mvaldess
What title says... I understand that the revealed riven mods require a special treatment in the database. But algo the veiled ones?
Captain
What happens when I'm 90/90 rivens and I unveil another one?
mvaldess
if you are 90/90 and you unveil one of those you still have 90/90. if you are 90/90 and you receive a new veiled riven you are 91/90 and you are prompt to purchase slots (you can't), trade away a riven mod (you can't) or dissolve it. Also you can't play sorties, but you can transmute 4 rivens leaving you with 88/90.

Oreades
The problem is that while the challenges probably take up less database space I would think they would still take up significantly more than a a standard mod. Had a sorta similar idea except it involved leaving veiled Rivens completely generic until you attempted to apply them to a correct weapon. At which point the game would check to see if you had enough Riven space (EG you where not capped 90/90) and only then would it apply a unique challenge to the Riven. That way they could functionally stack Veiled Rivens just like standard mods since they wouldn't be unique until you actually tried to do something with them. Which would srsly curb the getting locked out of Sorties and festival of a bazillion "DO YOU KNOW YOU HAVE OVER THE MAX RIVENS PLZ DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT" messages when you did anything in the game while at cap.
