Dear whiteknight's, these posts are really just like spitting in the wind. Thank you for post after post like this, but the community is always rabid at update time and the freaks come out as the night passes, just sit back and enjoy the show. (most times its the best part of the update night)

Not sure about the whole dead exp thing,but maybe help him out with some basics about Loki and tell him to use his invis and dummy more. Might help keep it more fun for him instead of just lay there while you play.

I just played a few rounds with a couple of Nova's and they seemed to know when to use what, we had a great couple survival runs. I love the ult too so that probably helps.

Tenno are ninjas because of what they do. They use small squads to assassinate, sabotage, spy, swipe, and plant disinformation, at the discretion of a secretive leader.
They aren't talking to the villagers. They're not forming armies. They show up, massacre the enemy, and vanish without a trace. They are known, but mainly because ships don't just "disappear", and partly because the cryopod relics have been unearthed, and legends around them exist.
The cast has that info, but most troops don't. Tenno are the stories you tell around a campfire to scare kids. There's some training as to what they look like(there's not a lot of "what is that?" reaction), but tenno aren't a "combat formations and firing squads" thing.
TL;DR: Tenno are ninjas because they use guerrilla warfare tactics to further political agendas at the command of another. Not because how close/far they are from something you saw in a piece of fiction.
Reading this I lmost got misty, you made me want to be a better ninja.

I love people and their high hopes, but it will be out tomorrow night probably late evening. They have released every update for this year well into the evening. Even if everything is done they will probably spend the day checking and rechecking, they needed an extra day for a reason after all.

I never understood why we can't pick and choose the chat channels like in every other video game that is on the market today!? I would love to have all my chats show up like they do in other games, example (in red) Clan: yadda yadda, (in green) Trade: yap yap, (in yellow) Group: hey guys we need to... (in pink) Whisper: Hey Zero, after your done with that match.... Why split them up at all, just let us see the chats we want and respond with /channel name? Just that easy.

Well it would be boring if all of them were the run if the mill ninja theme. It's nice to think outside the box a little.
Though I will agree as I always have that we don't really feel like ninjas. Maybe the bare bones definition as we just barely scratch the surface of a mercenary

wel i agree with animal themes and yhea its true where does that leave ninja. wel u know watch some more anime about ninjas and they ad up. btw its space ninja. if u know kung fu a litle it uses al animals there are in there zodiac. so dragon frame we welcome u ;)
Your of course right, but that is why I have never worried too much about the animal themes, but the ghost, pirate, and now harlequin are moving a bit south of anything remotely "ninja" Not that this is the worst thing to ever happen, I'm just feeling the halloween more than the ninja atm, just sayin'

I would like to make threats like "If we get a clown themed frame I'm out!" But, I know I will go farm the crap out of it to be one of the first to play, like every other frame.

Well, Harlequin is not it's name actually. It's name is Mirage as seen in the update 14 teaser site.

If it looks anything like the Eldar Harlequins (Warhammer 40k), you got my vote.

DE has started down a weird road for these frames, at least that's how it feels. They started with Oberon and his weird goat/deer theme, but we have animal themed frames from go (Rhino) so not really that big of a deal, then a bird... okay still kind of holding on to the threads of the ninja theme? Then a Pirate... what? Now a harlequin themed frame. Does anyone else feel like the ninja left the building?
It is becoming Halloween themed, we even have a ghost type frame with Nekros, just need a witch tossed in and we can call it quits.

The sad part of this whole thing is this is where the "end game content" was to start and it all just crumbles into PvP. The proxy wars sounded and still sound so much better than the "borderland or void" and now it is really my only option for any real quality "end game" and they will now need to spend even more time trying to fix this hot mess that is about to be PvP in the heart of a PvE game. Like we don't have enough bugs and issues that really need TLC we have to pile on this.

^^This is it exactly, plus the name is probably the worse name that could have ever graced a frame. DE loses sight of the "how is this ninja" a lot and this frame is way way off base. The new harlequin frame looks like they still are not trying to get back on track anytime soon!

I read before posting, and since you seem adamant on wanting these mods to be instantly obtainable only via purchasing, then that means you -DON'T- want them to be the same as Warframes and their ability mods, because guess what? You obtain said ability mods instantly via crafting as well as purchasing.
Next time you want someone to take you seriously, don't insult their intelligence.
I'm sorry you take this as a personal attack and can't share your views without getting emotional. I don't know you and you don't know me. I'm only here trying to help the community get a better value for their money, I see a product that is being sold to people that is not at full value. This may or may not be true, I'm simply trying to open this up for public disscussion and healthy debate. If you take this serious or not, that is up to you. My hope is that maybe you may see a valid point in the things I bring to the table and maybe I see the reasoning behind others views. If you feel insulted, maybe you need to take these chat boards a bit with a grian of salt...

If plat-bought melee weapons came with stances, would it be one stance or all available stances for it?
If you bought two polearms, would you get all the stances again?
Either way, I'm fine with people getting bonus stuff for buying things with plat, doesn't affect anyone else anyway.
(Actually, it does affect others, in that it lowers the trade price of stance mods so everyone can afford them.)
This is a great question, and thanks for asking. I think a basic stance for all types is fine. We all know DE will come out with more and more of these stance cards for each weapon type. If they offer a basic stance (and the same stance) each weapon type for each weapon bought, I feel this is a fair and honest transaction and see nothing wrong with asking people to buy weapons for platinum, however if these are not offered, why on earth would anyone spend money on a weapon when it is just as time consuming to make it and while you wait go get the stance card yourself. Seems a fair trade for real money to me and it simply baffles me that people are happy and almost eager in this thread to spend money on incomplete goods.
I'm not saying they should give us every and all stances or try to find a loop hole in trying to go get these mods, I'm saying that this is an imcomplete product without them as this system (melee 2.0) was build around the mods. Just as the frames are built around their powers, and as Elfalpha pointed out that they are not that much fun if you don't have the powers, same goes for these melee weapons.
