Qorvex's New Augment Should be Given to Chyrinka Pillar

As the title states.

His new upcoming augment will grant Containment Wall:

- 50% armor strip/shield strip

- Resets the duration of Chyrinka Pillars when struck while also empowering them.

This would be pretty fantastic if it wasn't for the fact that Containment Wall has a very narrow range and only hits enemies in a straight line.

I think they should give the armor stripping capabilities to Chyrinka Pillars while also slightly increasing it's base range. The pillars hit in a circular radius and will have a far better time consistently stripping enemies and constantly stripping enemies without having to constantly recast Containment wall for enemies you might have missed. Considering they constantly pulse and can pulse faster; it'd make more sense. The pulses will account for new enemies entering Qorvex's territory without the extra energy cost of casting another Containment wall.

They can still allow Containment wall to empower and reset the duration as the augment states.

Or alternatively they can have Containment wall cast in a large cone rather than a straight line directly in front of Qorvex.

It's similar to other shreds of the same sort. Tharros strike is a good example. Abilities that fully strip armour only work without discrimination if they are limited by range. If you look at terrify or Gaze it won't affect acolytes. Its sad that they made qorvex bad from the start but never fixed him. The pillar beam interaction was interesting but ultimately the frame arrives right after dagath and kullervo making qorvecx' stationary slowkilling ass kinda unexciting. Ontop of that his 3 status immunity is such a joke with frames like Dante arriving soon after. An augment that makes one of his abilities on par with tharros strike, while being a gamechanger for him still won't significantly increase interest for him i think.

If it does have armor strip without discrimination then I can probably forgive the limited range. Even if they made Qorvex on par with some of the better nuke frames in the game, since his release was kind of a mixed bag I suppose he'll never get that public interest going for him anyways. It's like a similar situation to Sevagoth.

Depends on how you use it. If the augment was for pillars, you'd have to go in yourself with a slam to guarantee the pillar timer reset, since the Radiation proc tends to make enemies stand outside shooting the former allies inside the pillar radius.

For Containment Wall, though sometimes going up/down inclines can be janky, the wall segments spawn through walls in your path, so it becomes easier to strip enemies without exposing yourself in high level, then you can peek out and clean the room.
