What OP is talking about doesnt have anything to do with any form of "endgame". It's about letting newer and more casual players experience the quests and new tilesets when on somebody else's railjack.

When you play an MMORPG like WOW or FFXIV, do you expect a level 5 player have access to all the game's content? This is exactly the same. It's fine if someone can't access to the railjack the moment it's launched, because they have to work for it. What people is asking in these continuous posts is for everything to be accessible to people of MR0, and honestly, I'd stop playing the game if that would be the case. I want that the time I dedicate to the game pays off somehow.

on ps4 and xbox one it can also take two weeks or longer if a lot is going on... but right now the switch gets the most releases per week. it's not just Pokémon, but tons of indies and third party too.

I'm pretty sure most of the indies are launched on ps4 and xbox, and I'm also sure they have a lot of other third party games being launched every day. Actually, owning a ps4, I can tell you that there are way more ps4 launches every day than switch launches. This is still no excuse.

I get tricked. About 30min ago, Warframe said it had a new update and I should restart.

I though it was the "Old Blood."

But there was nothing for me. Not even Ash & Vauban (I know DE said it will come with the update, but I though they somehow get it to work without the update)

    Silly me.

This happens some times, I don't know why to be fair, but every now and then I'll get the message that there's a new update, when I go to try, there's nothing. Best way to know is look at the chat. The famous "red text" will tell us when an update is being deployed. If there's no red text before the update prompt, the message is due to this bug.

Worse? They never guaranteed cert will take 1 week, to be honest they never promise us anything about cert so far I know.

DE say cert shuld take up to 2 weeks, probably nintendo say it somewhere to. Even if someone misunderstood word "should" they still have time.

We're still discussing the same thing. The others can do it in one week and nintendo can't. If that's the case, Nintendo needs to speed up the process. We're repeating the same thing.

think you two completely missed the point. the point is I want to make my own clan. but I don't want to abandon my current one to do it, and im sure a good chunk of other players feel the same way.

Honestly? Your complain sounds like one of a child that wants to have everything but can't. You know? In life you must choose sometimes. You can't be in two places at the same time, you can't drive a car and a bike at the same moment... Life is made of choices, grow up and accept it.

Hmm, maybe just maybe, it's related to Pokemon release. You know big tittle, all hands on deck, ect.

So it's ok for Nintendo to treat non pokemon players as second class customers? Bad thing to do you know. If the problem is because of this, then it's even worse, because they are clearly saying that there are first and second class customers to them. If anything, this makes me don't want to support Nintendo and be even more harsh to them.

You do know I don't need a clan/dojo to get dojo frames or weapons right?

Yeah, paying real money. You would be fine if they added an option to buy the railjack with Plat i guess? But then, the only option to get the railjack for free would still be the clan. I don't know how that changes anything.

For the gif, well, seems pretty clear that you have exactly zero arguments on this topic. If you think this way, you really need to stop playing warframe and look for a single player game. The other option is to suck it up and accept that you have to either join/make a clan or to skip this content.

You still need to explain us what's wrong with joining a clan even if you aren't obligated to participate on it, but I guess you won't because I doubt you even know it, you're just whining about it like babies do.

You know what's hilarious, you need a clan to build a dry dock but the resources needed for the railjack is a solo experience and not clan contributed. Just lol.

Absolutely zero reason we can't have a dry dock at the relays to build individual railjacks.

You know what's hilarious? You need a clan to get the blueprint of Zephyr (just to name something) but the building of the frame is a solo experience and not clan contributed. Just lol.

Now, then, what you are asking is that dry dock shouldn't be in a dojo (or that should be able to be outside of a dojo too). However, you should need to buy the dry dock (or are you expecting to get it for free?). And for that, you would need resources that would probably be the same than a ghost clan dojo, which makes it... uh... dumb? Because what's the difference then? You'd still need to grind.

You really need to explain why is it that bad to be in a clan and why people who refuse to do it want the same privileges than people who don't. What's next? Asking for legendary cores to be out of sorties so you can farm them somewhere else? Asking for vitus essence to be farmable outside arbitrations because you don't want to do them?

You are treating clans like some sort of bad thing, who knows why. There's plenty of clans that will let you join them and just keep playing solo, why can't you do that? Or why can't you create a solo clan? Or, more important, why are you refusing to interact with other players in an online COOPERATIVE game? Your complain is as absurd as if someone who plays Overwatch asked blizzard to remove the PVP part of the game because they only want to play with bots. In both cases, the person has probably chosen a wrong game to play.

Of course they want money and some features are questionable, but Nintendo is quite fair regarding pricing. And I'm pretty sure 64 or 128GB. would have been quite expensive at launch. Just look at the price jumps mobile phones have for more internal memory. It's cheaper to buy sd cards than a phone with more memory. I don't approve that we have to use an app for chatting or pay for playing online, even if we got servers or free gamecube games, but the memory expansion is a wise decision. It also was on Wii U. And yes, there are exceptions where you have to download a part of the game, but those are games where publishers wanted to use cheaper modules, not because it wouldn't work. If the whole game is on the module (like it should be and is 99% of the time) then no installation is required. Even Witcher 3 is plug & play with no installation or download required. On a ps4 with 500gb you can only install 5 to 6 games the size of Witcher 3 and the drive is full. On switch i have 30 physical games and except for doom's online mode none of these games require any space on the internal memory. I have an sd card, but it's only for eshop games like warframe. and i only paid 50$ for 400 GB extra. Of course it is sad, if Warframe doesn't fit into the internal memory anymore for those who just want to try it out. Then the game is theoretically not free anymore because it requires people to buy more memory to download it.

Ok, first things first. On WiiU you could at least plug an USB memory or even an usb HDD that you can't on switch (not even when it's docked).

Regarding the memory prices, again you are talking about micro SD cards at retail price, not memories at bulk prices like these companies buy. Pricing is different, and I'm sure an IR camera was more expensive than a 64gb memory at the time. Still Nintendo decided that the camera was more important than more memory.

The memory expansion is a wise decision, OF COURSE IT IS! If we couldn't expand the poor 32 gb we have, how could we install anything? The bad decision was to give us only 32gb at launch.

The fact that publishers wanted to use cheaper modules makes you wonder why. There's a lot of games that only launch in digital and there you have to blame both parties. For once, the publisher willing to cut corners, but also Nintendo for giving us a cart that is not cheap to begin with.

On PS4 and on Xbox, you don't need to install the games if you don't want to. The games will load slower but you don't need to install them.

You only paid 50$ for 400gb extra. Ok, fine. How many times did you use the IR camera on the joycon? I really want to know this. And, if they are so cheap now, why the revision didn't include a bigger memory?

The game is not free anymore because Nintendo made a poor decision of giving a portable console only 32GB instead of something bigger; and they are keeping this poor decision on the newer models. Period. This is the first time someone tries to defend Nintendo over the fact that they were cheap when chosing what memory to use, and it's not something good. Seriously, how many times have you used the IR camera on the joycon? For real tho. Put yourself this question, how better would have been switch without the IR camera and a bigger memory instead.

It's not the 6m credits you should be worried about. It's all the relatively rare resources like tellurium and orkin cells.

I've basically played the game with boosters on for months and still only have like... double most of the mats you need.

For the orokin cells if you've been levelling in Helene instead of Hydron, you should be swimming in them. For the tellurium only thing I can tell you is to do some Uranus survival to get it. They are rare, but not really hard to come by if you know where to farm them.

the memory is cheap now, but when the switch came out 128gb would have been 50$ extra. now you get that memory for 10$ - and except very few third party games (doom, l.a. noire) no retail game has additional downloads required and there is no retail game at all that needs anything to be installed. it's still all plug & play just like on the gameboy all those years ago. It's okay if you are not happy and dislike the idea to give customers a choice, but for most people this is a really nice move.

You are mistaking the prices of a memory to the final customer with the bulk prices a company would have access to.

There are several retail games that requires stuff to be installed, there's been games that without the Day 1 patch wouldn't work. There are games that are digital only, so you can't get them without installing them and worst part is they are retail (bayoneta 1+2, megaman collections, just to name a couple). The choices were poorly made. They added a lot of useless stuff to the joycons that increased the price and nobody used while they should have included more memory to a console that has several games needing space and have a bunch of digital only versions (and given the price of the cartridges, these cases can't but grow). It wasn't a nice move at all to give us so low memory, and was even crappier move to give us a revision of the switch that didn't address this.

There are things that can't be defended, and Nintendo has made a lot of these lately, stop treating companies as if they were your friends. They are here for money, that's all. They are not your friends, you don't need to defend them from other "bad guys".

Perhaps that makes sense, but still 6 million seems a bit overkill to me.

And I say that as somebody who doesn't mind running the Index for it, it just seems like DE wanted a credit sink for the sake of a credit sink.

I think the 6 million is just to make it so only people that arrived to a certain point in the game can afford it. It looks like a barrier, but for me, it's a way of telling people who played for a while already that all those mats and creds they have sitting in their inventory are useful for something. In warframe, differently to other online games, we don't have any kind of "level requirement" to do most of the stuff (except those locked by a quest). So basically, a mr1 could technically go almost anywhere in the map and do almost any content of the game (they could even help with an eidolon in a party). Setting material/credit barriers is a way to tell people who played for a while "there, this is a content that only you can do after having played this much".

  13. Just now, Aldain said:

The issue I take with the 6 million is that it is many times more than the actual resource requirements.

I mean the Kavat incubator segment took 120,000 alloy plate, a Railjack takes 27k...but for some reason needs a million credits?

It is just oddly disproportionate when compared to the resources.

Think of it as the money you would have to pay to so many people to build it and, later, to be your crew. I mean, there's a lot of people involved in this, it's just normal that you have to pay them.

  14. Railjack is not supposed to be something that can be affordable at low MR, it's supposed to be something that advanced players would be building. Think of it as something huge that will need a big investment so you should gather the stuff and start adding mats from the beggining to have it ready when you have advanced a bit more.

If right now 6 millions for you are too much, I'm sorry to tell you this way, but you are not ready and you should keep playing for a bit more until 6 millions seem something affordable.

Well on Switch/ Wii U you don't need to install physical games to the internal memory, unlike ps4/ xbox one... So more memory is not needed and additional internal memory would force every user to pay more for the switch, even those wo just buy physical games. Micro sd cards are also really cheap and everyone can upgrade how much they are confident to pay for. So it is a nice move for customers. They also don't force any proprietary memory chips like sony did with the ps vita.

I also think we should all be nice to DE and Nintendo. Things like this can happen and we should live up to our reputation of beeing one of the nicest online communities. I know there has been a content drought this year, but they are working really hard on an enormous update and it's free !

No, on a few things I disagree. First, you do need to install games on your Switch, and some are quite big. Memory is in fact needed the moment they are selling everything in digital (and some games only that way). Besides, they could have perfectly sacrificed some of the stupid and useless features of the joycons (anyone ever used the IR camera aside some minigames in labo? NO) to give us some dirt cheap memory (that you have stated to be really cheap). So giving us some 128gb instead of just 32, for them might have been pennies, and if the console had to cost 10€/$ more, I would have been ok with it. Stop defending Nintendo for their crappy decisions, because they are not right here.

And no, we shouldn't be nice to Nintendo when we all know it's their fault and they are not being clear on the reasons. Why is it being delayed? Why has it been 1 week without knowing anything? They (Nintendo) really need to go out of their usual PR silence and be nice to us for once, not the opposite. I am not blaming DE for this, in fact I think they are being awesome by giving us some relics to make up for the mistake that they are NOT commiting, but one thing is being nice and a very different one is being critical. And with Nintendo (as well as with DE when they deserve it) we need to be critical, we can't be just nice and silent, we as customers (in a civil way) must express our feelings about things because it's the only way the companies will improve their products.

I hope the rising tide update comes with a game files optimization , so the memory size decresases.

I mean since we already have a delay on the old blood (due to the fact that the game goes beyond the 20gb allowance), they might as well look into file optimization for the next update. We will still get the update after everyone else, but the delay between the two updates would be the same, hopefully. Like, 3 weeks, hopefully.

The game will only get bigger and bigger, you can't expect it to always fit the Switch internal memory. Sooner or later (and I suspect it will be sooner than later), you will have to buy an SD. Actually, they didn't have to optimize the files because they could just say we needed an SD card and still they did it. So don't expect they keep doing it and get a 64gb card at least if you want to keep playing Warframe on Switch.

Also, complain to Nintendo for being so crappy by giving Switch such a small internal memory.

I'm ok with the delay, its not up to you guys we have to wait for Nintendo but....
Now is the Double XP Weekend and that is kind of a slap in the face for Switch Tenno 😞
Even for PS4 & XBOX its a bit to early in my opinion but they at least have the Patch, the Forma and had the chance to get some Kuva Weapons to really dig in the XP this weekend.

But Switch is just loosing big time in with this weekend ...

Any plans for repeating the Event for Switch ?

Can't agree more. I understand that the delay is not because of you, and I can't blame you for that. However, the Double XP Weekend looks something went to waste for us. We didn't even have time to get the kuva weapons, and those are the ones that will require more affinity due to their nature. Doing the event right now when we don't have access yet to it looks like a waste for so many of us. I would have preferred a resource weekend or creds weekend and wait for the XP for a while until we have the update and, at least, had a few days to be able to farm some weapons.

And just because they had to rub salt into the wound, PC is already getting a new update.

DE, please, let us Switch users transfer our accounts to a different platform. I've put hundreds of dollars into this game and naively starting on Switch was the worst decision I ever made. I'm already tempted to quit after only 10 months because I'm tired of being in the small minority of the community that always seems to get the short-end of the stick.

Do you realize that it's not on DE's hands to pass the cert process? You should be complaining to Nintendo, that, as always, is being S#&$ty with their stuff.

  19. I've been working on this project for the last two days. I wanted to create an obstacle room where I could change the paths by just adding or removing a wall in a certain place. The result is a course that has 5 shifting parts. There are no pics for the inside because I want to keep it secret for my clanmates so they have to figure the traps that they'll have to face. However, if anyone is interested, I can take some pictures of the course insides to see how it looks like.

It includes some shooting ranges, jumping challenges, some nasty traps and parkour zones. From the room's entrance you can't see the outside of the course so you have to figure out during the run how is it this time. The lights would be dark-themed but I made the pics with the default lights so you could see it.

Next one, I'm planning a horror themed course, with hidden doors and traps everywhere. However, and this is a suggestion for DE, please, PLEASE, increase the room capacity! With this setting I almost got to the limit. We need more capacity for this room!!!

    Hi Hermy!

Thanks for the list, and we're glad you have seen some improvements since the last update. Just a quick question:

Can you please give us a few examples of some weapons that you're seeing this issue with? We should be able to get them fixed up, but we just need to know which ones are causing you problems.

We're also in the process of looking over the other issues you mentioned.

    Thanks in advance!

I for example see this when I use my SIlva & Aegis prime modded for radiation.
