Stop nerfing ember!!!

Yes, it used to be a flat inside the effective radius, like so many other frames. Then went to whats in front of her in the effected radius, now purely line of sight. So say you see an enemy on a layered multi level area. They jump down, but effectively you would still know they were there. It wont fire. Also casting will still heat up your second ability (but wont cost energy) meanwhile every other frame that has a radius mechanic like this...oh like volt, banshee, citrine, qorvex, saryn, wisp, nova, hydroid, gauss, oberon, etc. They all have an effective radius, effecting all in their area, despite line of sight.

they grind the boot on ember constantly trying to put her out completely, the funny part is her old pre nerfed form would fit right in with current era damage possibilities

Lets keep this energy towards fire blast which has way worse los it has moments where it doesn’t hit enemies in front of you inferno is prefect as is.

Honestly I have more beef towards Fireblast than Inferno : it doesn't strip cc immune stuff like acolytes, for reasons I guess and it has too restrictive LoS checks that make the ability feel dated and inconsistent.

And well, just adressing the elephant in the room : that damn Immolation drain is really stupid. Energy economy was the main reason as to why Grendel was reworked, yet Immolation still ramps up to infinity if you don't cast Fireblast every 5 seconds. I absolutely hate being forced into both max efficiency AND energize if I want to play her full kit. She's the only frame I consistently want to play but end up not touching JUST because of that damn drain ramp up.

Ironically she has been consistently one of the most popular frames. They make her what she ought to be, people whine and complain and they take her down a notch or 7, while volt is getting buff after buff

I don't know what you are talking about. I play her on SP. Usually solo so her 4th actually hits

Her first is annoying as a console player i lose the ability to aim if charging, and losing the napalm effect was sad. If thats not the case then ive been playing with fireball friezy for too long.

 

However i have never had the need to play energize and is imho one of the less desirable augment mods for her. You're not maximizing her for what she is. Her 4th is nearly everything especially at SP level. The additive bonus from setting enemies on fire, causing panic, spreading more fire builds her up, 3rd for knockback + armor strip and they are crispy bacon in no time. Need that 4th to actually hit and not cause excessive heating. 

 

She has extremely fast play and she is for sure a casting frame. If you can play her right she goes from a camp fire to an uncontrollable wild fire.

 

Fireblast is fine and i constantly knock armor off. Awesome mechanics of 1,2,4 into 3rd. You wont cause knockback on exilis or overguard enemies and major bosses which is acceptible.

Ehh just to get it off my chest...

I really do think her 4th ability's animation is just awful, she isnt a sorcerer or druid, why not just update the graphics on the pillars of flame from her WoF days (the liches got that, sigh) 

 

Radiating/pulsing heat aura because she's hot? Couples with her immolation levels

something similar to a solar flare reaching out and tagging enemies (the hotter = more energy the farther it can flare out and reach)?

A flame on/second form/shattered form which reveals the fire demon inside 

 

No additional thought was put into damage levels, whether its a toggle on/off, single cast, or duration. Just something that isnt this diablo ii druid style metor.
