  1. We will (eventually) have ADS for weapons like this, so I'm not gonna fret over that. I agree that this gun needs a buff, but I disagree with the OP's idea. Instead of a complete change in functionality, I believe the Panthera needs:

    - Primary auto-fire (3 per second)

    - Uses 2 point of ammo per shot

    - Increased projectile speed

    - Innate punch-through (1.2m shouldn't be overpowered)

    - Increased status chance (30%, since it doesn't have crit, status should make up for it)

  2. Aside from Sleight of Hand, I think Mirage is a good frame. With skills 1 and 3, she makes good weapons god-tier, average weapons good, and bad weapons usable from the sheer number of projectiles/beams coming from the clones.

(I think Explosive Legerdemain's functionality should be combined with SoH, and reworking the augment to do something else, but other than that, the ability is useful when used in certain situations.)

  3. Daikyu is not meant to be a crit bow, it's a status bow, which means it has more utility in lat game missions than a purely damage oriented bow. It's fine how it is. I don't even touch my Paris Prime anymore, rather use my Daikyu any day because I'm finding people put too much emphasis on damage and you really don't need to mod for all out damage like people seem to think you do on every weapon.

And I'd rather use the Phage/Amprex/Prisma Grakata to trigger the status effect(s) I want, on more enemies while killing faster.

  4. You pay them full amount, why would they give you discount?? Stop thinking about aaa company like its local store, they dont need to compete for customers.

Don't tell me how to think. And yes, these AAA companies need to compete for our business to get the upper hand on their competitors; were there only one video game publisher monopolizing the entire industry, you'd have a point.

  5. Coupons arent exactly random.

If you havent bought any plat you have slim chance for any coupon.

Then depending on stuff spend your chance for 75% raises.

But as long as youre buying your chance goes down.

Basically once system feels like you could spend money but you arent it gives you discount.

That's pretty dumb. Wouldn't it make more sense to give people who spent money on this game a higher chance at discounts than spam them on those who won't/can't put any money into the game? I know if I never see a discount (hopefully 50-75%) again, I'm pretty sure I'll not spend unless there's a Prime Access I truly *want* to buy. I don't mind buying plat, I only mind when I have no incentive to do so.

  6. > Leveling is too slow compared to the rest of the game

    > Don't have/can't find enough good mods to do enough damage or last very long in Caelus without suddenly dying (where most of the decent AW-related mods are, funnily enough)

    > Tellurium and weapon/Elytron parts are nearly impossible to find or are behind worse-than-the-void RNG

    > Extremely lacking in mission nodes

    > Lack of variety in nodes

    > Odonata boring to play with while looking like trash compared to Elytron or Itzal (opinion)

All of this combines into a frustrating experience. Must I buy Itzal because tellurium is too hard to find, whenever I try to play AW? Must I buy Elytron because of the RNG? I dunno, but my frustration with this mode matters not in the short and long run.

  7. What would it take to pique your interest in this piece of content? Many of us know that it's lacking in all sorts of ways, from lack of missions, to lack of mission variety, or the hellishly worse-than-the-void RNG that all but assures the purchases of plat to outright buy an archwing bundle (Ash Prime is funnily enough, easier to get than any of Elytron's pieces, and I'm missing only his blueprint), but that's not what I wanna talk about (today). Instead, let's talk about what we want to see and/or improve.

    I'll start:

    - More mission nodes. There should not be such a massive difficulty spike between Saturn and Uranus, which leads one to be too powerful in one area but useless in the other. More nodes of varying difficulties would ease player into higher-tier content as they get the necessary mods and affinity to take it on. May not be possible with the upcoming Star Chart 3.0. Speaking of affinity...

    - More affinity and auto-vacuum for resources. Leveling up archwing equipment is painfully slow, but missing out on tellerium because someone didn't mark it on the map is worse and adds frustration on top of tedium. Increasing XP gain by 50% and a vacuum that brings resources that are within 250m to you would go a long way in decreasing said frustration, though the tedium will always remain.

    - Mission mode: Escort. Kinda like Hijack, but instead of stealing something, you're protecting a ship (full of cargo/civilians/VIPs) from those that want what or whoever's in the ship you're protecting while it reaches its destination. Also, the ship would have its own shields so won't need yours, just to make things a bit easier on the Tenno.

Just spitballing some some stuff here. Anyone else have ideas/suggestions to help improve archwing?

  8. This is ridiclous to farm in Surv T3 C or even Derelict Surv C for Prime parts.

My latest game there, was 40 minutes in T3 Surv C and guess what? One forma, mostly keys for lower tiers and fusion cores. Maybe only 1 BP for Dakra Prime and 1 Blade.

    This is really ridiclous.

    You have my sign.

Those junk rewards in T3 survival? Were I in your shoes, I would have just left and kept my key (unless you were with other people, in which case, that would suck majorly).

Anyway, I've been seeing a sudden uptick in forma blueprints since Mag/Boar/Dakra Prime's departure, and as much as I like forma, I prefer prime parts. I kinda like to, yanno, build a prime weapon once in a while from my own farming efforts instead of having to buy plat just to get the parts I want.

I agree with this petition, as hopeless as it seems.

  9. Since we haven't raised enough of a stink about it, we gotta do it again...

    And again...

    And again...

Probably until someone makes a rule about not asking them to buff old clantech weapons and outright banning anyone that does, or we get a nerf on the Supra, just to get out heads messed with. The former more likely to happen.

  10. All the reasons why I don't touch Archwing anymore:

    - Low affinity gains

    - Far too low chance of rare resources to drop

    - Inability to get more mods beyond the following:

    Archwing:

Argon Plating - Energy Amplifier - Energy Inversion - Superior Defenses

    Arch-gun:

Combustion Rounds - Electrified Barrel - Magazine Extension - Modified Munitions - Parallax Scope - Rubedo-lined Barrel - Venomous Clip

    Arch-melee:

Bleeding Edge - Cutting Edge - Extend - Glacial Edge - Sudden Impact

    - Forced to play Uranus for best chance of mods other than what's listed in spoiler

    - Lack of options to play other than interception, exterminate or sabotage

    - Extreme lack of nodes

    - Have to outright buy an archwing bundle in order to play with something different

Maximum frustration, minimum rewards. I'd rather gamble with kubrow breeding. At least I've got some chance of success there. Archwing may not be dead, but it is to me.

  11. Compared to the slow reload speed, 12m distance the balls fly, low AoE, and inability to use Terminal Velocity and Firestorm, on top of it being weak unless in the hands of Mirage, Heavy Caliber is the problem that bothers you? The balls are gonna fuse together unless they're being shot in all directions, so it's not like you'd notice the inaccuracy.

  12. stuff

Different game, different rule set. The primary and secondary functions of weapons in the Dead Space series typically complemented each other. With the inclusion of combi-weapons in DS3, the player had a *choice* in what they could attach to their favorite weapons, as long as they unlocked the parts first. And regardless of weapon combination, I could aim down the sights. It was only a matter of pressing a button to switch a weapon's functionality.

  13. Note: My opinion. Don't jump down my throat or psychoanalyze me just because we have opposing opinions on the Panthera.

I agree. I couldn't even get this weapon to max without feeling frustrated and leaving the match early. Definitely not a fan of using a primary weapon for its secondary function, as I'd rather use my Braton Prime or Atterax if I wanted to slash to death the enemy and not look like an idiot. The flaws kill this weapon for me:

    - No ADS

    - Uses too much ammo per primary shot (at least make it use 3 ammo per shot, at least the number 60 is a multiple of 3... 20 shots instead of 12)

    - Slow projectile speed

    - Low status (kinda like the Ignis, it should do its job at proccing the primary status effect, but doesn't

    - Inability to crit

I'm not looking for the next Soma/Boltor Prime here, but I wish this wasn't such a trash-tier weapon that isn't even worth mastery points. I'm sure a few forma would help it, but I'm not very forgiving of weapons and frames with too many downsides. And I think the Miter is better.
