Galatine: How Fast Is It Really? Video

So I wanted to put up a video for those wondering how far to go with speed mods when using Galantine.

 

The video is four clips

 

Clip 1: no mods

Clip 2: maxed reflex coil

Clip 3: maxed reflex coil and maxed focus energy

Clip 4: maxed reflex coil and maxed focus energy and maxed fury

 

You can hear the difference in the speed. The charging sound gets cut off earlier each time.

The game doesnt compact the whole sample into less time for faster speed, it just stops the sound and triggers the swing sound earlier.

To be 100% honest with you, it's one of the few things I use Chrome for.

if youre using firefox all you gotta do is click the shield by the back button and say disable protection on this page. it will stop blocking the video and let you see it. this is frame forum bros, its not like its gonna be pron.

The thing is for galatine to be as fast as an un modded long sword it needs those 3 maxed out mods, so It seems fairly balanced

Somehow I find the image of Nova, also with the Soma equipped, demonstrating the capabilities of the Galatine... just so descriptive of Warfarme right now.

Well hey, people typically only use the best stuff before something better comes along or the best stuff gets nerfed.

People will not intentional gimp themselves and if 5 weapons exist and one is 1% stronger that will be the weapons everyone uses.

 

It is easier to have tiers than it is to make everything side-grades because stats are unequal in value.

 

If five items each had a distribution of 100 stat points: Each would have to use a different distribution of the individual stats for each weapon to be unique and there will always be one out of five that is the best optimization of 100 used points. Same thing happened in wow, a weapons with a certain item level value might have 3 side-grades at that level, but one of the side grades had the desired stat balance and the other 2 were unused.
