KamaNightfire
Not nearly as good as: Best mod in the game ikr? at least that has a use to allow a few more seconds of fumbling around if you happen to somehow have a hard time doing them for whatever reason, even with Ciphers. Sixty5
Its all about choices. Maybe someone will use it to help cut an extra second or two off of their obstacle course run.

LordOda
Actually, with the way Maglev works, you can get extra speed out of burst-wave-running as it stands. And as well it helps slide attacks, specificly with the heavy weapons. It also effects the distance generated by mid-jump sliding. Is it the worst mod in history... no. But I fail to see how this is "Bandaiding" anything. ...wait, is this more of the bum-hurt feelings stuff when they nerfed wave-running? It is isn't it... Bronte
Not nearly as good as: Best mod in the game ikr? Lets pray this means there gonna make hacking harder, cause i only ever get 6 symbols but in one of the mastery tests i got something like 8 - 10 symbols. Which was fun and challenging. alchemistjkt
Not nearly as good as: Best mod in the game ikr? hide yo kids, hide yo wife... on topic: its not really lazy imo just not properly implemented. as it stands, you would be hurting yourself more than helping by equipping some of those "well this seems pointless" kind of mods. perhaps a revision to how/where/how many mods are used will be a better option then making more of these sorta useful very situational mods. BlueIstari
Yep. Band-aid after band-aid. Want to be more mobile? Better get rid of your useful mods for crap like this. Well, if you're not willing to mod for it, I guess mobility isn't that important to you, now is it? That said, I laughed pretty hard when I picked up Maglev. CriticalVoid1
What they need is some kind of nightmare mod for this. Something that gives 2-3 passive boosts in one mod. That would make it interesting and way more viable. Silvershadow66
Once again, DE tries to fix issues with more goddamn useless band-aids. There is no issue with sliding or hacking. It is set at the speed that DE feels is appropriate. Its not a band-aid its a choice for people who want a faster travel speed. Ryjeon
I think these little niche mods could be interesting as components in a crafting system, allowing us to create mod sets composed of multi-effect mods that include these little perk effects as well as the core stats.
