Founders being first in is probably supposed to be more of a token salute to them by giving them the opportunity first. It does come off as sketchy though, since they're going to be guinea pigs.

The issue I see is, I imagine most founders just so happen to be PC mains + founder stuff doesn't transfer. So in terms of testing the system they'll probably be very light on utilizing it. Projected low engagement from founders is likely why they get to be the first canaries for the system load. I hope when DE implement this on the live database they at least run some comprehensive batch tests on the live server DB with their own test accounts first prior to letting players touch it, for each wave, Can't speculate on their operating procedures though. 

I'm hopeful that as long as the same dilligence that went into the crossplay tests goes into this, It'll probably go past the founders only phase relatively quickly. If nothing goes catastrophically wrong.
