People AFK in lobbies

Its becoming more common seeing people AFK in squads and it's getting irritating. In sorties, steel path/circuit, arbitrations, random missions. I DO NOT want DE adding a vote to kick and never want it in the game, but its almost like the norm now having 1 afk out of every 10 squads.

I've always gave people the benefit of the doubt because emergencies do happen and I never held it against them. But blatantly afk by interacting with the wave screen right away, revive after sitting in the death screen for 10min.

Expecting random people to carry is out right disrespectful. I ignored it for a while but now I'm finding myself QQing even though I have a solid line up in steel path circuits. This could just be me and I'm ranting, but it has been the case that I might've needed a extra hand instead of trying to fill for someone.

It's not uncommon for me to get called away for a minute here and there to help my spouse with something that requires more hands, and I hope that folks are generally chill with real life interruptions happening from time-to-time.

But if what you're seeing is someone just standing there for rounds at a time and never returning to contribute, that's an issue.  Thankfully, you can report players like this, as DE considers this to be "griefing/harassment".  After your run, you can do the following:

1. Open the pause screen
2. Select Communication
3. Select Friends
4. In the upper-right, there should be a list of Recent Players.
5. Right-click the player, select Report.
6. Choose "Harassment" (or whatever the exact wording is)
7. Add the details of what happened and send the report on its way.

Doing this will make sure DE can keep an eye on these players and intervene if this is a regular occurrence.

Just leave when you can if you think someone is intentionally idling.

humans gonna human. I guess my experience differs from yours, because I usually just get people that seem to not know how to play the game instead; they die a lot, are usually equipped with sub par weapons (which likely aren't modded well either) etc, and they can be any and all MR ranks.)

I will keep that in mind to report them, It never really crossed my mind to be griefing. I normally dismiss it and not think much of it because there's plenty of times someone needs to step away. That's not what's happening.

It's obvious the intentions to sit in the death screen from the beginning of the run and only interacting with the game only to accept the next wave. I just hope it does not become even more common in groups especially with steel path circuit where it's already a bottle neck for most of us getting a frame/wep combo that can clear for 5+ tiers in one go. It's a game mode that need everyone participating, but once and a while there is that one person expecting to automate it with random people.

When i see an AFK player i just pull enemies to him and kill him xD
