  1. I agree that the timing of a new player joining can be completely off in any mission, not just confined to relics. My current time record for a completed public mission is 15 seconds. I spawned on the extraction point with two of the three other players and just had to wait for the third one to turn up. Zero shots fired, zero affinity gained, nothing.

Regardless, it would be nice if people would wait for the latecomers to get their traces... as long as the latecomer is actively trying to get them! I've had people join late in a sabotage mission and go off to try to find the caches instead. Sorry, not waiting for you and nor would I expect others to wait for me if I did the same.

I have found that depending on the UI settings on PS4, it is possible to turn off the display of the other players thereby not knowing how many traces each player has (my friend had this set). I would assume that this is the same for Xbox. I will always try to message the squad if someone is short of traces and others are waiting to extract. Most of the time players are willing come off extraction to help. It would also be good for people to realise that the void fissures generally only appear when all players are close. If one player is across the other side of the map chances are the fissures aren't going to spawn and enemies won't get corrupted and drop traces.

  2. I have to agree with OP that the quality of players has declined somewhat of late. Maybe the vets have been put off by Railjack (which I enjoy btw) and are waiting for all the game breaking bugs to be patched. That being said, I did end up in a single public squad doing relic missions for over 3 hours the other day and it really made me enjoy the game again.

@SrebX You mentioned recruitment chat being limited to region so I'm curious as to what region you play in? I myself am based in New Zealand (Oceania region) but I switched to the North America region because there are so many more people online to play and trade with. Latency can sometimes be an issue but not always.

  3. Pistol arcanes?  I think you might be mistaken.

Arcanes can be equipped on Warframes, the Operator, Amps, Zaws and Kitguns, depending on the type of arcane. So sorry but no, they won't affect Titania's Dex Pixia.

Unless you're referring to the Warframe arcanes that affect secondaries? I'm not 100% certain but Dex Pixia counts as an Exalted Weapon and not a secondary, so I imagine that it still wouldn't affect it.

Latron, bursting, vulkar all three. It wasn't there.

Check the Wiki to see what weapons it affects: https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Terminal_Velocity

Briefly, it should only affect rifles that have a projectile, like bows the Boltor or the grenade or rocket launchers and I'm pretty sure that all three of the weapons you listed are hitscan. It wouldn't make any difference on them.

  5. I had a quick search of the forums but couldn't find anyone posting anything similar...

For a while now every time I get the notification in mission that a teammate need helps to open a door, the notification becomes permanent - that is it doesn't disappear from the HUD once the door has been opened. Not a big issue, just a bit of an annoyance. Especially if there is more than one of these types of doors in a mission.

  6. This is not so much a bug as feedback but it involves the Matchmaking system so I'm posting it here. Happy to move it if required...

I'll preface this by saying that I am based in New Zealand (yep, little old nowhere at the end of the world) and that in spite of this I play on the North America region as there is basically no one in Oceania, especially for trade. Up until the release of Railjack, I never had much of a problem finding a public squad for things like Eidolons, Sorties or Invasions. Occasionally there wouldn't be anyone on a particular node but more often than not I'd be able to find a full squad to play with. Over the past couple of weeks in particular I've ended up doing the Sorties solo (while set to public) or sometimes I will eventually be joined by one or two people. Void missions are more often than not empty or have one other player. In Railjack I can usually find a squad, although seldom a full team of four.
Trading is still as populated as ever, just the missions seem empty.

So my question is where is everyone? Have people gotten fed up with the bugs in Railjack and stopped playing? Is everyone playing Railjack instead? Or has the latency on the Matchmaking servers increased for some reason?

Somewhat related to this, I'd love to see a feature in the Matchmaking where I could disable hosting - that is I wouldn't host a mission (due to my location) but would only be able to join another players/teams mission.

For the record my console is connected via ethernet, we have a fibre optic internet connection and ping response to Canada is about 200ms. I've set the matchmaking ping limit up to 350ms but this hasn't made much of a difference.

  7. I will gladly second this opinion!!

I've lost count of the number of times Ordis has appeared right when I've been trying to do something on that area of the GUI. Ditto for Lotus (sorry space mum!)
Ordis' random comments were amusing for the first week or two I played Warframe. Months later I can't say the same. Muting the transmissions was fine right up until Railjack launched... now there are times when I could really do with hearing whatever Cephalon Cy is trying to warn me about.

They said they fixed sawgaws and that is a lie

Interesting. Prior to the most recent fixes I had found that I couldn't hit the sawgaws at all, from any angle unless I was pretty much standing right next to them. I hunted a few the other day and for the first time managed to catch three of them in quick succession.

I'll have to test out the lure trick the next time I'm on as it would be really handy if it works.

as of one of the more recent updates i keep finding it harder to do missions stealth, it feels like enemies are spotting me through walls and exceptionally far away, im just curious to see if others are having this issue or its just me being bad at the game (lol)

There was a change a couple of updates ago that increased the detection range of enemies significantly.  It made stealth play much more difficult and the MR9 and MR19 tests much, much harder (there's multiple threads about this on the forum).
I also understand that the stealth kill affinity bonus was removed from primary and secondary weapons but still works fine with melee. I haven't tested this myself. TBH I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature.

  10. If I remember correctly Steve mentioned cross-save on the last Devstream. Something along the lines of "the only people who aren't asking for this are the ones who have to code it".

I'd definitely like cross-play as I have friends on PC who I'd like to help out.

I'm not experiencing this bug, but given that OP is a PS4 player, maybe this bug exists in the PS4 version?

I can confirm that this does happen sometimes on PS4. I had it happen the other day after my clan mate had launched my ship from the dry dock (I was host). At the end of the mission, one of the randoms was able to select the next mission, much to my surprise!

  12. I've been playing a few railjack missions and I can't say that I've noticed the issue you've described.

Generally the host has remained as the pilot, unless they've specifically asked for someone with a higher pilot skill. Other crewmen tend to divert themselves either to archwing or guns and whoever remains on the ship doubles as engineering/security/firefighting.

That said, I do like your suggestions as having pre-defined roles would definitely make things easier, especially the likes of engineering already having the Omni tool in hand.

, they cannot rank up their Intrinsics trees

My clanmate discovered today that you can! He's halfway through building his railjack and opened his Options, Profile menu and there was Intrinsics. Upgraded his gunnery skill and it had definitely applied when we went in to another mission.

  14. No, it appears that the Research console doesn't show the available research until your Railjack has finished building.

It also seems that the Intrinsics is bound to the Railjack configuration console which is disabled if you haven't finished building your own Railjack. I noticed this when I joined a couple of missions before the last component of my Railjack had finished building. I still gained all the resources and Intrinsic levels, I just couldn't apply them until my Railjack was built.

It would make more sense to have the Intrinsics in a separate area seeing as they are specific to you and not to the Railjack itself. As for the research, I imagine that if people could contribute to it before their Railjack is built, we'd have complaints about "Why can I research this but not build it?". I guess it's easier just to have it disabled.

  15. I also noticed this yesterday. I dropped out of the first mission because I thought it had glitched, but it happened again on the second attempt.

Yes it does seem that the consoles can only be hacked one time each. I'm certain that this never used to be the case. Now it seems that unless you get lucky, the only way to complete the mission is to jump through the laser grid to hack the bursars.
