Let's not speak of that logic breaking thing...seriously, it has a blade shape made for cutting but no slash damage, meanwhile the regular Fang have a blade shape ment moustly for trusts but has slash damage...IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENCE!

It does if you look at the flavor text and damage types. Puncture is the type intended to defeat armor, Fang Prime is intended to defeat armor by being a vibroblade.

In practice does not match the intent.

Read my whole statement again. If i understand the current system correctly, once you equip an arcane to a helmet on a frame you cannot use the same arcane on other frames. So the only way you can use one arcane on different frames is to equip it on syandanas, which disables the customization. I was purposing 2 slots every frame would have for arcanes, and for the sake of different arcane combinations it wouldn't be an auto equip to all the frames, but you would need to equip the same arcane to every frame if you wished to.

Distillers aren't consumables anymore, therefore there's no reason left for having them, therefore changing arcanes to non cosmetic arsenal slots is purely QoL and won't detrimentally affect anything.

I'm guessing that DE will still want us to use distillers so we couldn't just equip and unequip them all the time.

Except we can. It is literally just like installing mods except you have to go to the foundry to do it instead of the Arsenal, and they can't be equipped to more than one thing at a time. There is no reason other than refusing QoL at this point. The exact same results but with less menu navigation.

It does, however, negate the force of gravity

Which is relatively irrelevant given how quickly Archwings can accelerate and decelerate while swinging those swords. If the Archwing can move itself and a sword and we don't just drop the sword at a 50G acceleration in space, we can certainly carry it in 1G hover with 49G worth of power still available for maneuvers.

Is that the "feature" where I can't change altitude by looking up or down?  Because for me, that's one of the biggest problems with it.  If I'm looking up, I want to go up.  Every other kind of movement in Warframe, your movement tends to go towards what you are looking at.  Skywing specifically does *not* do this, and it makes it even more puke-tastic for me than normal Archwing.

Like most of the problems with Archwing, making it a customizable option would help. I like it it some situations but not all. I could use it better too if just Sprint Toggle had a separate Archwing setting.

But really, need a separate section for Archwing controls that does more than just sensitivity and allornothing 2.0 controls.

Split 2.0 features into their own settings and controls, split every setting and binding out of the ground controls and settings.

Well maybe the ranged weapon you could carry and use in gravity but not the melee ones since some are of decent size if on the large side but the melee not as much.

Also the in game description for the Veritex sword is "Weightless space turns this impossibly massive sword into an agile instrument of destruction." so thats kinda what id go off

And 2 ranged weapon say they are designed for space combat

The description is wrong. Weightless doesn't make a massive sword any less massive. Weight is force generated by gravity, inertia is a property of mass, not weight.

Also, The center of mass is too far up the blade for it to ever feel agile, whether it is weightless or not.

that's the only one that can get a logic explenation, on the plains you have gravity, and with that it's not easy to wield an archwing sized weapon

Except that explanation doesn't work because Archwings can accelerate far greater than the acceleration due to gravity, therefore if we can't carry them in gravity we can't carry them in any version of Archwing at all.

Biggest problems with skywing is the abysmally low flight ceiling and the lack of proper "air-break" maneuvers. And that is also one of the only problems for me. I use the "Experimental" flight model in normal AW modes.

Biggest issue I have with AW is how momentum works. You always move "forward" towards the point of aim when moving on momentum. This is just horrible. Strafing is damn near impossible to do when you can't just send yourself off in some direction and aim in an another with minor adjustments. This is true for EVERY flight model.

It's literally the biggest issue I had with PoE, over all the bugs, over focus 2.0.

    I just can't stand this.

  9. Hover mode holds altitude in Skywing. New feature.

It's the only good thing about Skywing, everything else is extremely clumsy.

Experimental controls setting isn't respected, so I can't use realistic physics (which is a separate thing from 6dof controls, though in settings they are combined, but shouldn't be, that update shipped physics and controls together but there's no reason they can't be separated). I have experimental turned on. I don't have experimental on plains. 6dof is completely unnecessary in the plains, inappropriate even, but I'd deal with it if only I could get the realistic physics, but keep the altitude lock when not sprinting, that's fine.

Speaking of thematics, might I point out that deluxe skins aren't about selling a theme accordance of the powers represented by the Warframe, rather they are another take on them. There is nothing about Rhino being a gothic knight, nothing about Nova says Hindu deity, Trinity thematically isn't a Chinese traditional festive-outfit at all. Themes like Ash, Banshee, Oberon or Nekros are in fact exceptionally similar to the original themes. So I don't think design wise players should necessrily expect thematics because usually deluxe skins have been more metaphysical, abstract, innovative and creative than what comes to mind at first. In that sense something like 80's Ember is fitting to the core design philosophy of deluxe skins

I'm going to disagree with this.

Rhino is not that far off. Heavy armored guy is still heavy armored guy. Loki is still recognizable too. If we count, Rhino, Nekros, Loki, Ash, Banshee, Oberon, Chroma, Valkyr, Excalibur, Nyx as easily recognizable, and I'm going to count Ember too because I did, it's her shape with feathers added, and Nova, Trinity, Volt as not as recognizable, it's actually the not recognizable group that is the exception.

Sure, in short bursts and not in any way that can really be relied upon. They certainly bring interesting and fun elements to the table, which is why this discussion started in the first place, but the consistency and general applicability of vacuum is just too extreme to ignore.

I've been ignoring it just fine.

Does anyone like going out of your way to pick up the dropped loot? Is it fun for you?

A large loot vacuum is absolutely necessary for me.  It's even worse for archwing because how hard it is to tell where the loot is.

It's not that it's fun, it's that it's no big deal. I move around a lot regardless picking up loot without even trying, what's 1 extra meter here and there?

A Kubrow/Kavat, as they currently stand, simply can't hijack our neurochemistry in the same way which is why they will predominantly be left on the sidelines.

Sure they can. Every time they charge into a nullifier's bubble and eat their face. That always feels good. And is more useful than the circuit the nullifier dropped.

Or when all the red crits happen. Or some Grineer get their armor deleted.

  13. Like when you play World of Tanks or any of the related or competing or otherwise similar games.

You go into a 15v15 match but afterwards you don't stay in a group with them. Unless you made a Platoon, Division, Squad or whatever by inviting someone to group with.

Most public missions in Warframe end with either a race to leave group before the host, or waiting for that one random to leave before giving up and leaving and reinviting the ones that were invited in the first place.

Proposal is basically the equivalent of forming a Platoon/Division/Squad/Group of invited players before entering public matchmaking, and after mission completion everyone in the hand picked Platoon/Division/Squad/Group automatically leaves the public group and reinvites themselves to the Platoon/Division/Squad/Group.

Games like these also let you invite randoms into your squad during the mission so you can stick together when it ends.

This quote reinforces what I just said. yeah, we get that faster melee speed can be good for a lot of builds. but valkyr will bring a better melee attack speed specific buff to the table that won't interfere with literally every other aspect of play.

Cooincidentally, Valkyr is one of my other "favorite to play as, not to play with" frames, also for Warcry. I just don't like variable melee speed and prefer control to speed generally. Warcry at least doesn't also ruin running speed but with Eternal War the melee speed can be permanent if they catch you in range and then manage to keep it going.

  15. Volt is one of my favorites to play as, but one of my least favorites to play with.

The reason is Speed. It increases sprint and melee speed to everyone in range. When you aren't expecting it, or are in the middle of Parkour, it can throw you off. It can also make melee combos harder to time.

It can be really annoying when a Volt just constantly casts it, I do a backflip to dispel it, and it's immediately recast again, and we aren't even running to the exit or anything. The game just becomes backflip simulator.
