How to finish "Deadlock Protocol" quest?

So let me get this straight... This quest requires that you use a weapon type (glaive) that the player may have never used before. A glaive that is rank one and can only hold one mod. It requires that you fight an extremely tanky enemy (The treasurer) to get an item to activate the portal? The treasurer can stand next to a shield osprey and get their entire shield back instantly? And then when you do finally kill the treasurer you go through the portal, to free the dudes, and then the BOSSFIGHT.

The boss has a massive amount of shield health, and an even more massive actual health. On top of that they have damage resistance. Resistance SPECIFICALLY to the element of the melee weapon that is rank one and you are forced to use? On top of that if you even attempt to melee the boss with your melee weapon you will die in two hits? And if you DO manage to get their shield down and hurt them, but for ANY REASON (like the boss having an infinite ammo gun that they shoot at you constantly) you have to run away to not die, their shield will regen to 100% FULL in a matter of ONE SECOND? While YOUR shield takes over 10-30 seconds depending on it's mods?

Deadlock Protocol isn't supposed to be done by new players. Its supposed to be done after you've cleared all other quests AND the Star Chart.

... This is why I'm against making content open to new players when its clearly not supposed to be unrestricted...

you are not ready for this content if you consider the treasurer tanky.

come on now... how is that even an argument?

as S#&$ty as it sounds, this is a git gud issue. get better gear, improve your mods, use the right mods, learn how to use alt-fire/heavy attack, etc. this is a gimmick fight you seem to be trying to brute force with a wet noodle.

Why do they EVEN BOTHER THEN? I'm surprised this game is still so popular if that's the case with how new missions are being developed!

It features level 12-ish goons in the rest of the quest...

It's also unlocked immediately after reaching MR 4 and the only plot you need to have to enter it is Vox Solaris.

There's really no reason to suggest it's anything other than a starter quest. Do you have any evidence other than the Protea fight to suggest that it isn't?
