a diferent design for a new open world.

looking at the open world cities i cant help but feel like they are missing alot to be considered good enough, so, i came up with a few diferent ideas that would make them, more than just "bounty" or "hotspot of the week". giving them more personality, and making them feel like worth returning to, even after completing everything they have to offer.

1- CREDITS VENDORS: the currency that was meant to be the main one, is instead relegated to the market and the foundry. we walk through cetus, see people selling alot of stuff, but they ask for IS standing, why? we have an npc that is "selling" pottery, another with tapestry, another with many(but mostly the exact same) pans, another selling meats, a diferent one with vegetables and fruits... none of them is interactible. but the game does sell alot of those... for plat. yeah, credits are easy to come by, but that doesnt mean they should be worthless.

2- DIFERENT LOCATIONS: if you go into many dojos you will notice that many of them have things that are incredibly fun, and they feel much more like cities than all 3 ones we got. why is that? because they are made by players, who dont actually see obvious things like those in the places they should be. one example is restaurants. yeah, there is a guy with a pot in a corner of cetus with a few plates around... but again, they arent interactible. so, why not? imagine this, you have a couple of diferent restaurants, a fancier one, a more fast food one filled with snack, and a third one, with more natural things. you go at them with your operator and if given a choice based on which place you went. you pick your food, and now your operator will gain a minor buff that will last an hour. it could be anything from 5% damage with amps, 10 hp regen per second, and so on. then you look around, and you see a couple of extra places, one that offers buffs for your sentinels and moas, and another for your pets. again, all that for credits, dont need to be cheap, but doesnt need to cost a million either. 5-10k for a minor buff would make those places worth revisiting.

3- DIFERENT LOCATIONS pt2: toys and interactibles. this is a city, so why not having places for minor competitions? a smaller pvp version of dog days in cetus, a a pokemon version of moas, where you put your moa to compete against other moas, kubrow racing, and so on for your frames as well, "oficial" races involving the k-drives, you fall or dismount and you are out. do 2, one without mods and another with mods, do a lazer tag with operators, you get shot, you lose a life, 3 lifes you are out, 2 teams of 5 each,  do other playfull things, like minor stuff, put a stand where people can play their shawzin, maybe a couple of tables with playable komi.

EXTRA- here is an idea for a pass time that would be amazing: WARFRAMES & SENTIENTS. imagine this, a D&D inspired, minigame, that could be played solo, or up to 5 players, it would be divided in 2 sides, the lotus(the dungeon master) and the warframes(the players), each player pick a warframe they have, that will start at lvl1, and they have to complete a dungeon, facing a sentient in the end. each player is able to pick a choice based on the current dungeon, like for example, an infested cave in deimos, and as they level they open powers, they find mods and weapons that they can equip, this would be a turn based d&d game. represented by articulars. if a player has one, they can use a custom, if not, they use a default. there could be a number of adventures, that would be easy to implement since they will all use the same base.

this is my Post 1 for better open world cities.

thanxs, by the way, which ones you liked? i just thought of some fun things that could be put into the cities to make visiting them more than just standing farm.
by the way, if you have any good idea, please feel free to post it. there are so many things they could do, its always good to hear from diferent people on what they would like to see them implement.
