You want to speed things up? How dare you make missions faster!

I am all for this. It would flow like mobile defense but based off killed counts. Just keep sending the mobs in. If anything it would help with the down time where this is one mob stuck in a door somewhere.

They could always have each new wave add another type of effect.

It would be a nice option. Plus like you said, they could add new effects/challenges whenever we do this. 

They wouldn't even need to create new enemies or a new tileset. They just need to add a "speed up & challenge" button, which buffs the enemies somehow.
