  1. I don't like this whole "Trading Prime stuff" bit.

It adds inherent value to prime parts an you just know the community is going to gouge the ever-living sh*t out of everyone for new prime parts.

I will staunchly refuse to buy Prime Parts from any other user, and I will refuse to sell Prime Parts to any other user. In my opinion, these are things that should be earned, not bought.

i think it´s only prime for prime, but im not sure.

also, sheldon, make sure that if T1 give you keys, it has a very low chance.

i mean, if X prime part is dropped only in T1 exterminate missions and you only get keys from those missions, then it will be very bothering

  2. speaking of bows, when you shoot an enemy at point blank the arrows dont hit the enemy, they go to the left or right. it really makes using the dread againt infested a problem

  3. You are talking of a very, different problem. Thats is RNG, and RNG is bad for the important things in the game.

Yet, does player A also get lucky maxing out his serration mod? I think not. He will probably take a long time to gather cores, meanwhile player B is doing the same, also finds serration eventually, and bam, they are at the same foot.

(although I heard that lately some peeps have had a huge trouble getting it... but, again, thats RNG, not maxing it)

you asked why people wanted it banned, and how a key piece for player progress is behind RNG is one of the reasons i want it banned. and as i said, player B will quit out of frustration before getting serration

the important thing is that serration is bad for the game.

also, if it was erased from the game, the would probably give players with serration a compensation.

probably credits and fusion cores needed to level the serration you had in your inventory, and, depending on rank, maybe platinum too, besides the credits and cores.

  4. besides the reasons explained above, it complicates the new player experience.

as an example, A player gets serration in mercury. he levels it up and does well, or does above average and steamrolls trough early content.

B player didnt get serration. he goes trough a nightmare until he crashes against a difficulty spike in earth. he quits the game out of frustration.

A player wasnt more skillfull, he got lucky. B player did his best and still failed.

if damage scales with each weapon level, it´s easier for the devs to realise how they should scale enemy health. they realise "when new player reach venus, their weapons are level 5, so we increase damage by X with each level so they do X hits to kill the enemies on venus"

with serration, balancing the new player experience is a complicated thing

  5. a way to at least remove the grind from both warframe construction and void:

warframes dont need helmet, chassis and system BP, just BP from the market. BUM! now you only need credits and resources to make that warframe you wanted. bosses now give unique weapons each (which is a lot more fun)

prime weapons now only need the BP. no parts. but to make them not that easy to get, make them cost extra resources (but not extra orokin cells)

    void not diluted.

warframes can be obtained easily. now that new player that got mag at the start doesnt have to go to jupiter (which is going to take time) to get that excalibur.

  6. It should be removed in favor of weapons actually getting stronger as they rank up, but it's far too late for that. It's virtually impossible to compensate the people who've spent hundreds of cores levelling it and all its forms up.

    A shame, really.

cant they give those players the cores and credits needed to level serration, and for the work they made, 150 plat as compensation?

    that would hardly bother anyone.

edit1:150 plat if serration is rank 10, less if it´s 9, and so on

edit2: also, if you dont want it changed because you worked hard for serration, what do you think is best for the game?

  7. people are reading the OP as if he was saying "make every warframe useless"

he didnt say that. he said that the most powerfull warframes should be nerfed, and the weaker ones buffed

    I don't think you understand.

I don't want to make any Frame useless. I don't want all Frames to be hilariously overpowered at the same time.

also, some people are saying "but we need those warframes for high level defense/survival missions"

well, maybe you are not suppoused to go that high in those missions. didnt you think of that? who said you had to reach defense wave 100?

  8. There is a difference between what you think, and what actually happens/happened, Lautalocos.

If you think they did good, or it will be changed, good for you. But don't use that as a valid response to people saying facts.

im not claiming things didnt happen. in fact, in my post i pointed how they #*($%%@ up the void drop tables, and how they are broken at the moment. it wasnt all unicorns and roses.

i neither think DE is the best dev in the world, but i really don´t think they are bad/evil devs as some people claim. they are above average. and maybe they get extra points for being funny.

But what if we gave actual feedback (Hell, the Orokin Void was conjured by the clan which is not to be named, but number one, the UI changes were conjured by a member of that clan, the drop table fiasco was unveiled by a member of that clan...) and DE showed how far their care goes, to the point where there is a spreadsheet tracking the promises of the LiveStream and how few have been upheld..? Hypothetical question.

some of those promises where not acomplished, true, and some i think where just ideas that are now scrapped, but at the same time i don´t see where the timi limit for some of those promises are.

i don´t see how people giving feedback and that then getting done is bad (but english is not my main language so maybe im misunderstanding what you mean. and no, im not being sarcastic, im serious. sometimes i don´t get what people really mean)

  9. Enormous mountains of feedback have led to almost nothing.

One person datamining had more of an impact on the game, namely forcing DE to sort droprates out for a time.

    almost nothing? really?

do you realise that this game has been in development for less than one year and a half?

i disagree. i say they have done an incredible amount of work in very little time.

also, yes, they made a mistake with the drop tables.

    they fixed it and apologized.

now they did some mistakes again with the addition of void keys in the void (hey yo, i heard you like void keys), but people seem to forget that these things can be changed, and will be changed.

  10. Folks who start speaking in native language, witch most often isnt english.

I think its very ignorant towards other players.

This is a multiplayer game with people from all over the world. English should be primary.

yeah, they should totally learn a whole other language because you can´t understand that not everybody can speak english /sarcasm

  11. everyone says that now that frost has damage skills, he is useless because damage doesnt scale.

well, cant you see the true problem?

    damage.

oh, i don´t know, maybe we should fix the root of the problem, instead of the symptoms? make damage scale further in the game? no?

okay then, keep fighting for making frost a one trick pony

  12. Hi Calayne! This is awesome!
