  1. You all act like we haven't given constructive feedback. Check about every main "Hot" forum and you'll see a reason wrong, and a suggested method. We are giving feedback.

A lot of it is filled with very aggressive undertones that detract from the feedback and make them seem more like rage posts.

Ironically the time NOT to be taking a break is immediately after a major patch.

    Could you elaborate?

  2. Rhino Glaive Vauban Dojo costs Rhino again Handspring Scorpions Market changes Snipetron removal...

    - Rhino was changed and then later buffed to a good place.

    - Vauban is new enough that they haven't had a chance to fully evaluate him. He was only released when he was because they pushed the patch back.

    - The Dojo is newer than Vauban and is too early to pass judgement on.

    - What is wrong with the Scorpions and Handspring?

    - Snipetron was counter productive to the fast action playstyle of the game. However, this point is the strongest one you've listed.

  3. Please remember it is the weekend. I've seen a lot of rage posts on the forums bashing DE's actions.

The problem with being so hostile right now: nobody's home. You are literally getting angry at an empty room. Time would be better spent either playing another game or formulating a more rational response to the issue. I understand your fury (I feel much of it myself), but bring it to the forums in a hostile manor (And on a weekend) will get you know where fast. A response on this issue probably wont be ready until Wednesday (Or later since it is a long weekend).

Secondly, hold off on hostility and judgement until after they respond to the issue. Mistakes are a part of life; learning from them is the important part.

In the mean time, spend time providing constructive criticism and suggestions for the game or simply don't pay for it.

When DE fails to learn from their mistakes, then you have my permission rage on the forums.

  4. Nope, you can take another pull at a different slot machine (Raid, Endless Defense, Defense, Capture) and have the chance that it will spit out a Key for you. You don't have to pay money into the system, but you're odds are very low.

So low that it passes a point where it isn't feasible on anyone's time schedule to do it without paying. This point is a very unhealthy place for the game to be.

  5.  Don't play dumb. RNG of this type is the same no matter where you use it.

     TF2's Crates, Warframe's drops/awards, Slot Machine, ME3's Reinforcement packs.

I have no experience with ME3, so I will not acknowledge it. The difference with TF2 crates is that nothing in them can only be accessed through crates. The shiny hats, yes, but that is purely cosmetic and it doesn't prevent access to another part of the game. I have never even seen an Orokin tile set because I don't have the money to buy the keys (Nor would I at this point frankly). Pressed poslt by mistake. The Orokin items arguably (I say arguably because they have trade offs I think? Never seen the buggers) offer an advantage over their non-prime counterparts and are only obtained by paying for access to a RNG. I and many others will not support this and think it is a full's choice for the direction of Warframe.

    Exactly! Stop buying them.

Buying void keys is the only way to access content of this patch.

  6.  So because you paid money to pull the handle of the slot machine you feel like the casino owes you money even though you didn't win?

I find the notion of Warframe being a gamble incredibly scary. If I pay money, I would like to actually get something for it.

  7. Hold on to it and love it. If in the future it gets taken away, people will start a petition about bringing it back cuz it's their all-time-favourite gun.

I don't know why, but I'm buying every grineer weapon I can since I think they are all going to go away for sucking so much.

  8. Don't Let The Door Hit You On The Way Out

I've been seeing this message a lot lately. People are leaving in droves because of this patch.

    Edit

And the fact that he is a grand master with nearly a thousand posts is saying something.

  9. You missed my point completely. You are too far jaded.

I hope in time you see the error of your logic.

I'm guessing your point was to just enjoy the game.

That's a fair point, but this game does get old and the only new content they are adding is pretty much paid only.

As for enjoying the game, different people enjoy games in different ways.

  10. Clans Zerging? You mean building?

The Dojo is in no way the end game content, it is only content added in for leisure and research. side content if you will.

This would be true if their wasn't specific content that could only be obtained from being in a large guild.

Building involves actually growing and combining. I can promise you that a majority of the 200+ clans are only so large because people joined them for the Dojo benefits.

  11. lately, I've been noticing an issue with this game in time and effort put in to the game vs the Reward. This is mostly do to the RNG at higher levels and the current alert system.

For example, I've killed Phroid ten times. Of those ten times, I've gotten nano spores and plastids 9 out of 10 times. Mods have also been dropping like candy. I get 10+ mods a run on Phroid. All of them are common/uncommon power mod duplicates. All resource drops have been nano spores as well.

The Alert system is also currently the only way to access a lot of game content and is starting to get over saturated with basic rewards.

The defense mode (the closest thing the game currently has to an end-game) often rewards +Fire Damage at all levels. (Didn't those guys that make it to Wave 80 get +Fire on like half of the rewards?)

To fix this, higher level enemies should be changed to give rarer rewards but keep them as frequent as they are in lower levels.

The other key change would be merging the Alert rewards with Defense rewards so players can actually put effort in to the game to get rewards out of it instead of just following twitter. This would also reduce the strain on the Alert system so it isn't so overly saturated like it currently is.

  12. In favor.

Too many posters do not realize the implications of scaling dojos...

    But this alleviates that issue.

    Nice post!

@GrandMaster - I think making it easier/the same difficulty for smaller clans to access the same content as large would not fly. Large clans would then have 0 reason to exist, as this 20 man clan can get the same things in the same amount of time.

The dojo sizing option is a great idea, as long as the smaller clans have to take longer to get the items, or lose out on access to certain ones.

I would be furious if a group of 9 guys got to the same content at the same speed as my clan of 300+ that would be ludicrous.

The current emphasis on zerging that clans are doing isn't healthy in the long run as it isn't strong clans; it is a bunch of players milking the benefits.

  13. The new market changes shine a further spot light on the pricing. It could easily be argued that warframes can be at a higher cost because of the complexity in them. I don't plan on contending with that in this thread, however. The point I am making is on weapons. Ten dollars for a weapon is "too damn high." A weapon doesn't have the previous argument like warframes do. It is not complex or hard to do. The only animations is needs is a switching animation, a reloading, and a firing animation.

Weapons are also seen as a smaller part than a Warframe. If you pay for a warframe, that is big! That is its own section in the inventory menu, it comes with a slew of unique mods, and it allows the use of other weapons (The logic being that you need a person to use a gun, but the actual weapon is an after effect. If you buy a gun, that is an inventory slot and a new tool for you too master, but it doesn't have the character that a warframe does. Weapons are also easier to acquire through in-game means than a warframe is: one bp and some resources, where as a warframe is triple that.

Their pricing should reflect this. Weapons should be priced at around 3-5 dollars for tier 2, 5-8 dollars for tier 1. Prices should reflect the rarity (rank required) to obtain the weapon and the overall usefulness of the weapon and the prices should be elevated for newer weapons, possibly up to 10-12 dollars. These weapons shouldn't come with a reactor by default, but they should get an inventory slot on purchase. A possibility: Slightly more expensive versions of these weapons could be sold and they would feature a reactor.

PS The resource requirements on weapon bps should be decreased slightly as well. 300 alloy, considering only 3 places drop it and two are high level, should be decreased to around 200 for newer players since they already have to pay some 50k credits per weapon on top of the resource cost. *This is only for tier 2 weapons, tier 1 should remain expensive)

PSS. The Grakatta is 500 alloy. DA ****? This doesn't make since not only because the weapon sucks but because every lancemen and his brother carries one. Logically speaking, if the run of the mill AR is the same as a boltor, why don't all grineer use boltors?  This last bit is more of a laugh than actual suggestion and can should be ignored.

TL;DR : You lazy bum (Yes, I'm going to insult you. You didn't read my post) Weapons should be priced cheaper than warframes to reflect the importance of frames and lack of importance in weapons. The Grakata sucks at everything.
