bugzc
While I do like the fact that the new war left a impact i miss the locations that got changed. such as the wilderness of the plains or the cold of the vallis. some way to toggle or chose to go back to them would be a small yet much appreciated QOL change.
Leqesai
For the love of mustard please yes. Post New War plains and orb vallis sucks. DE has already introduced Eternalism to Warframe, so we could very easily justify the pre and post new war states via Eternalism/Void nonsense. Who cares what the reason is... just give us the option please.

BroDutt
It's been years since New War, why ballas head still exist in Orb Vallis? We should get the old Orb Vallis and POE for normal bounty or free roam, and the New War for Bounty Narmer.
LostMilip
I put 3000+ hours in this game, but I will never understand why the #*!% are the single player missions the worst part of the game in terms of mechanics. They should be able to be easily finished even by the most casual players. Why am I being punished for trying to learn the story. And of course the rest of the game is completely closed for me because of this #*!%ing dogS#&$ garbage. These are the dumbest decisions ever made. Just put a switch like the one for the Steel Path. I was stupid enough to start that festering pile of S#&$e New War quest, because I naively thought "they can't make the next single-player quest just as dogS#&$ mechanically as most of them in the past, right?" Well, wrong, and now I literally can't play the game. "Skill issue" can be an acceptable answer failing to make progress in things like Steep Path, but why is it in story missions? Especially if the game becomes a stuttering dogS#&$ when one has no option for character improvement, unlike in the rest of the game. I never understood this immature, mentally twelve-year old way of "git gud" thinking from the development team when it comes to story missions, why people are getting punished for trying to enjoy the story of the game. Story missions should be the least challenging, so more and more people can get access to them, because the story is really great, it is really worth to experience. I know that DE is terrible when it comes to tutorials, the Awakening was the best tutorial I have ever seen in the game, the rest is a convoluted mess, but I thought they learned from the mechanically terrible story missions. Or matured during developing them... Edited June 13, 2023 by LostMilip
eksby
Bumping this, because I agree. Give us a toggle for post and pre New War for Cetus and Fortuna. I did not complete either Cetus or Fortuna before doing New War, and now I regret it immensely because I'd wanted to experience the pre-New War Cetus and Fortuna while ranking them up. Also, I liked the snow a lot better than the new melted area.

Why make it so hard and stuff for amateurs like myself 😡
Voidpacer1987
I agree with this. I have wanted this for ages.
Enclosing_Silence
I'm glad I happened across this post. I've played this game casually for several years. So I've always been way late to the newer content. I just finally started killing the Teralyst solo for the first time a week ago and I've only done a few things in Orb Vallis. With the New War being my next quest that I haven't started yet, I suppose I won't rush into that one.
eksby
Bumping this up because it's still relevant, especially in regards to the new player experience. I have a friend who has just started, and I warned them the maps would change if they started the New War so now they'd decided to put it off until they've finished the old content entirely. Please make it a toggle, because not all of us are caught up to content and new folks especially will experience Fortuna and Orb Vallis for a little while, do the the New War and then can't play on the old maps again.
