  1. As soon as I get the Nezha Chassis, I'm done with Sorties.

They range from trivial (Spy) to uphill battles against odds so unfair that you either embrace the meta that trivialises them or die horribly twenty seconds in.

It's like DE learned nothing from the Phoenix Escalation challenge.

  2. i'm not against it as long as he is in rotation atleast every other season for the sorties. this will also mean his parts will be worth platinum for a long time to come... there is no way this is worse than vauban parts.

Are you kidding me? Vauban's miles easier to acquire; his parts are guaranteed rewards.

  3. If sorties are meant to be integral part of starchart 3.0 then indeed it pretty much mathces my worst fears for it.

Should i however be happy about it?? well, no and thats the point of this thread.

Well, we know for a fact we're not "meant" to be able to choose what missions we can do when we want to do them.

So yeah, imagine farming for Ivara but not being able to pick when a Spy mission of a particular level is available.

And maybe only being able to run it once each time (if it's truly like Alerts).

And THAT is the future of this game.

  4. I got systems on my first go. We'll see how the drops go, but seriously. The fact that as more and more players get Nezha, other players will have an easier time getting the parts from friends or trading...

You're falling for the following fallacies:

    1) Assuming enough people will keep running sorties.

    2) Assuming people will drive the price down instead of holding onto their parts for when the price rises again.

    3) Assuming the droprates aren't weighted to hell and back.

  5. It was never your account in the first place. You gave DE all rights to it when you agreed to the TOS.

    Don't expect any refunds.

    I don't expect anything.

    But I *will* remember.

    And I will purchase accordingly.

So before this wailing chorus of self-entitlement reaches a crescendo,

I'm not asking for my money back.

I'm asking for my self-spent Platinum back.

    There's a difference.

  6. Despite constantly being told by the developers that they want to reduce both the grind and the reliance on RNG, with every update both grind and RNG increase.

At least Vauban parts were guaranteed rewards from their alerts.

At least we can stockpile most resources, and don't need that many Argon Crystals anyway.

At least we can (at least until Starmap 3.0 inevitably screws us over) target specific rewards by running specific nodes.

At least I can stockpile ducats and credits for Baro visits, and do so at my own pace to get the rewards I wanted each time.

But this? A Warframe locked behind endgame content I can only do once daily?

Farming attempts I can't catch up on if I skip a day?

Something that directly affects gameplay and progression that I can neither target nor farm?

That may become unavailable for weeks or months on end as the rewards cycle?

    Unacceptable.

It's clear you want us to buy Nezha with Platinum, and since that's the case, I want a full refund of all the Platinum I've ever spent on my own account, and all the cosmetics I've ever bought with it stripped from me (it's only fair), so that I can instead use it all on what is clearly the developer-intended purpose of the currency: buying my way past grinds and RNG traps alike.

It's clear I've been playing this game wrong all this time.

I may have been playing the wrong game entirely.

  7. The high speed of chat doesn't stop it from working just fine.  If people aren't responding, it's cause your ad is worth ignoring - either items that aren't in demand, items without prices, items that are overpriced.

I disagree; the chat goes so quickly that any one advert disappears in the time it takes to blink once. Your brain simply doesn't have the chance to register the words flashing past as actually meaning something before they're gone. Scroll up to get to the words? Why? Your brain didn't even register the presence of something you might want to scroll up and see.

  8. Are you aware of Maroo's bazaar?

Doesn't fix the problem of trying to navigate a fast-moving wall of people each trying to scream louder and more often than everyone else.

  9. The problem is that the most desirable aspect of the game is the movement. Sure the gap is closing but overall the game's speed is slow, its starting to become a generic 3rd person shooter.

This is why we need standardization or legacy/competitive game mods because there is no way in hell that Powers + EhP + Mobility while maintaining the fast paced action of the game can be balanced.

By now, you'd probably have more movement IN a tactical shooter.

And what happens when everyone's slow? Rhinos with Iron Skin, sat on the objective, laying down a hail of hitscan Soma fire because nobody's quick enough to evade it and flank them without getting cut to ribbons.

  10. I was curious, since Rank 4 seems too low a restriction to prevent the unprepared from blundering into sorties and having a bad time.

That's a total of 40,000 Mastery, which really does seem low when you realise a full loadout (plus the default Archwing stuff) takes you to 36,000.

    Warframe 6000

    3x Weapons 9000

    Sentinel 6000

    S. Weapon 3000

    Odonata 6000

    Imperator 3000

    Veritux 3000

That's dangerously low. Raising the limiation to Rank 6 would require 90,000 Mastery. That extra 50k is just a little bit over filling up all your free slots with stuff (+48k).

    Second Warframe 6000

    Five more Weapons 15000

    Three more Sentinels 18000

    Three more S. Weapons 9000

It's easy at the high Mastery levels we've achieved (and the grinding and mod levelling it took to get there) that progression in this game isn't linear--you start out frustrated by the constant deaths, then you get Rhino and dying becomes a novelty for a while.

  11. Most dialogue in this game is stilted in both writing and delivery. There's virtually no realistic diction, and when there is, it's buried under excessive hamminess.

But these latest lines? The writing is more forced than ever, and the delivery even worse. I can only imagine the VAs reading over their lines, shrugging at how little sense they made, and just going through the motions.

    And I don't blame them.

  12. I had a wonderful time getting stunlocked at the back end of the corridor.

And then in the corner of the room.

And then at the back end of the corridor.

And then in the corner of the room.

And then at the back end of the corridor.

And then in the corner of the room.

And then at the back end of the corridor.

And then in the co--whoops, back to the back end of the corridor again.
