Garuda's first ability against Sentients?

While doing Murex today I noticed that shield from Garuda's first ability doesn't protect from projectiles launched at you from Sentient units. Is it intended?

If yes I would call it stupid, because her shield and 2nd ability are things that are best of her kit for me.

Certain attacks with AoE will bypass Garuda's Dread Mirror, unfortunately. Battalyst, Symbilyst, Brachiolyst, and Mimic's arm cannons all deal AoE damage.

Bonus note: Dread Mirror's instant kill threshold on the lunge will apply to Sentients. This bypasses their resistances as well.

^ but her Shield blocks the Battalyst’s Disco move for some weird reason.
