Reveltw
Outdated text Hey DE, do you need fun all mele weapons in one sword concept? It will be a sort of modular weapon, but its type can be changed during the battle.Yhe idea is you are using a Heavy Sword form, then you click on "a button" and your sword splits in two and you get a dual sword. Also the holder or blade can be quiqly replaced so you will get sword/nikana, polearm, scythe or dagger. Updated Maybe you can easier stance switching by making an parent object and then when switching the type of weapon you could replace parent object with an sub object. You can also allow to mod each type of weapon you can use apart. Edited April 22, 2019 by Reveltw Forgot about split-sword

Zandermanith222
That's what the Dark Split-Sword is. Or rather, what it was originally intended to be. But I believe it became what it is because DE didn't want to design special code for one specific weapon like that.
Sintag
Okay, but what are the statistics? How are you going to design around having players equip two or more sets of Mods for each form of sorts? How much will it cost to craft? Where can it's blueprint be acquired? It's a lofty idea and you've left nothing of substance behind the idea. ExcaliburUmbra
This is what Dark Split Sword was intended to work like, but DE was unable to implement in-mission stance switching and put that feature on the back burner. Hopefully they remember to make another attempt at that some day.
