Anybody know what this symbol is or means?

I finished one of the secret rooms and came across this red symbol it didn't show up until I got close to the door. Not sure if this has been taken note of already or if it has been discussed already, I didn't see anything related to it on the forums.

Locked door? Green would be for "open".

That would make sense, but is there a way to open it? I don't recall seeing any consoles to open said door.

Not really, yellow ones can be opened, the red ones serve as dead ends afaik.

red was old for dead end, but i've seen mostly blank doors for dead ends lately. I do agree this might lead to another easter egg. I really love the easter eggs so far. lots of fun to discover.
