Intentional since it can trigger on impact with surfaces now? or bug. Either way, I've not seen it disclosed. EDIT: Just noticed it only breaks nearby containers upon collison with an enemy, like the original ability. This was difficult for me to notice earlier since the projectiles are so inconsistent, especially in a session with high latency.

After some digging, it seems the best/safest thing to do in this situation is to contact Digital Extremes support and explain this in a support ticket. They haven't got a support category for this exact situation but I'd say maybe file it under My Account > Update Account Information. Making a purchase with a different currency may work as expected but do so at your own risk. I found a few old (2 years+) cases of this working fine, however, the last thing we'd want is for you to be wrongly accused of fraud and have your account restricted. Play it safe and make a query about it with support first.

The Dullahan helmet and Dog days ephemera both costed 1 credit and 1 nakak pearl respectively because of their temporary nature. The 'Soaker' ephemera is the fish one you're referring to and i don't believe thats a temporary one since it costed more than a few hundred pearls iirc. They also did not explicitly mention that the soaker ephemera was leaving.
