    i thought in an idea even more crazy,  what if this frame had a power that gave him a lot of strenght and survivability... well basically Valkyr's Hysteria, but even stronger, BUT, due to it's ferocity, you coudn't completelly control it in a way that in this mode your frame would move and perform some actions randomly, in a way that you would have to try to "tame" it while figting

    Mastery fodder is what it would be. This would be the most frustrating thing to play ever.

  2. It does good damage for sure, but when I tried it my ability to hit joints with it downgraded from "pretty OK and killed the joint in a few seconds" to "why can't I hit the broad side of a barn from the inside without instructions and a flashlight" on a single Teralyst fight solo.

    I ended up not being able to take advantage of the raw damage and combo and had to give up. If you like it go for it, it does good damage if you can shoot it well. The charge up, flight time, and the fact it isn't a Vectis really prevent me personally from enjoying it though.

  3. It does look better than the concept drawing as far as individual details are concerned, but that's expected. Question is not whether it looks better than the concept, but do I like it? Better than the concept doesn't imply liking it. And I think the answer is still no for me. Nothing that I disliked about the concept was changed. So those dislikes are still there too. It's still bulky, clumpy, and asymmetrical.

    I feel like that would be a terrible decision to stand by long-term, purely from a business standpoint. Having a Proto series in addition to the Deluxe skins could potentially double income on custom skins. It seems like it'd bring a pretty hefty return on investment.

    I don't disagree, I'm just pointing out the situation as it currently sits.

    Do keep in mind that Proto skins may not be mutually exclusive to Deluxe skins. Every Frame with a Proto skin may well get a Deluxe skin someday. (Particularly Excalibur, considering how similar his Proto skin is to his normal skins)

    So far every time anyone asked DE about Excal or Nyx Deluxe skins they have said "Proto are their deluxe skins"

    Probably because that's how people would use two swords in "real life," and all warframes appear to be righties. It would be neat to have the option of going southpaw though.

    They are holding dual blades southpaw already.

    Bows are ambidextrous.

    Everything else is right handed.

    Well, usually we get 2 big updates under global number - .0 and .5 so it's possible 22.5 is for Corpus and 23.0 is for Sacrifice.

    They stopped doing this because it was stupid. Major.Minor.Hotfix is what the numbers mean. Major.MinorUnlessItsActuallyMajor.Hotfix just resulted in x.4.h getting disproportionately large and numerous h compared to other minor updates. And nothing prevents minor updates from going greater than 9, so 5 wasn't even halfway necessarily.

    You mean the Infested secondary version of an Ignis? Ya, you earn a point.

    First off, do you know the difference between a cut and a thrust? It doesn't sound like it.

    Second, let me fix something for you. ''Puncture damage is the part of the IPS...'' And said acronym stands for Impact Puncture Slash, not just puncture, all three of the basic damage types (not including status) in Warframe.

    Third... Wait, did I read that right? ''Increases cutting power *to defeat armour*'' Well ok then go fight someone in full plate armour, only attacking with cuts and using any bladed weapon. I will see when you get back...only you wouldn't be coming back.

    Puncture is the *part* of IPS that deals with armor.

    I don't see the damage types tied to the actions their names imply at all, but instead to the effect they have.

    Puncture = Anti Armor

    Slash = Bleed

    Impact = High energy hit that failed to puncture or bleed

    And enhancing the blade's cutting power to be able to defeat armor is the whole *point* of calling it a vibroblade, realistic or not, vibroblades are supposed to have increased cutting power, and Warframe says that increase is enough to cut armor, thus the Anti Armor "puncture" damage type.

    Had to look at just one wiki page and not even read it all to make your argument invalid.

    ''Vibroblades were a type of bladed melee vibroweapon that used ultrasonic vibrations to increase cutting effectiveness.''

    Also, a ''violently resonating'' blade would make the weapon harder to handle...The Fang Prime are dual daggers with a small handle which decreases the area that can be affected by the vibrations of the blade...which makes said vibrations a lot more effective at having you loose your grip on the daggers.

    Granted, we are space ninjas, sure. That still doesn't excuse the description of the weapon being wrong. A blade that can withstand ''violent'' vibrations would have to be extreamly flexible so it wouldn't break (less so for daggers but still applies)...and the more flexible a blade is, the worse it is at piercing. Add to that the fact that the blade shape is meant for cutting and you get even worse results, of course you can thrust well with something like a katana...that's still not gona make it better at the job then a well made rapier.

    PS: On my mention of the description being wrong, I am not kidding at all. DE isn't always on point with their research. A recent example would be the Jat Kusar which they advertized as a https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kusarigama and fair enough, it sort of looks like one. But that kind of weapon is supposed to be preaty damn fast and please remind what the deffault attacks speed of the Jat Kusar is. That's right...only 0.833, which is the lowest in it's weapon type and among the lowest in the game. Oh, but of course you could just put on Berserker and fix that, but that mod can make the Jat Kittag go lightning fast too and think of how heavy it is.

    Increases cutting power *to defeat armor*

    "This allows them to pierce hardened materials like armor with ease."

    Puncture damage is the IPS with the bonus against armor.

    How to theoretically make a weapon fit its anti armor description? Make it puncture.

    Sure slash status is actually better at defeating armor, but the description and damage types match.

    DE doesn't match damage types to how a weapon looks very often, and I joke that lately they've been accidentally making more realistic looking rifles, but in this case they did OK at making the damage type match their own description.

    Given damage types and bonuses and weaknesses, I would select damage types based on the actual effectiveness of the weapon, not on the animation, for instance the rapier, I'd use slash. They are light and not meant to be used against armor. Stab with a Rapier causes bleeding, but will not be punching through armor. I'd give it the damage type that has penalty against armor and causes bleed procs.
