equip it. It will also be maxed, of course.

    I don't know if this is too much to ask but if I transfer the data from this Micro SDXC Card to another, will anything bad happen? My Switch isn't currently recognizing the Micro SDXC Card and the last time this happened I don't know how my Switch recognized it again.

    I'm not sure you can transfer the data from a micro sd to another. Specifically I don't know if the switch will recognize the data it had in the new micro sd. Worst thing it might happen is that you need to format the new card and redownload all the games on it. But it won't damage the console or the new sd in any case.

    I'd be up for this but only if they make it so every turret we craft is actually a pair of turrets so we can add them to both sides if we want. If you keep the mechanics like they are now, having to craft more turrets would mean more insane grind, and I don't want that.

When I close my Switch and then open later during the day, my Switch claims my Micro SD Card isn't in the system anymore, despite it actually being in there. After this, the Micro SD Card randomly gets detected again, and says there's corrupt data (corrupt data appears in my Micro SD Card and my Internal Storage). This only happens with this game.

    If this problem isn't caused by the game, then I think I might know what's wrong (my Micro SD Card might be "breaking" after a certain amount of storage is used, or games with large install sizes might also be "breaking" my Micro SD Card).

    This has been happening since the update prior to Empyrean and is still currently happening.

    Side note: the loading time when I turn on my Switch increases.

    Hey man! I can tell you that some of my clan mates are having the same problem. The common denominator in all of them is that they were using a cheap SD card. You see? The SD cards (much like any other memory) have a problem. It's not reading what corrupt them, but rather deleting and rewriting data. This cycle wears down the memory and I've found that cheap SD ones wear it down faster than some of better quality (I have a Sandisk one since the Switch launch and is still working after more than a year storing warframe). Warframe it's also a game that does this cycle of deleting and writing a lot more than others (also due to the amount of updates it receives), in fact, this is the problem why the old blood update got stuck in cert hell, they were worried precisely of this happening.

    Now, I can't say if your SD is of good quality, but to tell you the truth, it's the first time I've heard of that brand and a quick search for it on amazon doesn't even find it in the first pages of results, so it might probably be a not so good card. That or you had bad luck with yours. But it is almost 100% sure an SD issue.

    Believe me, it could be worse. You have jump button, us on Switch have the MELEE! Imagine using a melee weapon the moment you die.

  18. Basically I discovered a crash that happens everytime. Whenever I end a mission and go back to dojo, if I check the intrinsics console, I'll crash. It happened every time, and I asked some friends to reproduce the crash and happened to all of them, every time. Don't know if it's just a coincidence but it happened to every person I asked to do it.

     

    EDIT: I pinned it down even more. The crash happens exactly when you hover the cursor over any intrinsic when you come back to the dojo after a railjack mission.

    EDIT 2: Made some more tests. It seems the crash won't happen if you leave the dojo (going to your orbiter) and reenter it before trying to go to the intrinsics window. I ended a mission, went to orbiter, went back to dojo, entered the intrinsics menu and didn't crash.

  19. For real, change it, I don't care with which button, it can be whatever button you like or dislike, just any button except the one we have now. It's stupid that you have the same button for abort than you have for melee. When you're fighting with your melee weapon, you're smashing that button, if you die in an arbitration, it's literally impossible to stop smashing it in time to avoid aborting and losing everything. I just lost 40 mins worth of rewards because I suddenly died while melee-ing and couldn't stop in the 0.0000004 seconds you have before the "Press A to Abort mission" screen shows.

    Buying would be as easy, just click on the part you want to buy and pay the listed price, and the part is yours.

    No need to sit and stare at an idiotic scrolling text box from the 80's, having to communicate with the seller/buyer and then having to go through TWO loading screens to actually conclude the trade. If someone really thinks that the current "having to chat and travel to a dojo"-system increases player interaction they need to get their head examined. It might look that way, but it isn't, it's just forced behaviour.

    Furthermore, this would be a market actually functioning according to free market rules (while the scrolling chat is not), guaranteeing fair, visible prices and price-points. And you could sort it into different "shops" (for parts, mods etc.). You could even have a plat-free "want to trade" section (just put up your part with "I want to trade Shedu barrel for Shedu systems", someone else puts in the systems and gets your part).

    And DE could act as "plat verifier", stopping trading transactions that include any plat not deemed 100% safe for trading.

    And if DE wanted to take a 1% surcharge from seller and/or buyer for every transaction, that would be perfectly fine. Those not wanting to pay the transaction charge can still stare at the scrolling text box.

    I cannot understand how such an easily made structure does NOT already exist inside Warframe, since the game allows trade between players. I truly cannot. I really, truly, flabbergastedly cannot understand how something like this does not exist. We ALL need it.

    FFXIV figured this thing a few years ago. That's what they have. An automated market board. You put an item for sale and someone else buys it if they like (or buys it from other vendors if their price is better). Basically, what warframe.market does but integrated in the game itself so you don't need to use a third party app.

    I am against an Auction House, I don't want that because prices would drop so bad that people who don't play 16 hours a day would be forced to buy plat if they want something. However, a market board (that you can even limit, making it so you can't have more than X items for sale, you can't do more than Y transactions a day...) would just make people stop using warframe market and using that. The only change there is that they wouldn't need to open a browser for the market.

    now you already wrote some thing in the packages are exclusive.. so you simply have to buy the whole bundle to get them...

    How does a car comparison even make sense to you? You can't just install all the stuff that comes as an extra in a car when it's already out.

    There's a lot of developers that allow you to upgrade your purchase to get the whole bundle, I still don't understand why can't we do the same here.
