Need More "free" Weapons

hello everyone,i'm new in here but I think that many of the weapons should be free,i mean buy those with credits instead with the platinum, what you guys think?

By free, do you mean with a slot and catalyst, or just the barebones weapon?

You can get weapons without Plat. You just have to buy/farm the Blueprints. Then build said Blueprints with resources.

I do agree that there needs to be more starter options. My buddy quit because he didn't like the Mk1, nor the Burston.

 

Newbies need to be able to try out guns for a mission or two before having to invest all their resources on one without knowing whats good or not.

If this was a paid game, yes. However platinum is DE's only bank in this game.

If you got weapons for free, what would happen to all the challenge? A fun game doesn't give you stuff automatically (besides starter weapons) and makes you work for it so that there is more pride in you when you finally got that weapon you wanted. Also, the reason stuff is plat now is because the devs wanted people to farm for the BP/recources for the exact reason I stated in my previous sentence.

I think what he meant was weapons than are readily made that are buyable with credits (braton,lex,strun)

All low-tier weapons (Grakata, Dual Skana, Dual Lato, etc) should be purchasable by Credit. It may not seem like a big change, but it gives new players a better taste of Warframe's action and variety of weapons than making players grind from get-go just to get new weapons.

Every single weapon in this game is obtainable for free, and a lot of the upper-tier ones can't be bought with Platinum.

 

Scroll down the Marketplace a bit; you'll see Blueprints of the weapons for Credits.
