Where can one find a thiefs wit?

stuck on mars and need to find cephaledon fragments and apparently thiefs wit will help me alot. any help

I'm not sure if this is deliberate evil on DE's side, but it certainly is curious that
the boss of Phobos has a pretty high chance to drop Thief's Wit,
except to fight him you need to clear the Phobos Junction which already rewards you a Thief's Wit,
and to clear that you have to complete a task that would be made way easier if you had Thief's Wit.

That's nothing. After you first run into infested, the Lotus gives you plans for a heat sword. Unfortunately, to build it, you have to get to Saturn. That's a long way to go when you're just starting. (I ended up getting the free sword, but that code's been retired.)
