Recommended Heat/Heat-Related Damage-

Normally, I hear Cold/Corrosive is usually the all-rounder damage type these days, but with a recently obtained base-heat damage weapon, neither of those are an option anymore.

Do I just focus on turning up the heat - or is Explosive/Radiation/Gas a more viable option?

Blast is dead, unfortunately. you can use Viral or Corrosive, whichever will synergize with your Weapon and Warframe choices more. it'll really depend on your scenario.
Gas is okay but is not that great - whether it's any good will depend on your exact Weapon.

Ice Status is nice, but Fire Status is very compelling now(Armor Weakening plus also a very strong DoT), so if you have to have the other instead, that's okay.

Heat only makes good sense if you dont run Corrosion too because it has ArmorStrip too.
I run Viral/Heat alot in a grineer/infested build.

My personal go to anymore is Heat/viral. Gas is not in a good place since the status rework, so the heat/viral is good for the basic star chart. For Steel Path is use the elements that the faction I am fighting are weak to most.
