mr_smexypants Posted July 12, 2023 Share Posted July 12, 2023 I was trying the game today for the first time in years but my audio wasnt coming through my head phones. I tried switching audio devices til it worked but none of my options went to the headphones. Not only that but some options killed my audio to discord as well. Funny enough the audio to my speakers works but it loops into my headphones for the entire discord to hear. Me and a friend were trying to fool with in-game settings and pc settings for about an hour but we made no progress on how to fix it. I'm running windows 11 and My headphones are corsair void pro. Nekomian Posted July 12, 2023 Share Posted July 12, 2023 Looks like your headset supports some wireless feature via USB dongle; I'd try a different port for it, and also make sure it's updated driver and software wise. The support page itself doesn't actually say it supports Win11 (https://www.corsair.com/us/en/p/gaming-headsets/ca-9011152-na/void-pro-rgb-wireless-premium-gaming-headset-with-dolby-headphone-7-1-carbon-ca-9011152-na), so there may be some issue with it and Windows' updated audio stack for this new OS, I'd have to check around forums and reddit and stuff to see if it's a known issue. This is definitely an issue with your specific system and setup though, I use wireless headphones myself and have no problems with it, I don't think it's an issue with the game engine or its audio routing specifically. mr_smexypants Posted July 13, 2023 Author Share Posted July 13, 2023 Well after checking for updates to drivers i have none and i have icue and tried messing with a little bit of everything on the icue app still not having luck with the audio :c Something that did happen however is when i disabled my 2 monitors as speakers, the default(in game output) sent a really loud feedback type sound through my headphones. Restarted the game to see if this would get fixed but it just kept doing the awful sound. Gonna try to see if i can download realtek audio driver too see if that will do anything but after that im not really sure what else i can do:/ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mine come from the fact that windows install 2 bluetooth drivers : one for stereo (headphone only) and one for Hands-free (Headphone and micro). You have to look in Win+X / right-click on the Windows 11 Start Menu icon then Device Manager and finally look if you had 2 drivers instead of one. Most of you audio device in discord and warframe are in general set at default that mean windows is managing them. You could force it to your audio mixer (realtek digital output) for alls applications to be able to the same device at the same time OR re-set them at default if not.
